MFB: Limited :: Primer, Random Thoughts, and Q&A Thread!

I don't think that's worth sacrificing the LAD.

You forgot that Phoenic combo TWT.

E230 and BD145 are around in standard though Wink

Post them please.
Well if you insist.

Oh right! Thanks.

I may remove CS from some of the lighter combos, becuase it's still viable IMO.
Honestly, IMO, I don't think Pegasis would cut it. It made it on my list before, but I believe they're just more better options.
Do you think you'd be able to provide tests? I would, but I'm busy ATM.

Omega is OP, haha. Try against a more fair limited attacker lol.
Would using Dark Knight____ be okay for replacing Omega?
Left spin attackers are a lot different from right spin.

Try Shinobi Wyvang.
@TWT If you're going to put TR145 on there for Meteo, stick ED145 on too; from my tests it's got equal, if not greater LAD.

Though I also really disagree with R145 on Meteo; it's nice and heavy but the LAD loss really stinks.

I haven't ever been terribly impressed with Pegasus, so IMO it needs to get booted, especially with Omega still being around for the moment. Once Omega's gone it maaaaybe can come back, but I still don't like it. It feels like it weighs 20g lol, it just seems really light and recoily when I use it. Of course, I spend a lot of time with Standard, so I suppose everything under 50g feels light XD
If it has equal LAD as TR145, why add it? It has more recoil that TR145.

MF-H Omega Uranus CH120R2F vs MF-H Scythe GB145RSF

Scythe: 8/20 (7 OS'S, 1 KO'S)
Omega win %: 60.00%

Thanks for the tests! While I do agree comparison to a weaker metal wheel would be beneficial, 8:12 agaisnt an average defender isn't so good, haha. And Omega getting twice as many KO's as Pegasis, I'm not sure it would be up there so long.

Like I said earlier, omega isn't the best wheel to compare to, it's Over Powered.

Thanks for the tests Ryûzaki. I vote to have it taken off, for now, anyone else have opinions or tests?
It only lost 1 more battle then wyvang.

See? It doesn't work as well on 85.
That can't really be gathered from that, haha. They seem kind of equal to me, 85 and CH120.

They were going up against two different opponents and it was by one win.
Oh I just noticed that... But still, scythe is stronger than earth anyways.

That is not true. Not all Scythe's are stronger then Earth...
Beat and Cosmic have no business being on this list, they are well below all the other wheels listed...

Mould 4 and 2 are. I assumed you used a good mold.
Updated my draft with that info Time. I wasn't sure how they where doing in play, hah.

EDIT: Yeah I did. You could have stated that those moulds before posting that, hah.

It was getting buried again:

I don't know if this has ever been discussed, but after continuously playing with various Scythe combos, I came across this one combo that was able to perform relatively well against Scythe. Anyways, I introduce to you all ...

Libra 230TB

I've worked quite hard on these testings, hopefully they're useful.

I'd also rather not work on the concept, nor the part choice, because of this not having its own thread. However, I will bring up both the launch I use for Libra and Scythe, update you on all the conditions of the parts, as well as why I chose TB, over tips like D, or MB. Lets begin!

The Conditions:

Why TB?:

My Thoughts On The Results:
(May. 21, 2014  11:59 PM)DRAGON KING Wrote: If it has equal LAD as TR145, why add it? It has more recoil that TR145.

I have 2 problems with this: First, it has equal or better LAD. In some cases it was equal, in others it seemed to outshine TR145 clearly. I'll see if I can find the tests I did, and probably re-do them anyways. Second, I disagree that it has more recoil than TR145. In fact, I'd say it has far better defense/less recoil than TR145 does. The free-spinning gimmick allows it to simply absorb blows, similar to how Scythe's PC frame helps take hits on Scythe Uranus 85RS. TR145 just takes the hits without spinning much (unless it hits a roller, in which case a little bit is absorbed, but not as much as ED145).

I'll see about testing to officially confirm this, but I am very busy ATM with end-of-the-year tests for school (bleh, standardized tests Uncertain)
Cake, Instead of ED145, might I reccomend WD145. Because ED145 doesn't really offer Meteo the weight distribution that TR145 does.

-Midnight, do you have any test requests? I'd be happy to do them. And please include your Sythe and Libra molds, thank you.

Based on -Midnight's most recenttests and mine, I kind of wonder why Libra isn't used for Stamina. In my testings it went 10-10 with Burn and beat out Duo.
