Hi, I'm writing a new story, here it is:
Chapter 1: A Weird Day... Or Night

As I wake, I see a flash of light, but there is no light in my room. I stand up but it feels like a dream, I hear a growling coming from outside of my window. Strange scenarios flash through my thoughts, what's out there? I take a look... "A GIRL" I whisper loudly. The girl is stabbing silhouettes with throwing knives. I slowly walk back to my bed,and step some kind of stone tablet. Suddenly, I'm staring at myself as my body falls to my bed. I lay sprawled out on a bed of total white, a voice calls out to me "Boy, destroy the Nightmares". I regain consciousness and find the stone tablet in my hand. Little did I know, that rock will change my life forever. The tablet began to glow, I moved to the window without my control. Oh crud, I'm falling out of my window with some stupid rock in my hand and, I hope this is a dream. "AAAAAAHHHH" I try to yell, but no words came out. So, I'm falling with now idea how to survive this,(Did I mention I live in an apartment?) and then that stone thing transforms into a four-foot long katana and I'm standing on the ground. "Wow, that was wild," says a voice to my right. Then this thing that looks like a shadow claws at me and I say "Kai". The giant sword is on Fire and my reflex is to light that monster like a match on a candle, which I do, and dark colored goo comes out of him. "H-H-How did you... You aren't one of them. Are you?" the girl mutters."How should I know?" " You are a warrior chosen to kill nightmares" then I say "Was that glob of Whatever-that-was a nightmare?"I ask. "Uh-Huh," she mumbles."Well, my names Kobura,"I say confidently, which is odd because of the situation."Wait, whats on your stone? My name is Makoto," she blurts out.

The chapters need to be longer and you need more description. Just some advice.

From what I could make out, a boy acquires a mystical stone tablet in his dreams, and it carried over into the real world. It's up to him to use the tablet to fight off the nightmares.

A Nightmare is a beast of darkness that, if given enough power from stealing your dreams it could kill you in your sleep. And there will be Large swords that destroy stuff.

He woke up and the tablet was on his stomach, but he didn't know it and it fell on the floor.

Um... Makoto is a Japanese name, but Zeo isn't. i suggest that you change Zeo to an actual Japanese name, like Kyorei, or change Makoto to an English name, like Marianne.
