It's about half the world away from you, literally.

Violin for 8 years and still going.
Got into the selective chamber/performing orchestra at my school (Sterling Strings) which gets hired for gigs around here. Here's a vid of us haha
AnnieDuck Wrote:Ukuleles are also fabulously portable and you don't need any fancy add on toys to make them play that high. One of my favourite things to do in middle school when I was home sick was teach myself how to play blues songs on the baritone, and punk on the soprano. Still got my soprano, haven't played it in years.
I re-wrote the opening of the song "The Patient" by Tool for my first boyfriend's birthday but he was a carp and never had time for me to play it for him. ;p

A baritone ukulele sounds kind of like a a deeper mandolin.

Synesthesia Wrote:What type of music do you play?It wasn't hard to play, but that's just me. It all seemed to easy. Like I said before, the only hard part is vibrato, the pressure of the bow...and backward/forward extensions. @_@
I heard stringed instruments like the Violin, Viola, and Cello were really difficult to play.
I played violin for a couple years, so I know first hand that it's hard as hell to play. Guitar hasn't been much easier.
narushi Wrote:I played the violin for 8 years by now. I'm really good at it too.Played the Cello for a good 8 years. Also, drums rock =D
I'm starting to play the guitar.
I've tried the drums, and I sucked at it.
