I went in that theatre expecting excitment and great CGI. I didn't expect character development, good plot or emotionnal scenes. So yeah, I didn't expect a masterpiece (at all) but they couldn't even give me excitment...

The reason for that is probably that I didn't like the characters at all. I didn't feel sorry when they got hurt or got killed...And the CGI wasn't that impressive, seriously. So yeah, kinda disappointing.

Don't watch Ninja Assassin unless you're in it just to see Rain. I'd advise Speed Racer still over this if that's the case though. It's bloodier than Saw imo and full of ninja fail. Bazookas/Guns + Ninja= wtf.
