Lui's Rules

Attention all bladers! This is an experimental, unranked, event.

Lui's Rules will be similar to the YGO tcg's "Pegasus Rules" events.

Each round a six sided die will be rolled (by someone not competing). Each number represents a rule that will be applied to every match in that round.

  • 1. The bey that stops spinning first wins. (ring outs apply normally and beys must be launched correctly).
  • 2. Knock outs are worth 2 points.
  • 3. Bursts are worth 3 points.
  • 4. Matches are to 4 points instead of 3.
  • 5. A small round sponge will be added to the center of each stadium and reset after each battle.
  • 6. You must launch with only your hands (you can use one or both).

Come out and join us for a fun day of beyblade and to test your skills.

Is it the Bey that stops spinning first or spins the longest that wins?

The one that stops first is the winner. The traditional out-spin win condition is reversed for matches in that round. (you can try to launch slow for the win, dont get knocked out first though)
Someone should run a Quest combination and launch with a proto launcher if the dice lands on one.

Jokes aside, this sounds like a really fun experience. Have fun everyone and enjoy the intriguing rulesets!
Hoho new tournament !!!
Top 8 last time top 4 this time
Interesting Format. I'll see if I can join, I'll probably have to go with my Guardian this time and I don't really feel like judging this time but if you really need a judge then I'm up for it. I'm planning on hosting too sometime this month so that also may depend on if I can come or not.
So we use just our hands instead of using launchers to spin the beys?

Yes. I think we will allow people to use 2 hands bc it may be difficult to hand spin with just one.
I don't know If I can come to this tournament event, but hopefully next one and hopefully with launchers next time. Sorry
I even hope next one would be Metal Fight.
Sorry Again.

It is possible that we wont roll that rule. It all depends on how the dice fall. Hope you can make it to the next one!

No worries at all. Im actually relived, one less challenge for all of us. Im looking forward to the next epic match we have.
But, just to make sure, either I do or don't come...
Does the 6 sided die mean we do one of the 6 way games of the tournament,
and one of the different 5 games we can use a launcher, or we use only our hands in all the 6 way games all day?

Great question. If we have a 5 round tournament the die will be rolled 5 times. Each roll only affects the round it was rolled for, the rules do not stack or linger. I am also considering if we should re-roll if we land on a number already played.
So I can bring a launcher or 2, just in case? or not for this event?
Sorry I'm just not use to this kind of rule before.
Wow this format is interesting 🧐 looks like my combos won’t work as I planed then to.I’ll try my best
Good news, I ask for a day off from work on the 7th, and I'm coming
Man, Zektor, another sick as heck event idea, love it and what you do for your community!
Sadly I don't think I'll be able to make this Tournament. Sorry about that y'all but I hope you have fun. I'm planning an Event in May so hopefully I'll be able to see you all there instead.
I'm hoping for anymore to come for this event
Looks like it may be rainy tomorrow. Please come prepared. Also please keep an eye on this thread on the chance of a last minute location change if the weather is really bad.
