Last movie you watched

X-man First Class.

It was good, but kinda predicting at the same time. 7/10 from me Tongue_out

X-Men: First Class

I didn't know what to expect going in because it is a wholly different cast than any previous X-Men movie, but the casting was amazing. Kevin Bacon was in my opinion the best villain of any X-Men movie. Once more that is my opinion. James McAvoy did a surprisingly good job as Charles Xavier(he isn't referred to as Proffessor X over the majority of the film). Michael Fassbender played Erik Lensherr(Magneto) and he did so very well. I have not seen him in much so I didn't know what to expect but he was great in his role. Though this film was a prequel there were a few things I couldn't predict because they weren't mentioned or were changed from earlier movies. The movie ends before we see Charles seeking out mutants beyond the first group we meet in the film, but X-Men: The Last Stand said that Proffessor X met Jean Gray while he was still friends with Magneto, but she isn't even born by the end of the film. I did have a problem with one mutant simply because he was the second Nightcrawler like mutant who wasn't Nightcrawler, so at this point it appears to be an obligatory character despite the fact we haven't seen Nightcrawler since the second movie. In all it is a great movie that clearly shows the beginning of the Human-Mutant conflict. It is a great film, and all X-Men fans should see it.

Seriously? You don't seem to know the full depth of X-Men at all... (neither do i but i know the cool stuff lol)

It was a good film, true. What you call the "second Nightcrawler" was Azazel, his father; whom he was supposed to mate with Mistique to give birth to Nightcrawler (according to the updated version comics (the earlier version was weird...)) and he was supposed to have more power than just teleport, but since he did it so well, i have to like him.

With this much power he could have easily been the main antagonist...

X-Men Wolverine Origins. At the end of that film X was bald and still walking... they clearly just "ignored" that film...

Another thing. Havok was supposed to be Scott Summer's younger brother but wth was he doing in the 60s!?!

So many changes done, it makes my head hurt just thinking about it... it would be nice to see a sequel though, since I think the fans (who don't know much about XMen) would have loved to really know that Nightcrawler was Azazel's son. As well as seeing Havok turn evil, since he didn't appear in the other films.. It would also be nice to see the rivalry between the Neyaphem and Cheyarafim (basically demon vs angel).

Oh and another funny thing to remember is that, I do not think they ever mentioned the name of Riptide in the film lol (tornado man).

It would also make sense to release X-Men - Magneto Origins (even though this was supposed to be it) because we really don't know how Magneto escaped as well as how Sebastian Shaw got his power (in the film), he just appeared with it years later.. and no, he didn't have his powers at the start because he was still aging, later you will notice that he is a lot younger and then older again (for one scene) towards the end of the film.

I just watched the Hangover 2 (Part 2 I think)

It was okay the plot was alittle moronic but the comical parts are really histarical.

Summary, They are at it again that all I am going to say!

Literally 15 second after I posted I looks this information up, but I had to run an errand and new I would be corrected before I edited my post. I was correct in my assumption.
As for Havok, I did know about him so I too questioned why he was in the film.

And I don't think Xavier from Origins was actually able to use his legs, my basis is that he was using his telepathy, so he could have projected himself to the children. As for the baldness, Patrick Stewart is perpetually bald and CGI and wigs will never be technologically advanced enough to give him the appearance of hair. All things considered, the continuity of the X-Men movies has always been sketchy when compared to the comics at any given point.

I don't remember how it went exactly but i think you may be correct about that part because i easily remember him guiding the kids out using telepathy anyway...

By the way.. i think you might be underestimating what a team of experts are able to do. They could easily give him a wig that would work and if they can CGI Arnold in Terminator 4 then a lot is very possible...

but that girl was just cruel,mean and heartless. Anyways was a decent movie,would go see,and kind of regret renting it. Uncertain just poor cuddles D:

Summer Wars

It's a remake of that Digimon movie (they share directors)... A good chunk of the plot, and twists are directly mirrored here. Not to say that's bad or anything, because the movie is pretty great. It's just makes the film ultra predictable. Also, that dub. It's good, but nothing to write home about. I kind of wish Funimation didn't grab this one, as I felt an Ocean produced dub would've been better since their Girl Who Leapt Through Time dub is certainly better than what's displayed here.

X-Men: First Class

It was really good. I like how it explain why the hell they're fighting in the first place.

Yeah, that confused me too. A magazine I read said that they're so far apart that Scott might've been dead or Havok could've been Cyclops'.....father?!! LOL

I kind of understand why they opted for this instead. To explain Magneto's origins, they would've had to show the info they showed about him in the movie. I think it's better to say that they should've included that info in First Class; First Class not only told Magneto's origins, but showed a younger Prof. X and the beginning of the X-Men too.

But if they had any more to tell about Magneto, and decided to make an Origins movie, why not?

Wolverine(???): Go f**k yourselves.

I'm not really sure if that was Wolverine, my dad told me he was. But whoever that mutant was, I like his attitude.

That was a Hugh Jackman cameo, he is the actor who portrays Wolverine. Sadly this hilarious cameo breaks continuity with the first film.

Love the wolverine cameo in x-men first class. Lot of dying too. Magneto and Azazel pretty much did all of the killing. Mystique was funny and sexy. Little disturbing about her as a child though. Like I'm talking about the child actor. Was she nude or was it just really good special effects? Cause other Mystiques in the movies were nude. Anyway, Charles was really funny. Sad that Darwin died. Angel is just a betrayer. She's hot but horrible. Emma frost was hot too. Some inappropriate scenes for some kids and that's it. Overall, it was really funny and cool. Wolverine cameo was hilarious.

I watched it on Saturday and yes there are lots of descripensies. One is that a young frost queen was in x men origins. Which was several years after this film. Thought it was amazing movie anyway.

Edit: it's possible Darwin could have survived and turned into gas.

I just watched Saving Private Ryan.

What a great movie!! 4/5 stars at least!

EDIT: Actually, now I just watched Forrest Gump. I'm still not sure whether to laugh, cry, or walk away; but it was still a good movie. Sad at parts, but still decent.

And you gotta love Lieutenant Dan Smile

i watched summer wars.

it was a good movie definitly something i would say very digimon like and even reminded me and my sister too much of the digimon movie. over all though the movie was really good its one of those movies that just tell you dont become too involved in the computer world because it takes one hacker to destoy evertything.

for what its worth because it is still a good movie i rate it 3 1/2 out of 5.

Shrek: Forever After

I was actually really surprised by how good this movie was. I thought it'd just be the same gimmick again (And it often was) but there was still interesting elements.

Dreamworks keeps surprising me...

Almost forgot Hangover 2 an amazingly funny movie very similar to the first used some of the same jokes but it was a CLASSIC movie lol 9/10 because I am a huge fan

So, once again a duo of movies I recently saw.

First up is I am number four. It was okay. Just decent, good rental. I probably would've felt ripped off had I seen it full price in theatres, but it was only five bucks and worth only that. Good action, nice characters, cool powers, but what really drags this movie down are the villains which are just so bland, I still can't believe that anyone sat around a table, looked at character designs of bald, tattooed, sharp-teethed, black coat wearing idiots that like violence would be an original idea for the villains.

And, today, I saw X-Men: The First Class. It's a great action movie, except if you're looking for continuity, because there is none, in this movie. Other than that, I was kinda disappointed. I expected this to be much darker and serious, but it was just...kinda silly, sometimes. But it was good.

I saw two movies very recently.

The first is Jurassic Park. For those of you unfamiliar with it, it is the first in a series of movies based on a book of the same name by Michael Crichton. I have to say, it was a very good movie. I don't like how they cut out some of the build-up, such as a little girl almost dying, and a "plague" of infants and young children dying as well, but I think it made up for that. The dinosaurs were very realistic, the action scenes intense, and to be perfectly honest, I probably would have gone into shock, or had a heart attack, if I had not read the book. Steven Spielberg and Michael Crichton did a very good job surprising you in the movie. I recommend it, but I suggest you read the book first. I'll definitely finish the movie series.


The second is The Rock, starring Nicholas Cage and Sean Connery. This was my second time seeing the film, and I was just as impressed as when I saw it the first time. The story is very well thought out, and the action scenes are intense. However, the movie is somewhat graphic, and they curse a lot. It's a great movie, in my opinion.
