When you look at Chronos, you can see that the spikes go in the opposite direction of Chronos's spin. Therefore, the spikes should not produce recoil and they may even add defensive value to this layer. It's similar to Wyvern in a sense.

Alter Chronus can be put to use in (Defense/Stamina Hybrid)  Balance Customization Alter Chronus 2/4/5/7/8 Glaive/Cross Atomic/Orbit.The heavy weight,good teeth and round shape of Alter Chronus makes this combo difficult to KO and Burst while due to the slopes present on the five blades it can also destabilize the opponent .While using 2/4/5/8 Glaive/Cross can give this combo better stamina,using 7 Glaive/Cross can give better KO and Burst defense.While using Atomic can give better stability,LAD and destabilizing potential,using Orbit can give more Burst and KO defense and More stamina to this customization.

Overall,Alter Chronus is a Top-Tier layer for Defense/Stamina Hybrid customizations but is still over shadowed by Maximum Garuda.So,Alter Chronus is not a must-have but a welcome addition to a blader's colletion.

Thus, if you're against a Orbit based combo and you have Revolve you are more likely to out spin the opponent. Again, if you don't have Atomic then Revolve is your best bet

Don't forget Orbit can destablize other beys and resist being very well too so against Atomic, Orbit would probably do better + Orbit is known to OS Revolves based combos by destablizing.  aC also doesn't have raw stamina advantage to other layers in meta to take advantage of revolve so I too think Orbit would be better

Who knows. They probably can't copyright certain things easily. It sucks, but that's a problem they've had with Transformers for years. (Trademarks come and go, necessitating name changes) And many of the names since MFB are probably harder to copyright in America (ex.: Big Bang Pegasis doesn't sound like it would fly, thanks to a certain show called "The Big Bang Theory", hence the laughable Cosmic Pegasus...though idk what difference the "I" and the "U" makes...meanwhile, no idea why L-Drago Destroy got switched to the even dumber sounding L-Drago Destructor). Then again, maybe for Burst, they just wanna do their own thing. (Ex.: abandoning the trademarks for Amaterios & Baderov/Baldur before they're even USED)
