Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Updates!!

That's only for LLD. Gravity, ray, and others still have a chance.

Try twisted vs stamina in that stadium, and try attack with different tips and tracks.
Hey, we're not allowing the destroyer dome or the beywheelz ramp, right?
I doubt it, as they are not designed for regular beyblades.

That said, there's no reason not to accept good tests of a hasbro stadium, no mater how dumb it is, if someone feels like doing them, then it's really not a big effort to stick some spoiler tags on it and add it to the OP.
Ii would actualy be curious to see those 2 tested. That may seem hypocritical of me, as I just destroyed the Graffiti and Half pipe stadiums in my last few posts, but they seem fun enough. The skater stadiums dont even serve real purpose

@Th!nk: I think (no pun intended) that most of us could agree that SF would be the best option. Agressive movement and stamina to support it, it most strongly supports the "bash it until it is dead" kind of attack type, which if we want a somewhat balanced metagame, that should really be our main approach to attack types

I had also never considered an artificial meta either. By this I mean creating the tiers for the defense meta by creating defense anti-metas for the attack tiers, and vic versa. That is actualy genius. It would certianlty help in heading towards a balanced metagame
when i get out of scholl tomorrow i will test what i think is a good hasbro stamina bey thearmal gemios 125 sd
Ok, but please test it against these opponents:

Earth/Burn Aquario/Bull AD145/145WD/SD
I think that I should point out that scientifically speaking there's too many variables allowed during testing to come up with meaningful results to make a top tier list. Standardize the stadiums or make separate lists for each stadium.
There will be separate lists for each stadium.

We just got rid of the limitation on stadiums because if you're going to limit stadiums, you might as well just not bother with hasbro stadiums, as it's as easy for most people to get most stadiums as it is for them to get BB-10.
Lightning Force L-Drago Stadium

Earth Pegasus AD145WD: 10/20 (all OS) 50% win
Ultimate Gravity Destroyer 90MF Counter Mode Left Spin: 10/20 (3 KO + 7 OS) 50% win

Earth Pegasus AD145WD: 14/20 (all OS) 70% win
Ultimate Gravity Destroyer 90MF Counter Mode Right Spin: 6/20 (all KO) 30% win

Testing Notes: in right spin all of Gravity's losses were by a large margin compared to the slight OS in left spin. I guess I won't bother with right spin with Gravity anymore...

Edit: Tested D125 in my Gravity combo
Earth Pegasus AD145WD: 18/20 (all OS) 90% win
Ultimate Gravity Destroyer D125MF Counter Mode Left Spin: 2/20 (all KO) 10% win

Testing Notes: Wow, that was rather lopsided wasn't it? D125 is not good in my attack combo.

Edit 2/18/12: Tested the Gravity "Attack" clear wheel
Earth Pegasus AD145WD: 9/25 (all OS) 36% win
Ultimate Gravity Destroyer Attack 90MF Counter Mode Left Spin: 16/25 (4 KO + 13 OS) 64% win

Testing Notes: Just for kicks I went up to 25 rounds. @ 20 rounds it was still 35% vs 65% so things stayed pretty consistent even with the extra rounds.

Striker Stadium

Earth Pegasus AD145WD: 16/20 (2 KO + 14 OS) 80% win
Ultimate Gravity Destroyer Counter Mode Left Spin: 4/20 (1 KO + 3 OS) 20% win

Testing Notes: Striker Stadium does not appear to favor low spin tracks. 90 height Gravity is low enough for the metal wheel to hit the ridge of the pockets that are honestly high enough to keep anyone from getting many KOs. Both of Earth's wins by KOs were self inflicted from Gravity's recoil. I did not find that the flower pattern tornado ridge was helpful in keeping a flower pattern. The "dead spot" in the center often helped sling a stationary Gravity back into a very small attack pattern but by that time energy had been dissipated enough that the hits weren't very effective.
You mean the Lightning Force stadium right?? Because there's two stadiums with the L-Drago theme... LF and DD...

I edited to clarify and added Striker Stadium results.
Earth Virgo AD145WD vs. Twisted Bull GB145CS
Graffiti den, launches alternated, hasbro launchers, CS calm, WD slightly worn

Earth Virgo AD145WD: 12/15 wins (all OS)
Twisted Bull GB145CS: 3/15 (all OS)

Twisted win percentage: 20%

Earth being mold 2 with low recoil really helped it there.
I love 2 things about this thread (Sarcasm intented)
1: I've mentioned 3 times before that other Stadiums should have a separate teir list(s), yet everyone said "No".
But when 4+ people argue about what should have been happening.
THEN everyone agrees there should be. >.>

2: We've technically never kept a list of whats "good" or not, we expected everyone to use memory over a well kept list.

Glad to see things are changing now.
Haha, man what's with you and always needing to try to prove someone wrong?

They actually had two good tier lists, but then Basalt and 230 were found and it was too much for them to keep up with, testing wise.

Because when I say something, It's correct.
I wouldn't post if I knew what I would say is incorrect.

It wasn't to much to keep up with, "they" just decided to rely on memory since the Main list(s) was never truly kept track of. The "lazy" age of this thread.

Hahaha, I love that response, hilarious!

Funny, the second part is incorrect. They had sent me the two lists they had for Hasbro rules and non-Hasbro rules several times. I remember vividly the dilemma they had, and almost even went and bought a Hasbro Stadium to help out. Those members are no longer active, and productive testing subsided because of the erratic Hasbro releases and not enough people were able to find the necessary parts.

But complaining is really unproductive, let's look into what's best for the thread!

Funny indeed since I'm not incorrect about that,
But I don't see the how Hasbro rules have anything to do with the Teir list that was never updated that I mentioned.

On-topic:
I'm guessing that when Kerbecs and Poison Zurafa become more widely able to purchase to most.
We'll see more active members for this thread.
Updated my previous post with the "attack" CW testing. Good results. I'm going to start testing spin tracks as time allows.

It is kind of true... I mean I want to help you guys out with the testings and all. But if I don't know witch beys are currently hot my tests would be irrelevant. And it is hard for me to keep up with all those new and unworthy stadiums like the Grafitty stadium, triple battle and so forth. I have the Proper MXS version. And all the Maximum series hasbro beys. and more, But yeah can't do none because I don't know what i see. I see random combos slapped on each other facing other random combos. No disrespect intended.

I started with suggested combos from the "Build me a combo!" thread then change one piece at a time to see how things play out. Don't worry about the stadiums, test with what you have. There's too many Hasbro stadiums and no consistency with what you'll find in stores. Besides, the results can be radically different with the same combos in a different arena and people need to know that. So start testing, make observations and let us know what you find.
non gimicked MXS- launcher grip, string launcher.
ok did some formal testings with
Earth Pegasus AD145WD
VS Hades Kebecs BD145EWD 1-19
Pegasus win rate 5%
Kerbecs win rate 95%

VS Gravity Destroyer (attack vers.) 130M 16-4
Pegasus win rate 80%
Destroyer win rate 20%

What's your KO vs OS breakdown? Now that you have a base line you can change one part at a time and see how it affects the result.

Great! Good testing, now do more. I'm going to do some spin track testing this weekend with my son so look for some updates by Sunday.
Is twisted even top tier?

Earth Bull AD145WD vs. Twisted Tempo 145WD
Launches alternated, WDs switched, graffiti den, Hasbro launchers, WDs moderately worn, ALL OS

Twisted Tempo: 3 wins
