Me/Raina/Pam/Aiden: Hey Valt!

(Hyuga runs up to us)

Hyuga: Do you guys wanna battle? I wanna practice!

Aiden: I’ll take you on!

Pam: Raina, let’s do some practice!

Raina: You bet! Percy wanna get a piece of me after I finish Pam?!

Me: Nah, I’m gonna do some thinking for my match.

Pam: Ok, just don’t overthink it.

Me: I won’t!

~In The Workroom~

(I start spinning around in the chair)

Me: What to do.

(Shu walks in)

Shu: Hey Percy.

Me: Hey Shu, can I ask you a favor?

Shu: Ask away!

Me: I feel like I need to upgrade Poseidon if I wanna win against Salamander, but I don’t know what to make. Can you give me some advice?

(Shu picks up Poseidon and starts examining it)

Shu: Well, if you wanna beat a powerful bey, you’ve gotta have a powerful counter. Poseidon is a strong attack type but don’t you think it could be more?

(I look at Spryzen’s chassis)

Me: Spryzen’s chassis is interesting.

Shu: It sure is. It has two modes, a free-spinning mode to disperse damage and a locked mode to power up its attack mode.

(I jump up in excitement)

Me: I know how to upgrade Poseidon!

Shu: Do you now?

Me: Yup, and it’s all thanks to you!

(Shu smiles)

Me (Thoughts): Poseidon’s gonna have balance!

(I start working on the upgrade part, Shu walks in with beybread)

Shu: Valt made some beybread, it’ll keep your energy up.

(Shu puts it beside me)

~2 Hours Later~

Me: it’s done! B Gear!!

(I attach the part on Poseidon)

Me: Now we’ll have ultimate balance!

(Shu walks in)

Shu: So, you finished.

Me: Yup, Poseidon’s now balanced! All thanks to you!

Shu: Please, I didn’t do much.

Me: Well, I’ve gotta get training before my match!

(I run off)

Shu (Thoughts): Well, he’s an interesting kid! Now, time to start working.

~The Next Day~

Hanami: Hello Bladers and Beyfans! Today, we’ll be finishing off the tournament with a bang! In A Group we’ve got our Blader From The Depths Of The Ocean! Perseus Nakano!!

(I walk out to the stage)

Me: I wonder how they come up with these nicknames.

Hanami: Percy will be facing Sulien Genji!!

(Sulien walks up to the stage)

Sulien: Are you ready to be burnt to crisps!

Me: Don’t you know you can’t fight water with fire?

Sulien: I’ll burn your water to ashes!

Me: You can’t burn water.

Sulien: Whatever!!

Referee: First battle!

Sulien: Get ready to lose!

(Sulien puts Salamander in ten bladed attack mode)

Me: With Poseidon’s upgrade I won’t lose!

(I put the B Gear in Freespin mode)

Sulien: Upgrade?!

Referee: Ready? Set!

All: 3! 2! 1!

Me/Sulien: Let it… rip!!

(Me and Sulien pull off Beyjitzu Launches)

Sulien: Burn! Blazing Holocaust!!

Me: No way! Vortex Spin!!

(Salamander slams into the B Gear, the B Gear starts spinning and disperses the damage)

Hanami: Incredible! With Poseidon’s new upgrade it’s blocking all of Salamander’s attacks!

Me: Counterattack! Hydro Jet!!

(Poseidon leans on its driver and speeds up, Poseidon catches onto the motorized rim and speeds off)

Me: Hydro Geyser!!

(Poseidon slams into Salamander, Salamander gets sent flying out of the stadium)

Sulien: *Gasps*

Referee: It’s Hydro Poseidon with a burst finish! Perseus Nakano claims 1 point!

Me: Yes!

Hanami: Incredible! Perseus has just picked up a fast win!!

Raina: Awesome!

Aiden: Keep it up!

Sulien: Looks like you’re worthy of my full power!!

(Sulien puts Salamander in Defense Mode)

Me (Thoughts): He’s gonna go on the defense, I’m going on the attack!

(I put the B Gear in Locked Mode)

Referee: Second battle!

Sulien: Poseidon will burn!

Me: Luckily, I brought sunscreen!

Referee: Ready? Set!

All: 3! 2! 1!

Me/Sulien: Let it… rip!!

(Me and Sulien pull off Beyjitzu Launches, Salamander takes the center)

Me: Flood Launch!!

(Poseidon hits Salamander with a barrage of attacks)

Hanami: We’re starting out with a strong barrage!

Sulien: Blazing Holocaust!!

(Salamander creates a huge fiery  tornado and blocks all of Poseidon’s attacks)

Me: Grr!

Hanami: All of Poseidon’s attacks are getting blocked!!

Sulien: Salamander!!

(Sulien’s Resonance Aura flares up Salamander blazes out of the bey)

Me: Knock it out! Hydro Geyser!!

(Poseidon slams into Salamander, Salamander gets sent flying in the air)

Hanami: Salamander has been sent flying!

Sulien: Rain Of Swordfire!!

(Salamander crashes down on Poseidon, Poseidon gets sent flying out of the stadium)

Me: *Gasps*

Referee: It’s Flare Salamander with a ring-out finish! Sulien Genji claims 1 point!

Hanami: Awesome! Salamander uses Poseidon’s attack to unleash a counter!

(I pick up Poseidon)

Me: Poseidon, how do I win?

(Poseidon’s eyes glow as I get pulled into a white void)

Poseidon: You're struggling.

Me: I’m barely hanging in there.

Poseidon: Concentrate! Keep your eyes trained on victory! (Don’t sue me Beyblade Anime )

Me: Got it!

(I get pulled out of the white void)

Sulien: I’m gonna take you down!

(I don’t respond)

Sulien: Are you listening?!

(My Resonance Aura flares up)

Me: Keep your eyes trained on victory!

Sulien: Don’t tell me what to do!

(Sulien puts Salamander in Attack Mode)

Referee: Third battle! Ready? Set!

All: 3! 2! 1!

Me/Sulien: Let it… rip!!

(Sulien and Me pull off Beyjitzu Launches)

Me: Hydro Launch!!

(Poseidon hits Salamander with a strong barrage of attacks)

Hanami: Poseidon starts off with a powerful barrage!

Sulien: Blazing Blitz!!

(Salamander speeds up and slams into Poseidon, Poseidon gets sent flying into the wall)

Hanami: Salamander has counterattacked!

Me: Now!

(Poseidon catches onto the motorized rim and slams into Salamander, Salamander gets sent flying)

Hanami: Salamander has been sent flying!

Sulien: Rain Of Swordfire!!

(Salamander slams down on Poseidon, Poseidon gets shot up in the air)

Hanami: Poseidon is sent flying again!

Me: Poseidon!!

(My Resonance Aura flares up Poseidon blazes out of the bey)

Me: Hydro Dive!!

(Poseidon crashes down on Salamander, Salamander bursts)

Sulien: *Gasps*

Referee: It’s Hydro Poseidon with a burst finish! With a score of 1-3, the winner is Perseus Nakano!!

Sulien: NO!!

Me: *Gasps* I won!

Adam/Raina/Pam: Awesome!

Hanami: Poseidon countered Salamander’s counter! Perseus Nakano is going to face the Legends!!

Me: Yes!

(Sulien storms off)

Sulien (Thoughts): Perseus Nakano, I won’t forget that name!
