It was a Super Vortex Kai-V.
lol. yep, pretty much. :3 things could have went better. wait... but does this mean i still paid for my blader passport? lol. cause i payed for that already. Pinching_eyes_2'
Hopefully we will eventually get the money from the previous event and this one, and we will of course give the Passport Face to those who paid ten dollars. I have still not gotten a list though ...
i have every single part of the tourney that i recorded uploaded i missed one bracket though so my fault i was practicing so sorry about that if you want to see the entire footage go to the thebeyteam1
oh. ok. thanks man. you're the best

don't worry. there'll be another time. =) lol. just try and make sure you look at the date properly and mark it on your calendar next time. lol. i hope to see you at the next one. :3 speaking of which, does anyone know when the next one in NY is? (hopefully not completely upstate... i live on long island and don't plan on going that far.... Manhattan was fine for me since it's not too far and i commute there constantly so i'm familiar with the area. and the tournament provider has to have the proper stadium. I think that has to be properly addressed before the tournament can be approved. That way, the incident this time won't happen again (not that i'm complaining, i had the advantage in the super vortex stadium since i had a stamina/defense beyblade... attack would have kicked me out almost every time... so thank god).
yo guys, i just found out that Libra is legal... It's just that the Libra wheel from the 4 piece system:
http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/index.php?...ts_of_MFBs
is banned... not the 5 piece:
http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/index.php?...eel_System
so whoever had a flame libra (with a 5 piece) could have used it.... i feel sorry for some of u who wanted to use libra... i wish i found out sooner.... well, better to know now then never. right? :3
Somebody was told they could not use the Libra Clear Wheel ? Seriously ?
lol. not exactly. people were told not to use a libra spin track or libra's flame ring.... so, yeah... guess a lot of people didn't know that when they said "libra is banned", they didn't know they meant the libra from the 4 piece system. i hope i cleared things up now before the next tournament in NY occurred. :3
Even though I missed the tourney it sounds like it didnt go over too well. I hope the next one is run by an experienced blader who has a full explination of the rules. I'll even buy takara stadiums if needed, can someone tell me where I can buy one?

Yeah, the tournament didn't go as planned (since the person providing the stadium didn't show up until 5 (which was when the tournament ended)). but yeah, we DEFINITELY need a takara stadium. I'm not sure if it's available at target, walmart, or toys r us... but its worth a try.... but u can DEFINITELY order it online. There's a 100% chance you'll find one online. in stores, not sure....

so.... does anyone know when anyone's gonna host a tournament in the city? (hopefully indoors this time... it was mad cold and falling leaves were a big interference) and since i'm more experienced now, things will go much smoother (thats if i'm able to go). if someone's able to, please host a tournament... i'm so psyched to battle someone. (my brother is so easy to beat that battling him is getting boring).

Really? you can't buy a takara tomy stadium in America. PTW's and Lforces are avalible. the stadiums that were needed were Takara Tomy. you can get them from Eaby,Plamoya, and MANY other sites. http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Stores-w...s-in-stock. i hope ive been helpful

yep yep. also, the wins/losses in this tournament don't count towards our beypoints. What they'll probably do is use the $5 that you payed for this tournament and put it towards the entry fee in the next one in Manhattan. Also, if you payed $10 for a passport, you'll probably still get it. And if you want a passport and you already payed the $5 entrance fee in this tournament, just bring another $5 and your passport will be good for a full year starting from the date of the next tournament. =) and don't try and say "oh, i already payed $5 from the last tournament" even though you didn't... they'll have a list of forum names of people who payed at the last tournament. This is not definite but it is most likely what will happen (i discussed this with Kai-V).

At the next Manhattan tournament (hopefully the venue is indoors), things will be even more organized and more official (meaning with the proper stadium). and next time, when you see the host mess up with the scoring or forget about the "reshoot clause" and end up counting it as a point, PLEASE speak up. =) it will save us time from redoing some battles. ^^
It would be cool if we did get the money eventually soon ... Seriously, where are both MorningMess and Ikki ? Both just seem to have disappeared completely after their tournament.
your rite.... that is kinda weird. we haven't gotten many posts from either of them afterwards Chocked_2

i spoke with ikki yesterday. i told him to send the money... not sure if he already did. if i get in contact with him, i'll remind him again
guess there trying to keep it lol! jk

No Im not, lol I've just been piled up with stuff after that, my parents are putting it on their account between Friday-Saturday, and then it'll be sent through PayPal.
If you purchased a Passport, I have a list of that and Kei will process that after he receives the money so please wait awhile.
Thanks to everyone who showed up, it was fun even though it didn't really count because of the stadium..
I bought my own takara tomy stadium but it doesn't look like there will really be any more events in Manhattan for awhile... Atleast not WBO ones... Well.. We'll see
if your going to do another tourney in manhattan make it indoors because it will be getting too cold

no, i'm pretty sure we'll be able to have one... thats if we could prove to Kai-V that we're more than 100% ready and prepared to have one. We all know the drill, we all know the mistakes we made and how to fix them, and we all know that if the host screws up, someone has to speak up. it's all about preparation and planning. so maybe not only one or two persons should make the plans but multiple people. that way, we can work together to make it a better tournament than all the previous ones. =) the brackets were a good idea. it did make things less complicated but we should keep it to 2 brackets only. That way, we wouldn't have to worry who is in what bracket. also, we need to clarify who has what stadium and who will bring it. and yes, an indoor place would be nice to hold the tournament. It would be cool too if we held a tournament like every 2 months like canada. LOL! but you know... it's just a thought. ^^ also, we need to decide who's gonna host the next tournament. We need someone reliable (not me, i'm a terrible example... i'm good at making plans but TERRIBLE at proceeding with the plans). anyways, i say we should make another go for a tournament. "if at first, you don't succeed, try try again!!!!!!!" let's make this tournament 10 times better than the last one! WHO'S WITH ME?!!!!!!! XD
Im with ya dude, but where would we hold it? It getting much to cold to have a tourney outdoors.
