Hasbro Metagame Stadium & Combo Testing 2! Updates!!

We need more concrete tests on all the different attack tips: F, HF, WF, SF, HF/S, XF, RF, R2F, LF, LRF (was that even released???), are all examples. However, if you are going to test it for the tier list, do it in one of the recomended stadiums. Otherwise, test whatever you want in whatever stadium you want. All contributions are welcomed.
leon
That was released with ultimate meteo l-drago absorb.
When I get home, I'll do some MLD testing.
I have most of those tips so will try and do testing over the weeken what should i use as a benchmark defence combo, maybe twisted/earth aquario gb145 cs
I would perfer it if Earth was used for the sake of a benchmark. Twisted is so OP that it may disguise the true potential these tips have.
Thought so, will be able to test gravity and galaxy with these tips when i blade with my mate, till then ray, storm, twisted, burn?, meteo assault and cyber, will 20 tests for each be enough?
Of course. Please make sure you look at the posting test results thread for a reference to posting test results.
If you are going to tests diffferent tips, keep the beys constant. For example, Earth Bull AD145WD vs Rock Bull D125___. If you change the entire bey each time you change the tip, your tests will mean nothing, in this case.
@LeonTempestXIII
I do not know if you ever got that recoil list you wanted but here are some I find with much recoil for Hasbro
-lightning
-ray
-spiral
-vulcan
-gravity
These 5 are probably the wheels with the most recoil. I could also add poison however it is too light and does not win many battles.
i started testing the attack tips, this is going to be a long night of beys circling around the stadium, plus i have spring break this week :p i would still like it if apple did the tests as well just as reassurance

Is there anyway we can get this changed around some? With the world championships later this month this thread could be a really good tool for some. Ive been talking with the US representative and it would help him out greatly. And personally ive always been curious of the Hasbro meta. IM more then willing to help with this thread.
I'll admit it, I haven't even begun work on the tier list. I was planning on doing it over the whole of next week (Spring Break) and having it up by next weekend. PM me on Facebook and we can discuss this via chat, and build it from there together. I have a pretty good idea of most things to place on it.

So do I..

Hmm....I think most of that is right, although I myself need to research recoil itself a bit more. thanks.

An incredibly small portion of a combo list is up right now. A tier list has to many variables and is very vauge, and this meta is way to under-tested to have a full list of individual parts.
Some people pmd me about the OP. The updates to the OP have finished. Sorry for the choppy update.
Requesting someone to confirm MLD 100HF because I got some pretty nice results, and KOes.
Ok well tier 1 is only attack combos, what about stamina and defence, aquario is better than bull but if they don't have it they should use gasher then bull, lrf hasn't been released by hasbro and f?, i think you should keep it at hf and xf can't perform a sliding shoot so not much use unless facing another attack combo, need some defence combos involving bakushin, earth and twisted, also some stamina combos with earth, hell, burn and twisted, wd dominates in a hasbro stadium so usually there is not much need for cs so we will se what happens, can't wait to see these challenges, did i miss lightning when i was reading down this list and screw, meteo isn't a great attack wheel, it's good for spin stealing though, did some more research on wheels with recoil and i was going to suggest a few more but it looks like you are sorted, so has somebody tested all these combos or are you just guessing, are they in any order?
LRF has been released by Hasbro... From the Ult. Meteo L-Drago Absorb along with DF105.
I did say that this was a primative list. Hence why I said WIP. Attack needs more testing, and since the majority of defense stamina tiers will be identical to standard meta, attack is 1st priority

The combos listed there thus far have had enough extensive testing done. I am sure I missed some, but half of what you are complaining about has either already been explained, or is just not accurate.

Do not fret, more will be added to the tier list, in time

Lightning was supposedly thought to have quite less recoil as compared to other attackers, IMO.
I wonder how the recoil of different parts varies in different stadiums, though.
Still, I'd like to see verification on that Lightning wheel's recoil, or at least want a reason as to why it has high recoil, as generally, it is referred to as a "low recoil" attack wheel...
Right now I am in the middle of testing MF Cyclone Striker D125RF, is this a good combo to test for attack.
That depends on which mode you are using, and how much of Lightning is exposed. Upper is basicly the only useful mode, however it would not hurt to test both modes

I especialy dislike beywiki's lack of explination of mode change advantage. It simply states Upper is better, and there is no real explination as to why

Is this a question or a statement?

Posts such as this are rather unproductive. Not trying to be mean, but either post results and discuss results in general, or do not post.
And considering that Upper is supposed to be the most useful, I guess that is the mode in which Lightning is supposed to be in while testing? And hence, I guess that the list of the top 5 high recoil wheels was made considering Lightning to be in Upper Mode. But yes, you have a point, haha! Who knows, he might have decided on Lightning keeping in mind Multi-Hit Mode. Tongue_out

As for BeyWiki, I think someone will get to editing it in the future. The whole Lightning article was replaced a few months ago by me, in which I used a draft sent to me by Kei. Smile
Ok this might be an out of the way comment but i think one of the rules is flawed.
Quote:NOTE: Hasbro rules state that as long as a bey is spinning in the pocket, that bey is still in play. We will not follow this Hasbro rule for testing

Shouldn't we be following Hasbro rules? Because with the reasoning that if they go in the penalty pockets its a KO that kinda doesn't make sense. Reason im bringing this forward now is with the World Championships just 2 weeks away this list actually has more value. And with it not counting as a KO flaws the list.

The WBO will never use Hasbro stadiums. So it does seem relatively pointless for the KO rule. I just think that maybe it could be cleared up or something.
I'm guessing that if they go with that rule, Attack would manage to be more useless than it is currently..

WBO will never use Hasbro Stadiums and I doubt many of the more senior members in this thread will go to a Hasbro competition. (Maybe I'm completely wrong but yeah..)

Your very right Dan. I don't foresee anyone going to Hasbro competitions either. But if Hasbro does start to have tournaments again this list would have more meaning. I can see another World Championship considering 4D and Zero G are coming out. Maybe im just over thinking this.

We have a top tier list for everything else. Why not Hasbro? HMS, Plastics, MFB all have there on lists.
Hasbro 4D doesn't look as if it is any different than the HWS other than more MW modes.. With not having 4D bottoms and all..

Dumb move.. Anyway.
Woah WTF midnight and flame??? Midnight is terrible in any situation whatsoever.
Just a suggestion, I found lightning worked best on 100 and below.
Well Leon tempest is looking for beys with high recoil and midnight has that, also.ch120 is better for most attack types
