Hey everyone! This will be the first of 3 summer tournaments that Leone19 and I are hosting, but unlike our previous events, this one will be a little different.
In the first tournament on June 28th, we'll be using a brand new stadium to CT: the BB-46!

Date: June 28th: registration starts at 9am, the tournament should run from 9:30am-12pm
Venue: The Berlin Community Center - 234 Kensington Rd, Berlin, CT 06037
Format: Standard in the BB-46 & BB-10. Each round will alternate between the balance side of the BB-46 and the BB-10, so players will need to adjust their combos accordingly.
Prizes: In order to encourage players to participate in all 3 tournaments, we won't be giving out prizes until the third tournament at the end of June. However, players' wins will carry on from each tournament. The 3 players with the highest accumulated points from the series will get the prizes on July 26th, and trust me, these Beyblades will be worth the wait Wink

The community center closes around 12pm, but if the weather outdoors permits, we may follow up with an illegal parts tournament followed by a limited tournament in the same style.

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.

7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian

If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.

8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited

Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.

9. Terms of Service

All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

Confirm me (since I'm cohosting with you, I hope I'm going Tongue_out), Bullchamp; add Nickster670, Haspro, and Bullchamp's brother as possibles.

So again, it'd be awesome if attendees with BB-10's or 46's could bring them, to help the tournament run quickly and smoothly. Who knows, if we get enough time, we could try to do two, like in the Phantom (Orion) Menace.
Gotcha! I was planning to wait until we had a few others before putting just our names on the list haha ;p
While we will not be supplying prizes for this for the reasons in the OP, if anyone would like to contribute to the prize pool and bring your own to give, that'd be cool.
Guys, we'll also be doing a mini illegal part tournament afterwards. I know we're not supposed to advertise it too much, but anything that resembles/functions as a beyblade is up for grabs & we might include a prize for first.

We've actually had this one in the works for a while, just waiting to execute it in the summer, haha.

Great Beyblader's minds think alike Tongue_out.
hey... ADD ME AS MAYBE!!!!!!!
Cool, you're added. Tongue_out

Hope you can make it.
Count myself, BladerBlock, and ElementChris in!
Awesome! You're added Smile
Add me and akalajian as tentative. Really going to try and make this one.
Added you both Smile It would be great if you guys made it; haven't seen you since Connecticon!
Just a note : I sent invites for this event, but there were only five active Members on the map around the location, and ten overall. If some of you are not already on the BeyMap, register now to get updates about events near you, and invite people you know onto it.
Thanks! I'll remind everyone to do so at the event. We usually get a couple unconfirmed players, occasionally ones who found out about the event through Naijalak's CT Beyblade website, so I'll be sure to remind them to check event listings & sign up on the Beymap here, as well.
Yeah, most of the younger kids probably aren't on BeyMap. As The Supreme One said, we do get a few unconfirmed, some of which see it on Naijalak's CT site.
Hate to bump/double post, but I want to remind everyone this is next weekend and we do have a few things that we hope you all remember:

- Parents should stay, unless you drove yourself to the Community Center, of course.

-We're not babysitters, we're Beybladers. So parents- please don't "Drop and Run"- we don't want to wait for you to pick up your child. This has happened before.

- Judges regards are final- please listen and do not argue or nag the judges. If you think something was judged inacurately, talk to the host(s). (Me or The Supreme One)

- Don't vandalize or litter- it was very hard to get a spot in the room, so please- pick up your mess. Do not purposefully damage any stadiums- as they do not belong to you.

I can't wait to see you all there- remember- Registration is from 9-9:30. Anyone who arrives after 9:30 (when the brackets have started being made) will not be able to play in the event, itself.

Thank you.
Probably July 19th & 26th.

To this tournament or one of the two in July?
Woo, this is in just two days. Reminder: registration is from 9-9:30. Anyone who arrives after 9:30 (when the brackets have started being made) will not be able to play in the event, itself.

Please bring a BB-10 if you have one.
