Please could you provide some more info on the prizepool? £15 is a large entry free, for a TCG event one would expect a participation prize for that amount. How is the prizepool going to be distributed? How many people will get something?

Let's assume we do meet the 64 player cap. The prize pool would likely look something like this but obviously everything is subject to minor changes. [EDIT] Shifted some numbers around and for 64 this would be the confirmed prize pool.

Participation prizes are difficult as a low cost items that are relevant to Beyblade are hard to source. We could definitely produce some of our own items so it's likely we'll dish out some stickers and other related goodies to all participants to commemorate the occasion. However given that there's currently no financial or product support for LGS running Beyblade tournament we'll have to get creative.
Really looking forward to this now, be great to meet other local bladers
Small change. Decided to move ahead with Swiss instead of RR Groups due to the complexity of having 8+ judges and stadiums active for our first larger event. Pretty much nothing will change for the players but just wanted to make it known for attendees.

EDIT: 14th Oct
Removed the Out of Bounds clause to avoid encouraging reckless launches which could pose a danger to participants.
It filled up so fast, imma have to miss another tournament lol. First it was camp and now it’s straight forgetfulness 🥲

Depending on how local you are, you might be able to just turn up in case we get some no-shows.

Oh, that makes sense lol. It’ll be cool to watch either way
How come the prepaying tickets are sold out? I was going to prepay this weekend as I'm not local
The Challonge tournament signup page is now open.
https://worldbeyblade.challonge.com/tour...sefuoeymlk

Participants can sign up in advance to track their rank for Season 0, get notifications when pairings are live and when their matches are and make predictions for the final stage winners.

Possibility of Rubber Accel being banned if it's wearing down very quickly/unevenly and is leaving a lot of debris in the stadium. Keep an eye on this thread.
So some extra details to make locating the venue a bit easier. You'll be looking for the student union building pictured below. We're on the 2nd floor once you get inside. My number is listed on the event details if you need any more help on the day.

Whereabouts in the university is it? Will I be able to find my way to it easily?

Yeah if you follow the images it's just off the main road so shouldn't be too difficult of a find.
