Right, it's that time of year again guys.
The London expo is the biggest anime and gaming event in the UK, and it will be coinciding with the WBO's beyweekend.

The tournament will take place inside the expo center, and will start and finish within the allocated time slot we will be given.
The slot we have been given will be 2pm - 4pm, myself, Rocky, Blitz and ♥ will be there a few minutes earlier to set up.
We seriously advise that you all make it to the table for 1:45 at the latest since we're going to need time to put you all in to your brackets for the tournament, and prizes will be announced at this time.

If anyone is buying anything from anyone, then make sure to be there earlier,
Sellers should be at the table at 1:35, we advise you all make it there for that time as well since you'll obviously all want any blades you're getting to use in the tournament.

• The tournament style will be Block Round Robin
• The main tournament will be MFB only, but free battles will allow plastic and HMS as usual.

There will be tournament prizes, and hopefully some fun extras as well.

Items we'd recommend for you to bring would be food and drink, in particular bottle water as it can get quite hot inside the main expo hall.

We'd also recommend that if you do intend to take part in the tournament, then bring your own beys.

This may sound like an obvious suggestion, but in the past people have come without, expecting to borrow other peoples.

This would not be a problem, but more than half the blades that have been lent out to people have either come back damaged from improper use, or not come back at all (as those who visited the previous expo will know).

Obviously this has made people a lot more reluctant to lend out their own beys.

The entry fee will be free, although we will be selling blader passports for £6 at the event, that will allow you to take place in future tournaments.

We hope you'll be interested in this tournament, and enjoy it as you have done with previous tournaments.

Thanks,
theflightyellz

It has? Wow! I'm really not sure about whether i'm coming this time.

No events will be allowed outside the main expo hall, no free battles, no activities on the grass.
If you want to play outside, then that's your own incentive (not something that the WBO has planned or suggested).

Hm, I wouldn't have thought they would have a problem with people playing free battles since I don't think people would pay out money for travel just for that and other people play things just for fun since they are not done in the main hall. I would have thought some people would like to get some practice in before the tourny and do some battles for fun but if we can't then I guess we can't.

Also, I already knew we couldn't do anyway in the main hall since tournaments do take a while. Pinching_eyes
Expo are really cracking down on anything that could draw any attention away from the main area.
In basic terms if it's not inside, it's not approved of.
This is our current stance in appliance with this.
We've been lucky enough to get a spot for free previously, the last thing we want to do is carp them off and risk any future contact with them.
so could we trade with each other in the expo even after the tournament is done
You're free to do what ever you want to do really after the tournament is over.
Is this like a real party (by the way im not dum....)
It's not an actual 'party' just a celebration for beyday, although we might have music while the tournaments going on so I guess it could be described as a party :\

And it's not spelled 'dum', it's 'dumb'...
will it go on youtube
Yes, it is highly likely that the footage will be on beychannel.
if anyone is selling any of the following email me and well meet up in the tournament to buy them please: earth aquila, dark wolf, dark bull, dark cancer, lightning l drago 100hf, rock leone's track, please i really need any of them.

if your coming ill be willing to buy some of your blades if you want please or even trade some
This may seem like a silly question to ask, but will the stand for the event be packed up after the tournament or will you be staying after 4pm for demos and free battles etc?

This question has already been answered, we only have a small time slot which im sure the tourney will take up completely so we won't have time for free battles unfortunatly. What you do after is up to you but will not be associated with the WBO, so if you wish to have free battles then you will probably have to invite the people you wish to battle away from the Excel center.
where in the expo will this take place
We currently have no idea, we haven't been listed under the fringe section, and there doesn't appear to be a map of the expo hall yet.
We've been listed under the gaming section though:

Okay, when you walk in, we'll be in the area labelled 'Community Area' on the map in the booklet (you should be able to get a booket when you enter). It's at the back, on the right side. between Stage 2 and some massive Yu-Gi-Oh thing. If you get lost you can ask the helpers or I mgiht put up my phone number the day before. May have a map up later.
hey because I've fractured my arm I will not be able to take part but will still be coming to watch
Damn that sucks, sorry to hear it. : (
Likewise, It'll be nice to see you there though.
Ok, small update for all you guys.
As you all should know by now, our slot is between 2-4, which gives us just enough time to do the tournament.

If there are any further updates then we'll let you know, this should be a really great tournament.

See you all there Grin
Ok guys i'm not going to Expo or London for that matter so stop bidding please.
What time should we arrive to line up for tickets?
