Yeah, I definitely should have waited on the planning, and I shouldn't have expected to pass on my first try, but I don't think I missed it by much and as soon as I got denied, I realized what I did wrong... If anything, it gives me the advantage of not making that mistake (hopefully) for next time.

I'm not near that area but I have an idea, how about you start off with an Unranked tournament somewhere near you, because starting off with a Ranked Tournament may be much if you've never held a tournament, so try hosting an unranked, again, this is my opinion and you can completely ignore me if you want

That sounds great, probably what I would rather do. I'll move onto Ranked in a later tourney, but for now, just the challenge of simply running the tournament is the first hurdle.

My family is just there to support me. I have to have an adult at my tournament and think that it's good that I am hosting events. As for the team settings, all you have to do is put it in your signature. I don't think that there is any way to make an official recognized team, if you know what I mean by that. In the future, before I set an event cap, I'll ask what date you guys can make it for that way I can raise the cap. (If you are willing to bring a stadium and judge.)

Wow, that sounds really cool, but I think I'll have to pass on your offer. Don't think I can make the travel, but keep doing what you're doing! It would be amazing if you could help out at a tournament, so let me know if you're planning on coming through the area, and I would really appreciate the help. if you're in the woodlands we're practically neighbors because I'm in Atascocita! Not an organizer but definitely willing to contribute to the local scene! I'm an older guy with kids as well so its nice to see more adults that are a part of this as well.
