lol. i was thinking the Jacob K. Javits Center (where they hold comic con)... also, i think we should hold a tournament on the day of comic con there (not actually inside but in the lobby). I was also thinking the 60 wall street atrium but the sad part is that its "not-for-profit organized events". but idk, if anyone has any ideas, please throw them out there. =)

there's also:
Park Ave plaza
The Playgarden-95 Franklin Street

OH! and it would be cool if we could hold it in the Toys R US store in Manhattan. it would attract so many customers there too. XD but idk, i'll add on to this post if i think of anymore ^^
what about the roseland ballroom i went there for Baku-con i suggest we should hold a tourney there

hmmm, see. there's a problem with that. The people who hosted baku-con reserved and payed to rent the place. heckscher park is public (so we could host the tournament without pay). think more along the lines of public, free, indoors, and welcome to profit organization events. like an indoor playground, plaza, etc. you know what i mean? that way, WBO would gain more money than the money they spend. right?
good/bad news.
bad news: The only 2 people allowed to host tournaments are Bluezee and Cye Kinomiya... no body else...

good news: i got word from Cye Kinomiya saying:
"I've actually been planning to hold a tournament. I'll soon be buying the prizes (I want the prizes to be really good.) And, I'm trying to find an indoor venue in Manhattan. The problem is finding a free one. Also, I'm going to give it a little more time so that maybe MorningMess can send in the money so a bunch of the kids can get their passports. I don't want the parents on bad terms with the WBO because of any monetary problems. As soon as I have a more solid plan I'll be sure to talk with the staff about letting me host a tournament."

so everyone rejoice. we will have a tournament soon enough. ^^
yay thanks for the news sky
That sounds awesome, its funny cuz I was about to message him about hosting a tourney.
If you went to the CC/NYAF this year, you would immediately know that that venue is NOT the best place to hold a beyblade tournament. If so many kids got their beyblades stolen in Central Park on one day, imagine it on a three day weekend event with over 10,000 people.

speaking of tournament. did you send the tournament money already? a lot of people are complaining that they didn't get their passport yet.

Yes, that has been taken care of and the Passport Faces will be distributed as soon as possible.

oh, hey joseph! lol. how's it been? u remember me, right?

actually, i can't host it... i'll fill you in since u weren't here.
-Kai-V is pissed that we used a super vortex stadium since it wasn't an official tournament stadium
-therefore, we get no beypoints from it
-all money taken from the tournament goes to the next tournament (in other words, free entry to those who went to the last Manhattan tournament)
-if you payed $5 to the last Manhattan tournament, and you want to buy a passport, bring another $5 to the next one and you'll get a passport starting from that date.
-Kai-V is so upset that the unofficial stadium was used that no one is allowed to host a Manhattan tournament (for now). Only people to host tournaments (for now) is Cye Kinomiya and Bluezee
-Cye Kinomiya is planning a tournament and we're waiting on Ikki to send the money so Cye Kinomiya could proceed with the plans. =)
By the way, the whole Committee is upset, not just me.
lol. i stand corrected. XD

this shows just how much that you mean to us! you represent the whole comitee to some of us lol. so seriously. my mom will not let me attend tournaments off the island. but i will hav my friend Gianc6 bring my stadiums
Well, it is my hopes to possibly organize a tournament on Long Island as well. Some of the Bladers that take part in the Manhattan tournaments come from LI, so I don't see why the Manhattan bladers couldn't come out to LI some time.
