Hi, I just got Myth Odax and I thought about testing it, so here is the testing thread. As always feel free to post your own tests here if you want, so let's get into the tests!

Alright so finally thoughts: it did surprising well against H4 and T3, probably would have done better if I used Dagger instead of Glaive, but even still, there's a reason why H4 should be banned. It's anti attack is stellar and it also has enough stamina to OS some defense beys. This is because when Myth hits beys, it can drain their stamina pretty efficiently, and this was especially apparent against ace and fafnir. Despite the win rate against fafnir, I feel like if definitely would have done better if F3 was on Ab-S or something like that, because every time Myth hit F3, F3 loss a a good chunk of stamina and was even OSed a couple of times. I'll have to test it more, but this bey seems like a beast, kinda like TT miniboros in classic, as it has high attack, with the ability to work as a strong anti attack along with pretty good stamina, hope you got knowledge from this!

Shining Amaterios: 100% (7 OS’ 3 KO’s)

Maybe Shining Amaterios was too powerful of an opponent to put Myth up against.

Arc Bahamut 0Cross Atomic (Moderate Launch) Vs. Myth Joker J5 0Expand Hunter-S (Battle Ring Mode and Sliding Shoot). I did ten rounds.

Results:

Joker J5: 20% (2 KO’s)

Arc Bahamut: 80% (5 OS’ 3 KO’s)

Turbo Spryzen is banned in limited, and those combos aren't competitive.

It's fine. But for future reference, I pretty much only open competitive threads. Any thread with testing and discussion is usually competitive
Picked up the Myth and pP pack from Walmart since I wanted Myth and could use another Outer, the 0 and Yr-S are also nice too.

Because Dr2 is my only chip, I can't say for sure how it compares to Joker/Valtyrek/Kerbeus/Achilles/Genesis tightness-wise, but it seemed usable enough with the relevant Drivers. However, it made for a bit of challenge to find a working combo - Dr2 locked me out of most of the heavier Disks, meaning that I had to strike a weird balance between movement speed, recoil management, and stamina, until I finally settled on Myth Dragon2 5Cross Xtreme.

All of these were done in the Mold 1 B-09, and Myth was always launched second.

I was a little unimpressed after this one considering how vulnerable dC generally is to Attack, but it was the first one I did, so my Sliding Shoot may not have been as good as later.

I tried all sorts of different launch strengths and techniques for tN, but even with the tightest God Chip I have on it, it still bursts too much to be used on anything but a Dash Driver for me. Decided to call this one off halfway through and try it against something more defensive since my tN just seems to be especially weak and the results probably wouldn't be very useful info.

I found that moderate launching aZ3 here was the best move, so it'd stay out the middle but also not be vulnerable to if Xtreme was Tornado Stalled. For Myth, I did a more elliptical Sliding Shoot.

No real surprises here, I just wanted to see how KO Myth did against left spin same spin and opposite spin Stamina. Fafnir was always weak launched and Myth was always sliding shot. Bearing did have a tendency to get knocked back further, which led to it scoring some wall save KOs.

For all of these sX was flat hard launched. Just wanted to see if I could use a same spin Burst Attacker to exploit Myth's self-burst risk (which, all things considered, was not as high as I was expecting, but it didn't really work. Myth tended to KO sX before sX got the chance to burst Myth and there were surprisingly hardly any first hit double bursts.

Conclusion for now: I'll have to wait on a better chip before I can really start testing different variations besides KO Myth. I know bladekid and henwooja1 like mixed Myth more than KO Myth but without like Joker or Achilles I could not use a disk with enough OWD to keep it moving fast for long enough without self-bursting. Using 5 or 8' on Hn or Ir didn't work either, Myth is already so light (7 grams!) that without Xtreme's recoil control it would just kinda kick itself across the stadium and lose spin without doing much to the opponent.

It also felt a bit like using Single Layer Valkyrie, so I'd be interested in trying it on W E D G E - S as a more Limited-suited version of Valkyrie on Trans'.
Finally got a tighter chip (Achilles), so I got to do some more testing on Myth with some heavier combos.

MA.0T.Hn: 15 wins (7 KO, 5 Burst, 3 OS)
TD.10E.At: 5 wins (4 OS 1 KO)
MA.0T.Hn win rate: 75%

Huge, huge improvement from before. Achilles did not have an issue with self bursting at all really, though this might change against left spin or more defensive opponents. I did do a few casual rounds against Monster Unite with the 10T.X variant and it self-bursted a few times, but I'll have to formally retest it later with the seemingly better 0T.Hn variant.

While some might claim that Attack Layers are always better on Xtreme, Myth really does seem better on Hn.This combo henwooja posted in particular comes together very well. Xtreme was better at netting the initial KO of course, but with a mid-launched Atomic that can avoid the worst hits from both a tornado stall and a flower pattern, the window of opportunity to land the decisive hit is small, and with Myth's light weight it uses up a lot of spin taking recoil from the initial heavy hits. Hunter allows Myth to retain RPM much better, which lengthens its KO window considerably and also allowed it to burst Triumph mid to late game more frequently, and occasionally OS it, especially if Triumph is launched more on the weaker side to avoid bursting.
