Marvel Comics

I was looking through the comic threads and realized that we don't have a Marvel comic thread. We have a DC thread but not a Marvel one. So I decided to make this.

Spiderman and Fantastic 4, Nova(yes there is a nova comic) X-Men, and Avengers.

Discuss different Marvel comics.

Because they are allowed to, because this is an off-topic post?

Anyways, if there are no other threads like this, than this probably won't be closed.

Marvel Comics are waaaay better than DC Comics tbh.
Well, naturally Marvel is better, It's just like how Toxin is the best symbiote(and all who deny will have to deal with Hulk).
I like both but Marvel Comics are way better than DC, DC has better heroes but Marvel has a better comics and a better story behind each character.
True, but they make Superman god-like, so I didn't read them as much.
At the same time (not saying DC is better, I enjoy Marvel more), you have to remember the background that Superman was created in. He ushered in the age of superhero comics with his tales, and all of his powers. Kryptonite was finally introduced because the initial rush of awe in Superman defeating Lex Luthor and co. gave way to "ok we get it he's OP as hell what's new" and interest went down.

That's true for most successful comic books during the Gold and early Silver Age really. Only in the late Silver Age and onwards did writers start to recognize the need for further complexity in their characters, leading to bigger and more frequent retcons of backstories, reprints, new series and overall a greater sense of depth and association for the readers.
Superman is a awesome character, the only problem with him is that he can be defeated with a small green pebble which Batman holds. I don't get something also, 1. If Batman holds it with him how can Superman get near him at all. Marvel on the other hand, there superheroes weaknesses and there villains weaknesses make better sense. Like for example Bane's weakness is if his cords get broken cause that is what gives him his powers.
Bane is DC dude, but you're right that Marvel's weaknesses are more natural, Like Wolverine is to magnetism and electricity as Hawkeye is to a lost quiver, and Venom is to sound as Spiderman is to spider sense bypassing.
I love Marvel, my uncle has a big box of comics and he was a Marvel fan. My favorites are classic Deadpool and Spider-Man . Does anyone remember that Death Battles episode where Spidey fought Batman? I really need to catch up to the main Spider-Man story, isn't it in the Super Civil War arc?
I love Deadpool, just look at my picture.. I went to the Comic Con in Pittsburgh and got a Deapool drawing that is really good signed by the guy who drew it.

There is also a Marvel.com, most people don't know that there is a website for Marvel but there is. There is also a website for the comics too. They got all the heroes, even some I can't remember but if I had to name all the character I could probably name a ton.
