Hasbro Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

There you go.
It looks that the rip cord could be inserted in these hole in front to change the position to pull.
So I'm guessing this spells doom for Yielding and Orbit too?
I can totally see the Hasbro top tier list. It's only Doomscizor Gravity Revolve.
Hasbro U.S. website actually has Burst products showing now, but the "buy" button still doesn't work.

We've been talking about this for the past little while in this topic Smile
Yeah, saw some posts referencing the Canada website but not the US. It's the first time I have seen them on the US website.
Wow ... can't believe (actually, I can) they switched the Drivers for Nova Nepstrius and Yegdrion. Really says a lot about their attitude towards the game, especially since I can see them potentially never releasing Trans and Gyro now. So unfortunate ...

Still, I'm excited to see how parts like the Hasbro Minoboros perform.

"Beyblade Burst was already tacky to some extent"? Whaat? I think the design of the parts in Burst is beautiful overall! But yeah, the opaque splashes of paint and cloudy plastic definitely ruins everything.
For me, N2 ruins it. It looks like someone literally went to the bathroom on it. Blargh....

"Burst is beautiful overall." eeeeh, I think the original Horusood and Yggdrasil would beg to differ Tongue_out

I think the cloudier plastic looks way better on dual layers than on the single layers, it makes the colored plastic stand out more. I think the paint splashes are meant to make up for the lack of stickers?

(off topic but I just realized that the reason I like Horusood H2's two-tone scheme so much is because it's the same color scheme as one of my fav. american railroad liveries. (i'll go into my nerd closet now Tongue_out)

According to what Protoman told us, Hasbro only cares about cutting costs everywhere, so perhaps they did not find it worthwhile to produce Trans and Gyro...
Easy fix! Keep switching between Survive and Zephyr! Uncertain
I dislike all of these measures though, and this pretty much confirms Yeilding and Orbit should be gone too.
As per usual, I'm cautiously optimistic. I understand why they are keeping everything cheap, I just hope that Beyblade becomes popular enough that they ramp up the quality.

If Beyblade becomes popular as they skimp on the quality, I can't see them being incentivized to do a better job. Unfortunately, I sense that it will become an even bigger part of the WBO's role to direct people towards importing Japanese releases.
But even then, wouldn't we only get the Bladers who filtered through and were not turned off by the ugly colours and who are oblivious to the competitive parts lacking? Sure, once they discover, they will need our help. However, I think we are either going to get a similar number of fans come out of Hasbro's net of pass-or-fail, or less to begin with, so they might never reach us at all.

While I think the colors are pretty ugly, I don't think they are going to spell disaster for the toyline.

Also, the Beyblades in the anime still look cool! Although it makes Hasbro's strategy of changing everything about the toys totally impossible to understand.
I cant understand why they do more solid colors, instead of the more detailed fine colors that TT has, I just dont understand why they are CHANGING the colors. That takes way too much effort, and makes no sense.

To compensate for stickers. Protoman also told us that if Hasbro can do something to avoid having to print sticker sheets separately, that would save them costs. So the plastic used, which is 'cloudier', is probably different in some capacity to the one used by TAKARA-TOMY as well, and the paint is probably very cheap so they can afford to put more of it on tops to make you forget that there are suppose to be stickers, etc.
Really? Of all the Drivers they could've changed Ygdreon, Edge was considered the most suitable choice? I guess Survive or even Revolve were just too much for them to handle (even though we already have a Revolve from Hasbro).

Yeah, I don't really like the recolours. It just gives me a Sparks FX vibe to it (and I already hated it there) but hey, as long as we get some good parts, we should be fine. I hope we do get an Orbit...
I actually kinda liked the SparkFX recolors...

And I didn't... what's your point?

That you're both allowed to express your opinions and that since they're just opinions they're not inherently in conflict with each other? Nobody made you reply :)

Hasbro has definitely done some good recolors before. (rip phantom force)

I know we're allowed to express our opinions (I didn't even say otherwise) and I never really said that anyone made me reply but okay, if that's how you interpret it then whatever.

Yeah, I agree that Phantom Force recolours were really cool.
I was just putting in my opinion, not trying to start conflict. Smile

I'm saying you don't need to ask people why they expressed their opinion, because everyone obviously has the right to do so (and it's like 90% of what a message board is).
I'm definitely a fan of Hasbro recolors.... I'm almost done with Phantom Force, Metal Masters and Hyperblades. These look amazing.
Also things like the dark green double pack Ray Striker, the Hyperblades Blitz Striker with the stunning red energy ring and the citron track&tip.
I was Ireally impressed with Hasbro recolors, but they always had the anime-acurate ones as well up to Metal Masters.
For Burst... I'm not sad about dull plastic or the lack of stickers, and I'm not sad about slightly off colors and solid colored tracks. But... most of them look extremely off, and not "fancy color" off like the yellow-orange fruity Dragoon F. But "Diablo Nemesis is now a lemon in Hyperblades series" off.
I'm a bit disappointed tbh. They could have done a lot of cool changes...
