HASBRO ONLY: For this tournament we will ONLY be using original Hasbro Burst Parts. All parts from the first season to the current season are allowed to be utilized.

Hasbro Pro Series Parts are not allowed. You cannot use the driver, the disk, the frame, nor the layer parts.

You cannot use any Takara Tomy Disks. That means no TT Giga, no TT Wheel, no TT Paradox, etc.

Format: The format for this event is Nightwing's Blader's Kingdom. Please read the Blader's Kingdom Rulebook prior to confirming your attendance to ensure that you or your child have the appropriate equipment to compete. Legal parts / launchers will not be lent out by event staff.

Rules Overview:
You will need five (5) official beyblades with non-repeating parts.
You will receive coins to wager on your duels.
You must accept a challenge from a blader you have not faced before.
You will flip a coin to see which blader chooses the stadium.
The first blader to score five (5) points is the winner.

Location: This event will be held indoors at Nightwing's Gaming Loft, located at 7898 Cryden Way, Forestville, Maryland 20747.

Time: As the tournament will start promptly at 11:00pm, please plan to arrive around 10:00am when registration will begin. Registration will close at 10:45-ish am. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue. [/font]

This format is a mix of timed free play and a standard double elimination bracket for the top eight bladers. The open rounds (free play) for this event will be two (2) hours long. Once those two hours are up we will move to the double elimination bracket that will consist of only the eight bladers with the most coins at the end of the open rounds. The double elimination portion usually lasts another two (2) hours. If you have any questions about this format, feel free to ask below and I'll help you out.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please call our work number and let us know (240.838.7730). If you show up late during the open rounds you will still be able to play, but, you will have less coins so it's fair to the other bladers.

Participants: There will be a cap of 36 participants; but feel free to still show up even if the limit is reached, there are always folks not showing up the day of.

Prizes: Will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place players after the finals have been completed.

If I wait until tournament time to ask them, when we only have 90 minutes to wager coins, I'm going to lose precious time worrying over it or I'm going to have to accept things whether or not they're legal. So I'm asking these ahead of time. Bear with me, there's a LOT of questions:
---

The following disc frames appear to have no Hasbro release:
Axe, Dagger, Proof, Reach, Turn, Hit
Some of these (Proof) only exist on Pro Series Hasbro releases.
Will they be permitted on Hasbro discs at this tournament?

(Question redacted, asking directly over PM so as not to break a trust towards the person who came up with the idea. I got your back.)

Hasbro does not appear to have painted discs that I can recall. Will painted discs be permitted, or only the unpainted ones?

If I have a color frame for a frame that Hasbro has released, but not in that color (I have a nice solid blue Cross frame for example, I also have a lot of Gold frames from a TT special set), will it be usable on Hasbro discs at this tournament?

I have mixed all my discs together. I mostly cannot tell which ones are Hasbro and which TT. I found some 00 discs with no stars on them (assuming Hasbro) but I also found some definite Hasbro discs with stars on them (aero'). Will we need to determine a disc's origin for this tournament, and if so, how do we?

Will you be using Hasbro beystadiums for the final round instead of TT ones?

1. If there is no original hasbro equivalent of the frame then it cannot be used. That goes for any Pro Series release frames, if the frame is a pro series only release it can not be used.

2. The only painted hasbro discs I know of are the red ones that were recently released but your frame-able discs can be TT or Hasbro since they all carry the same weight, for the most part.

3. You can use the TT version of a disc that hasbro has released.

4. See #2

5. The finals will be the usual DB, Dash, and Standard stadiums.
So in short,
Axe, Dagger, Proof, Reach, Hit frames: Banned
Painted discs with Hasbro counterparts: Permitted
Non-Hasbro-Released parts: Banned

We’ll be running a Pokemon TCG tournament once the beyblade tournament has concluded at 4pm-ish; I’m just getting into the game but I think I’m pretty God-Tier already soooooo…. Yeah.

Just for full clarity.
The pro series zenith is allowed because there is a standard hasbro version? I think this question & answer may clear up future assumptions. Lol.

Nope, that one with rubber isn’t allowed.

If you'd like to hook your console up to one of the TVs that can be allowed but you'd have to still pay the hourly price to play.
It is me, your boy, Deceased Crab, back again with another of those annoying rules questions!

Level chips! Hasbro never released level chips, but certain ChoZ recreations in Hasbro do support their existence. Would Level chips be allowed on these? I am assuming, based on all the other answers, that the answer is no.

Also wanted to check: still one direction switch per shuffle, and still an unlimited number of direction switchable beys per deck? Because I can definitely see that coming up during this tournament.

You are correct, that's a nopers.

Yup, one direction change and unlimited switchable layers. I'm sure someone is going to go Legend, Requiem, Turbo, Lord, and World.
The one thing that I'm curious about are QuadDrive armor tips. I know I've brought this up at one of the previous tourneys, but I dunno if any conclusion was ever reached. If someone uses a QuadDrive driver, will they be able to choose between multiple armor tips during the mode change phase? By all logic, this should be a no, but I bring this up since the name of the overall combo wouldn't be changed. For example, the Assault-Q driver is still called Assault-Q regardless if it's paired with an armor tip or not.
The way I've understood it, with Quaddrive drivers, you bring it to the match with one tip attached. During mode changes for that bey, you can remove or attach only that specific tip. You can't just show up with 8 Quaddrive tips for your one quaddrive driver and apply one of the 8 whenever you want. Each quaddrive driver core you use must be associated with a single tip, no repeating parts. You can't take the Defense-Q tip off a driver on one bey and then put it onto a different driver during a match.

That's how I thought it should work, just didn't know if there was already a rule for that situation

About that,is it legal to use a  regular tip with a completely different tip armour?

No, don't... don't tell us everything you're bringing. If we know what you have, then we're prepared to defeat it. Bring stuff that is legal for the format, only Hasbro parts, but don't tell us what those exact parts are.

Also, you have two keeps on there. You have to make 5 beys with non-repeating parts. Even if one is Hypersphere, "Including any combination of regular/Dash/Metal/SlingShock/HyperSphere versions of a Driver is not permitted."
