Times:
* Meet up at 59th St. Columbus Circle at 1:30pm underneath the giant globe.
* Head to Heckscher Playground to set up along with practice and free play at 2:00pm. Registration will take place at this time.
* Official tournament starts at 3:00pm

Like all official WBO tournaments, there will be a $5 entrance fee if you don't have a Blader's Passport. You can buy one at the tournament for $10. As you know it allows you to enter any tournament for the next year without paying the fee, as well as giving you the chance to participate in whatever contests or giveaways the WBO may offer.

So far the judges are ikmv, Armored00taku, and myself. As more people sign up I will seek out more judges. The format of the tournament depends on the number of entrants we get. I have stadiums as well as ikmv, but feel free to bring your own Takara Tomy stadiums. It's better to have more so that the free play runs smoothly. Also, I will pretty closely follow the time schedule set up, so please try to make it on time, if not early.

Additional Comments: I remind you all to be very mindful of your belongings. Let's have fun. The weather should be good around this time. Also, I don't care what any of you say. I like the name I chose! Also, somebody should totally make some awesome graphic for this event. ALSO, DO NOT SPAM THIS THREAD!

Whew! I had nothing else to do and now I have finally finished the video.
Here's the tournament video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSJTU3snnOI
It has some shout outs in it too so yeah check it out Wink
That was a pretty entertaining video. BTW, sorry if I kept getting in your way during the finals. I think that was my shoulder that kept peeking into the camera, trying to take pictures. lol
No you did not get in the way at all. It was mostly my shadow that got in the way because of the sunlight and sometimes it was my finger that got in the way too.
Thanks for the comment on the video and on here!
This is my most favorite shot from the tourney. It might be Otsu's Bey, IIRC, during the 3rd place Round Robin.

I JUST missed that contact shot, but this was still worth it.
lol. dude, if u hade a high speed camera, u would be able to go back frame by frame and see the contact spot.... just saying. =) i want one for my birthday. T.T
Unfortunately, I don't think mine can do frame-by-frame. Unfortunately, I can only shoot 1 pic at a time.
I found some other videos showing the champion's reign in the tournament-
Here's the beginning- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fj7WqxZdF...er&list=UL

I think there are other videos too, if you want to see yourself vs Zach(if you battled him). I also think his guardian, he was with, uploaded them to YouTube or it was him?

Myself?...lol Dude, I wasn't battling, remember? I was taking pictures of the entire tournament since the beginning. The only time I played was WAY before the start when you, Sky, Bluezee, and some other kids were already there, and I was testing out a similar combo Sky was using.
god, part 4 was so embarrassing. =( my sliding shoot and bank sucked.... speaking of which, i will have my vid footage up VERY SOON... upload's taking uber long

Pretty Pretty Big Picture (Click to View)

I'm pretty certain that was Otsu (Lighting LDrago) vs Joseph (MF-H Hell KerbecBD145SD)
You're right. I went through my pictures and found that that was the second Round Robin you guys had to do when you all tied with each other the first one.
Jon, why did you pick CS instead of EWD? You would have won.
...
I Don't Know...

I told you EWD, but nooo you had to listen to Bluezee. CS can't re stabilize itself like WD can.

finally finished uploading. i got clips of people for dani... i wanted to get more battle vids but i was too busy judging. -.-
Alright, I haven't watched your video yet, but as soon as it started I caught the song you used paused it and I will now conduct the rest of this post in caps:
I LOVE THIS VIDEO BECAUSE THE SONG YOU CHOSE GOES WITH THE TITLE OF THE EVENT HAND IN HAND!!!!
This looked like a Awesome Tournament.
I knew u would cye. lol. it's the only reason y i put the song in the vid. XD

EWD would have got him KOed much easier. I told him to use it in hopes that he would think to use it in attack mode to kill the opposing Kerbecs. Guess not.
BD145 in boost mode rarely KO's a heavy blade from the center. JonnB's BD145 would have absorbed it, even if it did.
Wow, I just went to assemble my Beyblades for a Rose Gold face and I'm missing all of the following:

1 recolour RF
1 L LDrago SW145MF
1 EWD

I had them all before this tournament. I'm officially resigning from competing in New York tournaments. I might just let Cye host tournaments from now on since people seem to love taking advantage of me.
What the hec is wrong with people?! Im getting tired of hearing about things being stolen at these tournaments.
First the stadium (from what I've heard), and now your parts? Including Sky Prince, that's just carping low. Act your age, people. These guys are being nice by letting you borrow parts and using their stuff; IT ISN'T FREE. Please return anything you may have borrowed, or if any parent is reading this, implore your child to return anything s/he had borrowed from another player. This is just damn pathetic.
i second that.... i payed good money for my killer beafowl and to lose my EWD is like losing 50% of what i spent... =/ even though it may not be the best part, money is money....
