Check-In and Tournament details:
- Check-in/registration will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 10:20 AM
- Announcements will also begin at 10:20
- Beyblade is intended to be fun for every single person, young or old, attending the event. Me and the wonderful staff at House of Cards politely ask every Blader to treat everyone in attendance with respect and kindness. Anyone displaying negative or hostile behavior or caught cheating will be asked to leave. We appreciate your cooperation with these guidelines, and we hope to see you at the tournament!
- This tournament, along with any tournament hosted by the WBO will use the Challonge bracket system to track your matches. We will not be able to give set times as to when your match will start, but you are more than welcome to follow along with the tournament bracket that will be posted after check-in.
- I highly encourage everyone to register with Challonge for future ranked tournaments.
Other Important Information:
- This tournament is NOT ranked; however, this tournament will make use of the following ranked clause in addition to or in place of rules listed in the format rulebook:
*Own Finish: When you score an Xtreme finish or over finish against a Beyblade that did not make contact with your Bey during the battle, it is considered an "Own finish" instead. This means that you will receive one point, and the battle will be replayed. (If you launch your Bey and it KO's itself without touching your opponent's Bey, your opponent is awarded one point, and you then replay the battle.)
- This tournament will consist of two stages. First Stage will be 6 rounds of Swiss format. Second stage will take the top 8 Bladers from the first stage and will be single elimination between those 8.
- METAL NEEDLE IS COMPLETELY BANNED FOR USE IN THIS TOURNAMENT DUE TO THE BIT CAUSING DAMAGE TO STADIUMS. WE ALSO ASK TO REFRAIN FROM USING THIS BIT IN FREE PLAY UNLESS IT IS WITHIN A STADIUM YOU BROUGHT.
- We encourage everyone to bring their own Takara Tomy stadiums for free play/practice. I will be providing stadiums for the tournament itself but having spare stadiums in case of a breakage will be beneficial.
