I don't have any tests to show, but I can say, that much like with Dranzer V2s BB, I never liked TC core's performance and also opted for Dranzer MSs MC core over it for taller attack combos.
Tornado Change doesn't do particularly well while in endurance and once it goes into attack mode, it's too weak to KO anything reliably.

kotahh: Dragoon MS was also a "Main" HMS bey, and it is rather hard to find, or at least, rather expensive.

It's a combination of over-production and lack of interest, in the end.

Of the HMS starter packs, which is the best purchase based on price and availability? I'm looking to get a launcher, but don't mind getting one of the useless HMS Beys if they are cheap, however if I have to pay a little more for a starter pack with more competitive parts, I don't mind.

To add: I know this will probably come down to buying Driger MS/Draciel MS/Gaia Dragoon MS so if those end up being essentially the only options, that's ok, but I'd just like to get as much info as I can before settling on that.

I only have one HMS bey that is Dark Leopard MS .Is it a good bey in competitive use?

An excellent Balance type bey customization would be Flame Capricorn 145WD. This customization has the maximum amount of Balance power that is possible in a Bey. It also has a high amount of Stamina and Defense power. It has very low attack power. It's a great winning combo! Use it as you please!

But how do we even know if it has Samurai yet?

15-20$? Get the common 3(Gaia Dragoon MS, Driger MS and Draciel MS) from dimsum2u. AFAIK, those are the only ones we can possibly get in less than 25-30$.

I've seen a few Advance Averazers on eBay hovering around the $15-20 price range.

Hard to say. None of its parts are top tier but the RC (of the takara version at least, apparently the hasbro one is hard to control) is a fun part to mess around with, and probably the best force smash RC, though force smash isn't really competitive. I can't really recommend the purchase, to be honest, as I'm definitely biased towards the bey, but IMO it's a fair enough price.

Honestly if you're in TBTS you need a rubber tipped attacker or something as far as I know.

TB is a great place to have a wolborg because it's defensively biased. BB-10 is very KO friendly so DEMS would probably be a slightly better choice (though wolborg still works extremely well in there apparently). If you're going to be using them both, then get wolborg if you can.
