—Appearance—
Densetsu(1): Chelzar is a medium height boy with dark skin and bright orange hair that flows behind him almost akin to rengoku, replicating his fiery drive for battle. Similarly to Lean Walhalla, Chelzar has numerous facial markings that stem from different points of his outer face, though unlike Lean’s they are fashioned into a flame like design. He also has a crimson cross marking on his forehead right above his nose. He also has dark brown eyes.
His upper body consists of an orange undershirt with short sleeves with a flame logo grafted on the front, along with the sleeves being red. Over the shirt he wears a brown shoulder gauntlet on his left shoulder with a red flame logo imprinted into it, a darker brown strap coming from it that cuts across the flame logo. Over this, he wears a purple athletic jacket with a hood and no pockets, often keeping it unzipped in order to allow for more room to move his arms. The jacket has an orange “C” located on the left side close to his chest. He also has a glove like Valt, albeit purple with orange in color, on his left hand.
His lower body consists of black pants and brown combat boots with dark brown straps on them, along with his pants ending in orange cuffs, replicating magma.
When Chelzar enters his “Blaze State”, his eyes glow orange, and his hair begins to flow behind him and glow, flickering like flames. When Chelzar taps into his rage, his eyes become purple instead.
Densetsu(2): After suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of Phi, resulting in Chimera’s destruction, Chelzar, armed with his new Doom Chimera, undertakes a massive wardrobe change.
His undershirt is replaced by a black shirt with a crimson line running down the center from the neck to waist, with the bottom portion also taking this crimson color. While he maintains his black pants, it comes with the addition of a black belt with a gold belt buckle, contrasting with the black coloration of the under layer. His shoes are also replaced by black and magenta sneakers with white soles.
Over his undershirt, Chelzar wears a magenta jacket of a curved design, and also having crimson edges. The shoulder gauntlet is replaced by two silver spiked pauldrons that add to the menacing appearance. He also has black lower arm cuffs with brown edges, along with violet fingerless gloves on both hands.
His blaze state is also altered, this time also having his markings glow and emit orange flames that flow from him almost mimicking a mane of fire, his hair going completely behind him and taking on a more flame like flow, along with his eyes going purple in color as well.
—Personality—
-Pre Rage: Chelzar starts off as a determined individual, using blading as a way to prove himself to others. Hardworking and by far one of the most focused bladers, he firmly believes in strategy and that winning is the greatest way to prove his strength, often dismissing the fun aspect of beyblade in favor of a more uptight version. Albeit taking battles seriously, Chelzar is generally friendly towards others, and does believe that rivalry is a good way to grow stronger.
Chelzar upholds a code of honor, believing bladers should give it their all in battle, and will immediately become frustrated or will outright refuse to battle someone who is not giving it their all, believing it as “not worth the struggle.” This is shown from his negative reaction towards Batal Hiro after he fell into a state of discouragement, motivating him through some light taunting to motivate him to face him with all he’s got. Chelzar also has a severe hatred of underhanded tactics, leading to numerous conflicts with Lukas Grant, which leads to escalation.
Chelzar’s fatal flaw, however is his ambition. His goal is to prove he is the strongest and his way of blading is the best way to become stronger, but as he progresses and Batal catches up, he begins losing sight of his goal, delving into a more unsavory form of power.
-Rage: After feeling a surge of power during a battle royale with Lui and Free, in which he managed to defeat them by utilizing Obsidian’s freespinning ring to nullify their attacks, Chelzar slowly begins to become obsessed with harnessing this power, showing a drastic personality change. He is now more cold and distant, devoting his time to harnessing this power for himself, pushing Chimera past its limits and slowly corrupting his resonance while doing so. He is also more easily angered, falling prone to taunting that he would not have been bothered by before. It is in this state that Chelzar adopts something akin to Batal, in which he begins disregarding the way he achieves victory as long as he gains it, though takes it a step further. He becomes increasingly reckless and semi sadistic in battle, aiming to utterly crush his opponent to prove his strength to the world, and begins to destroy beys due to this. While Ladon’s destruction was unintentional and was more due to the heat of battle and Chelzar’s anger at Lukas for attempting to cheat, it is shown he has no regard for destroying the bey, actively demeaning Lukas and calling him a “Worthless excuse of a blader”. It is also noted, however, that Chelzar’s rage has a play into his acts of destroying beys, as while initially going for a burst against Aiga in the semi finals of the Legend Festival, after Aiga managed to burst Chimera, Chelzar actively sought to destroy Achilles during the battle, a task that he accomplished. He also intentionally destroyed Heroic Bellerophon in order to put Batal in his place, and tried to destroy Valt’s Mighty Valkyrie in the Legend Festival Finals, though failed to do so.
When Chelzar lost to Valt, he becomes extremely angry, sending him off balance and making him far more rage prone, also reflecting on how Chimera suffered damage during the battle as well. This is something Phi exploits, using Chelzar’s rage to make him use the damaged Raze Layer, resulting in Chimera’s destruction.
-Harbinger of Doom: Chelzar’s rage completely overtakes him, backed by a desire of vengeance. His resonance has become corrupted, stemming from his desire to take his revenge on Valt and Phi, as well as having a warped darker version of his initial goal. It is also noted that after Phi destroyed Chimera, Chelzar acted with anger instead of despair, stating that he would have his revenge and prove that he was the strongest, no matter how many bladers he had to crush to get there. Chelzar takes on an incredibly sadistic side, having no regard for others at all and losing any friendly behavior he once had; this is shown when Chelzar destroys the beys of his friends to test out Doom Chimera’s power, betraying them in his desire for vengeance. He targets powerful bladers to rile up the other Legends, specifically Valt and Phi, destroying Lui’s Tyrant Longinus and severely damaging Free’s Soul Fafnir, and targeting Shu Kurenai and Drum Koryu after getting vengeance on Phi to try to shatter Valt’s confidence and rile him up further.
His arrogance also skyrockets, believing himself as the only blader with the right to be the champion, also taking some attributes from Phi and Hearts, as shown when he actively predicts the outcome of his battle with Lui after Lui scores an over finish off of him.
Deep down, however, Chelzar regrets what he is doing(Despite not admitting/showing it), though even with Valt attempting to reach him, he believes himself too far gone, and refuses the idea of redemption, committing himself fully to his new path even after losing the final major battle of the season to Batal and Omega Bellerophon.

—Special Moves—
(Savior Perseus(Flashbacks Only))
Savior Crash: Using the Bearing’ driver to prevent a stadium out, it uses the momentum gained to charge back at the opponent, using the awakened blades of the Savior Blade to launch a devastating counter.
(Raze/Pyro/Obsidian Chimera(Shared):
Ember Break: Using the POM ring surrounding the Ember Driver’s tip, Chimera will drift for a counter, attacking for an impact based strike.
Ember Shoot: Chimera will use its driver’s shape and a tilted angle to unleash a Rush Shoot like pattern, barraging the opponent with intense strikes.
True Ember Break: With the +Eb attachment granting metal on the ring, Chimera generates even more friction than before for a stronger version of Ember Break.
Ravage Guard: Using +Ravage in defense mode, Chimera will use the six blades’ smooth shape to repel the opponent’s attacks.
Ravage Impact: Using +Ravage in attack mode, Chimera will use the reversed points on the casing in order to land a recoil based strike akin to Batal Hiro’s Piercing Blow.
(Raze)
Raze Claw: Chimera charges the opponent, using the rubber located on the under-layer of the bey to launch a devastating friction based slash attack. This is similar to Valt Aoi’s Mighty Sword.
Razing Rampage: Chimera will use the bound blades to bounce itself off the wall, launching a devastating flurry of attacks that are further propelled by the spring loaded blades. This is similar to Valt Aoi’s Mighty Bound.
Raze Spin: When the Bound Blades are retracted, Chimera will use the rubber on the under-layer in order to drain an opposite spinning opponent’s spinpower. This is similar to the spin steal gimmick used by Fafnir.
Raze Breaking Press: After Knocking the opponent into the air and towards the wall, Chimera will drift to accelerate towards them, launching a devastating pincer attack with the wall, using the bound blades or rubber to further press the opponent into the wall for devastating damage. This move was used to destroy Aiga’s Ultra Achilles, and almost destroyed Valt’s Mighty Valkyrie.
(Pyro)
Pyro Recoil: After clicking, Chimera will use the blade extension gimmick to unleash a singular Variant Wall of its own, sending the opponent flying and possibly bursting them.
Pyro Vortex: After the blades have been extended, Chimera will use the aerodynamic Garuda like portions to generate an updraft, forming a tornado around itself to increase overall damage and defense.
Pyro Impact Press: Pyro’s version of Raze Breaking Press, although instead, Pyro uses the extended blades’ compression aspect to crush the opponent with the wall. If Pyro hasn’t clicked yet, it can activate the gimmick on contact, making the blow even more devastating. This move was used to unintentionally destroy Lukas’s Jinx Ladon.
(Obsidian)
Obsidian Parry: Chimera uses the Obsidian Layer’s freespinning ring to reflect attacks.
Obsidian Bash: Tilting downwards, Chimera uses the recoil defense points in conjunction with the freespinning ring to scoop up the opponent, bashing them with the contact points for heavy damage.
Obsidian Grinding Press: Obsidian’s version of Raze Breaking Press, although Obsidian prolongs the attack, trapping the opponent with the freespinning ring while constantly moving with them and pressing them against the wall, tearing the opponent’s bey apart before bursting or breaking them. This move was used to destroy Batal’s Heroic Bellerophon.
(Doom)
Rampage Shoot: In Rampage’s attack mode, it will use the rubber on the driver to launch a Rush Shoot like formation for a devastating barrage.
Rampage Break: In Rampage’s balance mode, it will use the tip to tilt against the stadium slope and kick off the stadium for a powerful impact based attack.
Doom Claw: In Doom’s initial state, Chimera will use the three jagged bound blades in order to slam into the opponent for a slash attack, purposely forcing them to compress and then spring forward, unleashing devastating recoil. Often used in conjunction with Doom Recoil. This move destroyed Lui’s Tyrant Longinus.
Doom Rampage: Doom uses the initial state’s bound blades to spring off the wall for a powerful attack that can be chained.
Doom Recoil: When Doom clicks into its second state, it unleashes the under-layer’s Pyro like blades to slam the opponent back, and can be used in conjunction with Doom Claw for devastating damage. This move destroyed Free’s Soul Fafnir’s Driver.
Doom Vortex: Chimera uses the now extended Pyro like blades to make an updraft to create a vortex of wind that increases attack and defense.
Doom Parry: When Chimera enters its final state, it uses the freespinning blades to reflect the opponent’s attacks.
Doom Bash: Chimera tilts, using the now locked bound blades to bash the opponent’s bey for devastating recoil.
Oblivion Parry: Chimera uses the shock absorption on the -Prevail Super Frame to absorb the opponent’s attacks.
Oblivion Bound: Chimera uses the shock absorption on the -Prevail Super Frame to rebound off the wall, coming in handy if its tilted while about to bound and offering an alternative to Doom Rampage.
Doom Breaking Press: Upgraded Raze Breaking Press. This move nearly destroyed Shu Kurenai’s Valor Spriggan, albeit it managed to survive the attack, only getting knocked out of the stadium due to its gimmicks.
Doom Impact Press: Upgraded Pyro Impact Press, although focusing on the second more devastating option. This move destroyed Phi’s Despair Phoenix.
Doom Grinding Press: Upgraded Obsidian Grinding Press. This move cracked Batal’s Omega Bellerophon during the final battle, albeit failed to break it.
Diving Infernal Oblivion: Chimera, after being knocked into the air, will concentrate its power downwards to launch a devastating impact based aerial attack. If Chimera is in its first state, it can use the Pyro activation to send itself back into the air for a second attack akin to Bell’s Double Dangerous Dive.
