Last movie you watched

So I did see Avatar, and well I didn't really care for the movie. But my gosh, it's something incredible to look at, especially in Imax 3D.

I liked it a lot.
Wanted. it was good. I thought it was underated.
I watched Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince. Hmm I really need to finish the book and the 7th one *sigh* I'd say it was great if you didn't need the book.
avatar is so awful

3-d visuals are nice for a while but wore off before the film finished and there really isn't anything at all worth mentioning other than that

what a waste of money

What the heck. That movie was beast.
So I watched the Karate Kid series of films. And wow, the third film is absolutely horrible. I've never watched it before now, but wow. The villians are so over the top, and campy, the transformation that Daniel goes through (from being Miyagi's best friend, to going behind his back) isn't strong. It's a shame too, since the basic idea is decent. Miyagi doesn't want to train Daniel for the new tournament because he feels it devalues Karate, as Daniel no longer has a point to prove (having defeated the jocks in the first movie), and now it's only for boasting, and sport, with Daniel going behind his back to try to keep his title as champion. It's just that the execution is really, really, bad.

There was some weirdness going on in that movie's timeline as well; Karate Kid 2 starts 5 minutes after the first one ends, and after coming back from Okinawa nine months have passed, which leads us to Karate Kid 3. But Kreese (the Cobrakah sensei) says a year has passed since he last had a student after the defeat in Karate Kid, and that it was time for another martial arts tournament. Then there's the clusterfuck of when Daniel was supposed to be in College.

I do love how Daniel gets a girl in each Karate Kid movie like 30 minutes in, but loses them by either the next movie, or the end of it.

They all suck.
Avatar

I thought it was just a CGI fest, nothing worth cinema. Turns out I was totally wrong. Although it's suspiciously similar to Dances With Wolves, I do think it's better. Maybe it's simply because it's been a while since I watched Dances With Wolves, but I really think it's better. I didn't really think the "Real 3-D" stuff was worth it, though, not sure why...

But the movie's great, that's certain.

Sherlock Holmes.

Damn fun movie, good cast and enjoyable plot.
Ending seemed to set things up for a sequel, and that sounds pretty good to me.
I liked the amount of Irene Adler in the movie, I like her character, both as a love interest for Holmes, and as a rival, able to outsmart him.

And, well, I'm just a fan of Sherlock Holmes in general.

Avatar 3D

Best film I have ever seen, the cgi was amazing but i was disappointed with the 3D. I expected the whole film in 3D but it was only certain parts, the best part was with the the big red bird (cant remember its name now) when jake said that no one hunted it so why should he look up and then he jumps off and captures it
