i can't go to long island i live in new jersey and long island is on the other side of new york so i am not able to go the farthest i can go is probably Queens or Brooklyn
hey, i had a great location for a manhattan tournament (and i might inform Cye about this too). You guys know the Toys R Us in Manhattan? I hear that Toys R US holds tournaments once in a while. Maybe if we talk to the Manager of the Toys R Us in Manhattan, maybe we can negotiate to hold the tournament there (but that means SOME OF YOU will have you will have to watch ur language throughout the tournament). it's a mutual relationship. We give them publicity (in which little children will see the beyblades and will want to buy some) and in return we get a place to hold the tournament. And if they want money.... we'll just hold the tournament elsewhere.... anyways.... that was just a thought. =)
Queens and Brooklyn are both located on Long Island. >_>

Sky for some reason I dont believe that they would agree to that.
they might they get free publicity from it kids would enjoy watching them and decide to buy them so the tournament will actually help Toys R Us gain money and i actually didn't know brooklyn and queens were both located on long island i went to brookyn and my brother said long island is on the other side of new york
wow i am stupid i actually didn't know weens and brooklyn were in long island i thought it was upstate i am stupid man

well, there is a chance they will... i repeat, "Toys R Us holds tournaments once in a while" (specifically Beyblade tournaments). also, last time i went to Toys R Us in Manhattan, i saw A LOT kids buying beyblades. Wink
I believe MorningMess tried asking that Toys 'R' Us precisely, and they of course refused.

Also, most Toys 'R' Us are not organised at all with their 'tournaments' ... Employees always learn about them the day they are supposed to take place, so there is really no publicity, plus kids cannot choose what they want to use to battle. And of course there is the age limit.

hmmm, those are very good points.... haha, well, i got nothin... anyone wanna pitch any indoor (and free) locations to hold a tournament?
IMO, I think New York should have a little break from having tournaments for the rest of the year. Maybe during Spring Break or at the end of the school year is a good time to host another tournament.

well, it depends. Plus, you would at least be able to attend as many tournaments then as possible if they are successful.
but wouldn't it be good to attend a lot of tournaments in the winter as well as the spring & summer? as they say, so much to do, so little time. a year passes by pretty fast. T.T

i'm making an event for and official/unofficial freeplay tournament. It's going to be at 590 madison ave. (indoors obviously). i wanna try out this place to see if we might be able to host a tournament there. I need some people who will definitely attend. it's going to be on December 4th. who will definitely be able to make it? it's a saturday.
ok, so for people who didn't know, i'm holding a free play and a just for fun tournament Dec. 4th AT Heckscher playground in CENTRAL PARK at 2pm. BRING YOUR STADIUMS! I wanna play with other people before it starts getting uber cold and snows. And in case you don't know, it was the same place as this tournament. no entry fee needed however bringing your money is not a bad idea. xstorm bladerx is selling some plastic beyblades (if anyone's interested). please come if you can... the more people who come, the more bodies we'll have to block any wind flow into the stadiums. =)
I know i'm spamming all over the place with this but NO ONE IS RESPONDING THAT THEY'RE GOING!!!!!!!!!! i'm having a free play and a free play tournament (anyone can join). Bring your stadiums. meet at Heckscher playground, in Central park at 2pm, Dec. 4th. We need more people... otherwise, the free play tournament will be boring. T.T the tournament will start at 3 but come as soon as 2 so i can set up the brackets. =D and again, ANYONE IS WELCOME! and if you're coming, dress smart. =) bring gloves.
I may or may not be in the area around that time, if I am I'll deffinatly go.
lol. it was kinda too late... :3 but it was a decent day. =) SOMEONE ACTUALLY BROUGHT A TAKARA TOMY STADIUM. I'll inform him when we have another tournament. =D
lol Remember it was a Stamina
But Im a buying a Attack one anyways
Because not only is the Stamina illegal
its pretty much carp
