[Hasbro]  Turbo Spryzen S4 Testing and Discussion

Turbo Spryzen S4 is a Layer that could really be good. It has the highest Tier ranking on someone list with a 10/10 all my itself. So, lets see if it is accually good. 5 rounds per test.

1st test: (Right spin) tS4 00W X vs B3 0B Br
Balkesh win Rate: 40% (2 outspins)
Spryzen win rate: 60% (2 outspins and 1 burst)

Dang! One burst, this combo seems god like! Lets try spin stealing now.

Test 2: (Right spin handspun) tS4 00W Br vs. L3t Ds
Lűinor win rate: 20% (1 outspin)
Spryzen win rate: 80% (4 ouspins)
Test notes: This test had many flukes during round 5 since Lűinor could not stay on the launcher.

It seems like spin steal is efficient. Now lets go all stamina

Final test: (right spin) tS4 00W Br vs. G3 0B At
Garuda win rate: 60% (3 ouspins)
Spryzen win rate: 40% (2 outspins)

Final thoughts: Turbo Spryzen S4 is a good layer for attack and spin steal. When up against same spin combinations though, it can struggle, still, I think tS4 is top tier and deserves to be.
I would not recommend hand spinning I testing. I would also recommend doing like 10-20 battles with each bey instead of 5. Not only that but using better combos. L3.T.Ds isn't really good. And with G3, switch bump to Cross or Star. Also switch bump to wall, turn or lift. Or if you can't, just make sure they have the same frame.
Turbo Spryzen S4 00Expand Rise-H (Right Spin) Vs Lord Spriggan 0Cross Xtend+ (Right Spin). I did ten rounds.

Results:

Turbo Spryzen S4: 50% (5 OS)

Lord Spriggan: 50% (3 OS 1 KO 1 Burst)

This was...unexpected. I mean I knew the Turbo Spryzen combo was good, but not this good. Later I will test it against Lord on left spin, which will likely destroy Turbo Spryzen, but you never know.
Wow, surprising. Maybe You could switch frames, coz Cross is Tier 1 and Expand Tier 2 (according to beyblade planner) or simply use identical frames.

Looking forward to ur results

Rise-H doesn’t let cross reach the stadium floor, so expand is a better frame in this case.

Turbo Spryzen S4 00Expand Rise-H (Right Spin) Vs. Lord Spriggan 0Cross Xtend+ (Left Spin). I did ten rounds.

Results:

Turbo Spryzen S4: 80% (8 OS’)

Lord Spriggan: 20% (1 OS 1 KO)

We have found another counter to LS, and it’s a Hasbro counter. Looks like Rise isn’t that bad after all. I mean, it gave us the Hasbro equivalent to TT Xtend+. Anyways, LS was only able to OS S4 once and S4 Self-KO’ed once as well. There were quite a few ties, by the way.

Can you try OO Wall Bearing?

It won’t be better than 00Expand Rise-H, but I could.

Can you try 00W Bearing on the Lord Spriggan combo?

Can you try 00W Bearing on the Lord Spriggan combo?

Sure, but again, it won’t be better than it’s previous combo just used.

I think Bearing has around the same LAD as Xtend+, and you can put Wall on it without it scraping too much so there's more recession time when spinning because Bearing's a pretty wide tip

Bearing actually has less LAD than Xtend+, but only by a slight bit. I think Rise-H has more stamina than Bearing or Xtend+.
New testing!
tS4 0 Turn (attack Mode) Wedge-S vs. B3 00 Wall Bearing
Spryzen win rate: KOOOOOOOK (90%)
Balkesh win rate: O (10%)
Turbo Spryzen S4 00Expand Rise-H (Left Spin) Vs. Judgement Diabolos Blitz Quick’. I did ten rounds.

Results:

Turbo Spryzen S4: 60% (6 OS’)

Judgement Diabolos: 40% (4 KO’s)

It seems Rise-H doesn’t have very good KO resistance, so Judgement combos might be a good counter to it. I mean it still outspun Judgement Diabolos but with a good launch you can easily KO Turbo Spryzen on Rise-H.
A testing requested from the Rock testing thread
Sr3.00B.Ds (right spin) vs. tS4.0W.Br (left spin)
Sr3 win rate: OOOOOO (60%)
tS4 win rate: OOOO (40%)

Ok, just wanted to be sure how good Rock Dragon actually was.
Turbo Spryzen S4 (Left Spin) 00Expand Rise-H Vs. Master Diabolos (Left Spin) 00Cross Atomic. I did ten rounds.

Results:

Turbo Spryzen S4: 90% (2 KO 7 OS)

Master Diabolos: 10% (1 KO)

So basically, Rise-H has great same spin stamina.

Rise-H has more same spin stamina than atomic?!

I know, I honestly forgot Atomic had the best same spin stamina.
Turbo Spryzen Sting Rise-H(Left)(Odd) Vs Cho Z Spriggan Sting Atomic(Left)(Even) Best Of 10 Rounds.

tS4.St.Rs-H: 2 KO, 3 OS

CZS.St.At: 1 KO, 4 OS

tS4 Win Rate: (50%)

Overall, this test was pretty much 50/50, whoever was launched first seemed to get the win every battle. Rs-H was able to OS Atomic a few times, but Atomic seems to still have slightly better same spin stamina overall. Rise-H was able to KO Atomic on the tornado ridge when Atomic stalled, but also self-KOed once. I’ll definitely be testing this part further.

A bit strange how Cho-Z Spriggan did better than Master Diabolos in left spin. Maybe I need to test that myself. Maybe it was because I always launched Turbo Spryzen S4 second. Now that I think of it, I think I need to do a retest on that battle, as it was unfair to the first combo that was launched.
Thats basics. Always do alternating launches. In all those testing threads it is done like that. Till You launch the second Bey, the first one already spinned 100 rounds or so.

Exception: if you test attack vs balance/def/stam, always launch the attack bey second.
So do Rise-H and Turbo Spryzen S4 have their own place in top tier combos?
(Feb. 02, 2020  8:35 PM)YishYash Wrote: So do Rise-H and Turbo Spryzen S4 have their own place in top tier combos?

Likely, although there is a self KO risk so you have to make sure to launch it properly.
