About the Beypointer, I think I can read "Point Ranking Battle" and "item" further in the description from the catalogue scan. It might just keep record of your battles ...

Oh Jesus we're all idiots. The Pegasus and Bull starters come with the Beypointer. The others don't. That's why those two are more expensive.

Ideal wants 19.99 for the starters with the Beypointer and 14.99 for the starters without. This seems pretty dire to me. There's no way those starters are retailing anywhere close to $20.

Hmm...weak dollar, increasing metal prices, increased shipping costs may account for the markup, although a 20 dollar starter does sound insane. The fact that this is full metal may cause prices to go up though.

In my school there are classes for ppl who wanna learn japaneese and eventhough i never went to one i know the teacher can speak japaneese so maybe she can probably read the language as well, if i can get her to read it we can have a pretty clear idea of what we are getting

$10 to $15 is quite a huge markup too.

Anyway, the whole point is, they are one of the only few sites doing it, which is WHY they can put the price way up.

Well, it will be bad for them.

This is the only active Beyblade community right now. If we decide to boycott them, it will affect them heavily.

I'm sure that there'll be many users who don't go forums. We probably don't represent enough of a profit margin that they care about reducing prices.

Isn't the average markup to make a profit somewhere around 50-80% at the least?
