This will be a team tournament. 3 people per team with an option for a substitute as a 4th player in the event 1 player isn't able to play during his or her match.If by the tournament day you don't have a team or haven't joined a team we will pair you with a team before the tournament starts.So rest assured you will be on a team. This tournament will be group round Robin. Registration cap will he held at 24. For a total of 8 teams. We will have the beyblade burst standard stadium b-33 available but we also recommend bringing your own for free play between rounds. You can register on challonge now for faster check in. Check in for the tournament will be held between 12pm and 12:45pm so we can promptly start the tournament at 1pm. Please try to be on time. If you are not present during the start of the tournament then you will be awarded a loss for that round. We will have prizes for top 3 players. Those prizes include the new random booster volume 23...

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.

7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian

If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.

8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited

Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.

All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

Honestly just depends on how this one goes. This is the first time someone has done a Ranked team tournament in years so there's gonna be a lot of kinks to work out, but we will be doing plenty of tournaments this year. Ideally we'll be doing a massive one sometime.

As for the teams, I believe Alex was keeping track of them earlier.

I heard firekingard wants to do another Classic. ssjr may do limited. And lots of standard burst tournament. With all these different types of tournaments possibly even a hasbro or Takara tomy only tournament.

I'm not super knowledgeable about Limited myself lol

But expect some Classic and Standard from us as well. Ideally it'd be like 2 tournaments a month. And if things improve in the state, we'll have more organizers coming soon and some over by Tampa.

Not this tournament since this is a team tournament I need to make sure my combo complements my other team members
So I wanted to formally announce that the team tournament will be unranked. We decided it was best given how there is some uncertainties around some of the rulings. This tournament will give us a good idea of how to run it effectively the next time we host another team tournament. Thank you for your understanding and can’t wait to you all there

We figured it would be a learning opportunity this way and it'd be better to start unranked than have something go wrong and everyone lose out on the points they thought they were getting.

We'll hash out all the issues this time, that way we can Rank the next Team Tournament.

That's understandable, I definitely agree with the call given the vagueness of the team rules. Unfortunately I'll have to drop, I can't justify coming down for unranked play. I'll be at the next ranked event there though.

Yea it does but it's free play at the point and the girl isn't taking going 7+ hours for free play.

For any teams who design their own logo, I will print it off and put it on some poster board for you like a little banner. I will also take a picture of your team with the poster board if you'd like!

For those interested, after the tournament I will be running a small tag team event only for those interested. I'm not making it an official unranked just in case we push for time or something goes wrong.

That being said, CitrusNinja will be bringing his b-50 wide stadium so we can do a mock tournament for a future ranked tag team festival which I plan on running myself. I will make an announcement the day of the tournament to remind you guys, so no pressure.
