Who thought I'd be doing another one of these after a mere 9 months, eh?

This thread is for people to express their views on the Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G season as a whole. Speak out with anything; your favourite scenes, your least favourite scenes, characters you love, characters that made you cringe! There are 45 episodes available, so there's plenty of variety to be spoken here!

Personally, I had mixed emotions on the season. In some aspects, I loved the season; it had good and interesting character designs, a fair storyline, some unexpected appearances (The Garcias?!) and a half decent finale. I can't deny, the season felt rushed as a whole, mainly due to there only being 45 episodes to use. The character development was a bit strange; one second, Zero was nowhere near strong enough to beat Kira, next he magically beats him (Hello Plot Armour).

Your views, everyone?
So is it confirmed there's only 38 episodes?
Not exactly. There's just not a continuation of the season in the currently forseeable future. Really, I should've stated that this thread was to evaluate the episodes that were broadcast on TV Tokyo, and not any that may appear after.
I honestly want the 30-minute episodes back. With just 15-minute episodes now, everything is literally straight to the point and I find it a little "inappropriate" because there isn't any off-topicness. Then again, there would be more work for the cast and artists.

Storyline, it was great but with the return of the Garcias, it was simply mixed feelings for me. I honestly didn't want them to make a comeback because first of all, they aren't even doing most of the work (Except for making those DNA beys and training bladers)
Well most of the DNA Bladers were ABSOLUTELY boring, if anyone thinks their interesting then I'd like to know why.

EDIT: Only Kira and Iwayama were cool.

EDIT 2: We should be lucky with 12 min episodes, BakuTech only lasts 5 mins.
The character designs were really great in my opinion, making everyone really 'unique', but a lot of the roles seemed as if they were really just meant to replace someone from the first seasons of Metal Fight Beyblade. For instance, Tsubasa is obviously just replacing Ryuusei Hagane, and Madoka is clearly replacing Hikaru in the WBBA, although there is simply less of an age difference.

Lack of character development cannot be blamed : somehow, it must have been known that Zero-G would only last a few episodes, and that all of them would only be fifteen-minutes long, so the same thing happened to the Zero-G characters as what happened to Cycnus and the others in 4D.

Cycnus was actually interesting along with Hercshel and Kaiser (Or how it's spelt) but they don't appear much and I usually feel they only focus on Titi or Kenta and obviously Ginga. DNA bladers designs are OK but it's just they don't serve any interesting roles, just fillers in DNA to show the Gracy's have members.
Yeah, I agree about the character designs.
I fell like it is missing out on what it could be, but being shorter doesn't help.
But, this is the first season I have kept up with!

They were interesting but they showed up for two seconds and then we never heard of them again; that is what I meant.
The guy with Bandid Genbull (forgot his name, sorry) should've done at least a bit better in my opinion. He could' e made a really decent rival to Sakyo, but oh well.
What I liked about Zero-G was the graphics. If you watched the episodes closely, it would appear that Zero-G (especially the battle scenes) have a higher quality, and more.. graphic.
This season is cool to me. I mean that I like the fact that the stadiums are able to sway, but here are a few things I noticed.
-The character, even the main group, are not so focus on much. I felt like they could have put more than that in,for instance, the DNA bladers.
-The special move. Every season the special move is so well designed. This time I felt like the ran out of idea for a move. They keep the bey loooping around the stadium to call it a move.
- the Types are not in too much care,(mostly just for Zero)
- Sometimes I felt they lack of Bey spirit somehow

I agree with this, and although it has episodes less than the previous MFB seasons, though it is better than 4D in my opinion. Episodes weren't boring like 4D's ... At least there was some exciting episodes in Zero-G, like episode 13 and 14.

So as a series overall, it was just fine. 8/10 ~
Almost everything I enjoyed and loved! The character's seem more mature to me which is a nice turn of events, there are a couple of things though that I'm not happy about is that it's ending so soon... I wish it was way longer and that it followed the manga, also I would've loved to see the rest of the MFB as they are 7 years later I don't know I just love that time jump in animes and to see how the characters have changed and grown
So that's it? Nothing really happened in this series..., although I enjoyed the new beyblades, I really wanted it to continue. Hopefully it will continue with a second season with all new Zero G beyblades.
Character development was definitely a problem, and should they continue the series at all in the future, I think that needs to be worked on. The most we really saw was from 3 to 5, where we saw Zero's training pay off.

The plot was really "off" as well. There wasn't a solid plotline, and Neo Battle Bladers didn't seem very organised and confused some viewers. That needs working on if they continue at all.
I have no opinion as positive for this series, but what I can not deny is that the series had an excellent animation and a good character design, and drawing quality was always amazing, never lowered the quality. But the plot and the characters themselves, not really interested me.
I never liked the protagonist, the development was very weak, and boring and after everything went very quickly. And the antagonists, I do not awakened any expectations ... Neither Garcia nor that such Kira Hayama ... The design of Kira, and that giant green hair (I forgot his name) did not like ... I think that Takafumi-sensei ran out of imagination, after creating Damian and Rago.

Sorry, my English is bad, but did not want to write a simple "I did not like".
My Review will not be amazingly reliable as I've only seen the first 10 episodes and read up on what happens later.

I felt Zero-G had generally a better cast than the Metal Saga as we saw Zero progress as a Character (loses to his rival and trains to beat him) as opposed to Ginga who showed up as a amazingly skilled Blader hence why I think he's a better, more relatable protagonist we also had a better female Protagonist I mean comparing Ren to Hikaru as she didn't give up after a certain match. The older characters having new roles was very good too such as Benkei being pretty much a coach to the bladers and Tsubasa being the chairman and Madoka being the assistant.

Nothing much else to say other than I liked the fact the Bandid Genbull guy is a obvious homage to Max Tate Smile and the fact I dislike that some older Metal Fight Beyblade characters haven't showed up yet a annoying team like the Garcias get to show up in this storyline.

Yes but at least Hikaru can beat an official character, Kenta (though he wasn't as strong that time) and Ren... dopey ameteurs and... WAIT THAT'S IT? I'm so surprised...
That's a good point. Ren had potential as a female protagonist, but she only ever won two on-screen battles, and those were against random generic Beys and weird Bladers from the street. They could've put more emphasis on her. Same goes for Eight; he won once (against another generic Bey), and assisted in a few Synchrom combos.
Actually I didnt enjoy the Zero G series as whole but I did enjoy the beys and the Zero G gimmick but I felt the manga had a better storyline such as kaito defeating and stealing shinobu beyblade and showing a little bit of kira backround instead of battle after battle even though it was less realistic. Also I expected more of kaito and ren considering ren had amazing complex bey but couldnt beat any of the main characters and im not sure kaito won any battles without synchrome and felt he relied to much on synchrome to win his battles unlike the manga and the same goes for eight who did nithing but helped in synchrome battles who also was apart of the main cast.
Personally I liked the new beys/ stadiums, they gave the game a neat new feature. The show wasn't too bad, in my opinion. I liked how they brought some old characters in, but I would have loved to see Kyoya and a Zero-G Leone! Anyone else wonder if there will be a season 2 or another hiatus for Beyblade, like plastic gen.?
It wasn't the best; it wasn't the worst. Like almost everyone else said, it was too short and to the point to allow any character development. And then most characters that weren't "on top" of their Synchrom got written off. For example, Eight had only two (I think) individual battles. Also the "third wheels" with no Synchrom didn't really get much time either. They could have made Ren get into the tournament instead of Captain Arrow, who just came out of nowhere.

I thought it was cool how Genjuro payed homage to Max from the original series, but he and the other minor DNA members got the Nemesis Bladers treatment: They appear a few times, lose, and then no one know what happens to them next.

Another weird thing is that to me, the characters seemed somehow "weaker" then their MFB and Plastics counterparts. Maybe it's because they've only had one season to prove themselves, but I'm not asking for a repeat of Nemesis.
I feel like Zero-G had so much potential. But they didn't do anything with it really. It was nice seeing the older characters but it ended to quickly, hope to see a new season maybe.
