As requested by several members - Yet another Plastic's tournament!

Unfortunately due to the lack of people that actually own HMS and how expensive they are there won't be a HMS tournament on this day!
(Several of mine broke at the last one so I don't have much to lend out!)

Specific info:

When: 21st of January 11.30am until it finishes.
If you do turn up after 12.00 there is a chance you won't be able to take part.

Where: Regents Park Bandstand

Directions to the bandstand:
If you don't know this by now you can find the directions here -
http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-March-of...ark--28221

Map of the Park -

Tournament Format: Plastic Beyblades.
(Event Guide - http://worldbeyblade.org/eventguide.pdf )

This is the WBO universal format rule book (READ IT)-
http://worldbeyblade.org/universalrules.pdf

Prices:
The regular price is £3
Or free If you have purchased a Blader Passport.
Which is available to buy on the day for £6

Prizes
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any prizes for this tournament and beypoints won't be given so the top three will have the choice of one of these Face Boosters-
Remember if a parent/s is bringing you to the tournament let them know that the times may vary and the weather will most likely be cold, so wrap up warm!

Don't have Plastics?
I'll be able to do a parts draft for around 15 people.
It will cost £5 and you get a whole Plastic Beyblade with Ripcord and Launcher.

How ironic it should be that my first is a plastics tournament.
Sign me up.

Ironic? More like plain awesome.

The only problem is now you will be forever disappointed by competitive MFB.

As usual, I hope you guys will try to note some of the major combinations, and I want to hear the combinations used by everyone who places Wink

I recently took stock of two MFB's (Due to recently trying blading out again) I must say I much prefer the feel of the old plastic series.

im coming been a long time since i played with plastics
un sighn me plz soz ronge one
Shame this is in London I would of popped out to see what was going on.
Sorry about this, something literally crept up on me today (Friday) and I need the weekend to sort it out, so I can't attend on saturday! could you unsign me please?
I'll try and make it to the next nearest tourney.
wanwan that's a shame dude, hope to see you at the next one!

Anyway looking forward to today feels like forever since the last tournament (even though it was just over a month ago haha!) I should be there for 11:00-11:20.

See you all soon.
Just remember to note down notable combos! Tongue_out

Hope everyone has an awesome time :3
i will be a little bit late :s
A slightly late updating of what happened today but I've only just managed to get on the computer haha.

Anyway had a really good day, Plastics tournaments never disappoint. Didn't really use anything other than my Zombie combo's -

AR: Twin Horn
WD: Wide Survivor
SG: Neo Left SG (Double Bearing Version)/SG: Left SG (Bearing Version 2)
SP: Defense Ring
BB:Customize Bearing Base/BB: Customize Grip Base

I was going to use the Attack combo Deikailo used at 'Plastics Not Dead' but my Great Dragon AR chipped while doing some practicing Crying

Anyway the results -

1st - Blitz
2nd - LeeDraciel
3rd - ThePokeBlader

In the finals Lee used the Wolborg 4 combo he used last time &
AR: Tiger Defense
WD: 10 Balance?
BB: Semi-Flat Base

ThePokeBlader used -

AR: Turtle Survivor / AR: War Lion
WD: 10 Wide? / 10 Heavy?
SG: Neo Left SG (Double Bearing Version) / SG: Left SG (Bearing Version 2)
SP: Defense Ring
BB: Customize Bearing Base / BB: Defense Grip Base 2

Another Combo that did quite well that Saint was using was -

AR: Smash Turtle
WD: 10 Heavy?
SG: Neo Right SG
BB: SG Metal Ball Base (4 balls?)

And as usual Driger V2's did well too.

Anyway thanks to everyone that came, hope you all had a good time!

Credits and Faces owed:
Good choice of zombies, by the way, Blitz.
What was the matchup between you and LeeDraciel in terms of combo's? Did your Customise Bearing Base combination go up against his Wolborg 4 thing at all?

Pokeblader should have just used war lion over turtle survivor, the latter is pretty bleh.

Unsurprised Saints combo worked well. Standard weight based defender (and a very heavy one at that), and Smash Turtle is supposed to work really well for that, though I've personally never liked it.

Congratulations, everyone, and thanks for the info, Blitz :3

Oh, as for the attack combo that broke, what spin direction were you using? Deikailo has mentioned to me it does have breakage issues, so yeah. That said, if you have CGB, I'm told (and will verify tomorrow) that its tip is hugely underrated, so you could make some use of that, though against LeeDraciel's wolborg 4 combo you'd be in trouble, that thing (with wide defence) is the strongest defender I've seen.
That was one of my favorite tournaments really awesome Wink and Blue please
Awesome day as usuall guys, looking forward to the next one already
Can i have a Red face booster please
i had fun too can't wait for the next one Smile

I was using it in Left Spin, the break was only a slight chip off one of the 'Dragon Heads' but won't be using it anymore don't want to completely ruin it haha. I would of probably stuck with Zombies against most people, safe choice haha.
You dig the [Image: FaceBoosterIconYellow.png] out of the Face Booster Closet, just barely avoiding an avalanche after first opening it, and fidget with the top - by now, you should certainly know how to open it, but instead, you huck it at a wall, and out pops...
