If you could change or add one thing to the WBO ...

I agree with you completely Kai-V, however, might there a way to copy the code of what their signature was, and PM it to them, so they don't lose it completely? That or automate the limit upon signature creation, so when a user enters a signature that will break the size limit, it fails to change it and returns a message that it exceeds the size limit, and should revise, taking them back to the code of the signature they entered?

I'm not sure if this forum software can do that, but I'm quite sure I've seen a few forums do that, or just crop the signature ("Signature auto-cropped due to excessive size"). I'm not arguing that people should be excused for not reading the rules, but accidents happen, people mightn't realise. I also understand how much time and effort already goes into this site, and that there isn't time to implement everything. If you can automate it though, it might save time in the long run?

Just an idea, plzdunkillme

In my mind, they will have to remove a lot of things sometimes anyway to make their overall signature fit the size limit, so even if I gave them what they used to have, most will have to be deleted. Furthermore, they would usually want to only keep the image they had in their signature, which can surely be found again without too much trouble. It is not as if you had tens of thousands of private messages like me and that you had to find which one had the URL for your signature picture, or that you cannot go in the "graphics makers"'s topic to find the image again and reupload it on an image-hosting website to get a new URL.

As for an automatic recognition that the signature is too large, I believe we can only have something that limits the number of characters used in the signature (for instance, "texttexttext [IMG]URL", so that does not see whether, when the picture shows up, it is too big when you add in the text as well.

The general idea anyway is that when your signature is almost always bigger than your posts, there is a huge problem.

By the way, for everyone's information, text is usually nine or ten pixels high, so if you have one line of text in your signature, your picture should be no higher than 190-191 pixels.
OK, now I get it... But some ppl, who have lots of text in their sig, and that is what makes their sig bigger, then they should be PMed, coz they would just have to remove the text.... If the sig is changed to-
signature was too large read the rules, the user would also lose his pic, thus it would cause problems....
Though, its true that the rules should be read....
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but I'd like to have a search function in the PM system(?)

i.e. Search for Title of message, who sent it, etc.

EDIT: Nevermind, I could have just "Downloaded Message" into HTML and "CTRL+F" the thing i wanted.

If we are ever able to upgrade to MyBB 1.6, that is a new very useful function it introduces.

99% of the time that i'm on here im on an ipod/ipad. an app isnt needed. its a very simple website.

it also costs money to put up and app

No you don't have to pay to make one, it's only for if you want it to have a price. It's better an app because on the ipad the words are very small and its not that practical to press links... Plus the iPad/iPhone/Touch doesn't have flash player.
Sense when do we use flash on here?
The only Flash I can think of is the spinning Lightning L Drago that shows up while waiting for an edit to be complete, however I am not even certain that it is Flash ...
I'm thinking we could change the title of ask a question, get an answer, to "ask a beyblade related question, get an answer" or something similar, to cut down on newbies asking "how do I posted imaeg" etc. It's not a huge issue, but it'd save peoples time telling them where to ask it etc, and as it's a simple change, why not?

We will obviously still get a lot of unrelated questions though, hah. Just look at all the users creating new topics to ask Beyblade questions in the Questions and Comments forum while we have a clear message in the post field ...
I will try and Donate $20 ASAP. 1 Because I love the WBO 2. Faces :! 3. I would love to See MyBB 1.6.

That'll be $40 Ive Donated <<< Semi Off Topic because it has stuff to do with MyBB 1.6.

I would still love to be able to Search a Member's Profile. Like type Their Name and you can see Their Profile.

Also when I am Creating a PM and I am Typing who I am sending it to. I find it very hard to Type someones name.

Like I will go to type BeyJadz and Before I'm finished it will come up with some user called E.G Beydonkey12345.

Its just an Inconvenience.

You can already search for a member's profile ... Go to the bottom of the Member List.

The "autocomplete" has a lot of useful points, but when many people have the same beginning in their username, it becomes more complex. However, you could always just go to that person's profile and directly click on "Send [ ] a private message.", or just go copy and paste their username in the Recipients box. I think that if you add people to your Buddy List, it might also make it easier for you.
make anyone be able to have tournaments (not official) so that we can have fun and use this site to find bladers. and the person who says we already have this in wbo general ur wrong. i tried this method and it got shut down even though it was just a get together in tourney format
If it's unofficial, it can't be advertised on the WBO IIRC. You might be able to post a thread in the general forum, however this would only happen if you're already trusted.
Then I must consider myself very lucky and hugely grateful that we were able to host some unofficial tournaments in London.

With places like London, approved tournaments still happen very frequently, so it is not such a problem to have some 'meet-ups' just once in a while.

If a location has never had any approved tournaments, or even just one, then I find that it is parasitism, because we have no guarantee for the 'subscription' of the Bladers who live there to our approved tournaments. If the first few events that are held are unofficial and work, then those Bladers will wonder why the hell they would bother to get one approved, and the style of play we are pushing for will totally be lost.

If a region is used to approved tournaments and clearly still shows an interest towards them for the future, then that is cool.
a beyblade simulator to test your beys in different situations that users can add to and then they are checked by other users for accuracy.a bit like beyblade battles but more accurate
That's what "Build me a combo" is there for.
Just ask if this beys good and they will tell you the answer but just don't argue with them.

I wish this topic to be filled with realistic suggestions, it would be appreciated.
I would Change that your sig can be whatever size you want it to be. That would mean no more messages in your sig. saying, Your Signature is to Big. Read the Rules.
Ummm....Oh!
A map to show where all blader's meet! That way we can meet up with them, and BeyBattle eachother easier.(And that there should eb a serch on the map thing i said on witch region,country,state,island,ect...)
