Empire City Strikes Back!

Meet at the Beach Ball Stage in the Center of the Park
I have finally gathered up enough free time to host my first tournament. For this go-around, we'll be running Burst Standard. (Depending on how this goes, maybe Burst Classic next?)
Our current tournament date is Sunday, May 5th, 2019 at Irving Square Park for a Beyblade Burst Format tournament!
Important Information:
1. Tournament Registration begins at 11:30am.
Please plan to arrive at the park before registration starts. The later you arrive, the longer it will take to start the tournament.
2. The Tournament begins at 12:00pm.
You will not be able to register after 12:00pm. Even if you are joined to this tournament on this thread, if you are not registered by 12:00pm or arrive after 12:00pm we will be unable to fit you into the bracket.
Tournament System:
Depending on the number of participants we will use one of the following systems to run the first stage of this tournament:
Swiss (17 - 32 Players):
Bladers play 5 rounds. After the first round, bladers are paired based on their match history. Bladers with the highest records face each other, then the second-highest, etc. The top eight players advance to the final stage.
Double Elimination (33+ Players):
In Double Elimination, there are two brackets: the Winners Bracket and Losers Bracket. After losing once, Bladers are sent to the Losers Bracket. If they lose for a second time, they are eliminated from the event. Once both brackets have been completed, the top eight players (top four from the Winners Bracket, top four from the Losers Bracket) advance to the final stage.

Just wanted to let you all know that we may need an extra judge this coming Sunday. If you are well versed with the Burst Standard Rulebook or have judged before, please feel free to reply to this post or pm me.
Thanks!
EDIT: @[Vincen] It just occurred to me that I remember your dad judging at Yami's last tournament at King Games. Any chance you or your dad would be down to judge at Empire City Strikes Back?

I will judge to help but I'll battle slot still right?
Hello everyone,
After much thought and consideration, I have decided to place a 40 Participant Cap on Empire City Strikes Back. At the end of the day, I want to be able to run a smooth tournament for all of you. Given that this is my first time hosting, for that to happen, I need to have a reasonable number of participants that our judges and I can handle. That being said, if you are already joined to this tournament, you have nothing to worry about and have secured a spot for Sunday. If you are considering or have any friends that are considering in joining, please act fast as we are closing in on that 40 Participant Cap.

If it was on a Saturday I might've been able to do it. But we'll try to join one of the summer tournaments and help with prizes, and I really am sorry in advanced but I hope everyone in New York has an amazing time at the tournament organized by the amazing WBO staff!
No worries Zankye. Have a safe trip and see you at the next one!
If I can I’ll try because I want to battle a lot

Well, good luck! Fyi, all of you have to make your own WBO accounts to keep track of your rankings and to make sure that each person counts toward the Blader list. Also, do you have any of the recent Burst Beys? (God/Cho-Z/GT)

@[YutPut] Citrus brings up a good point. If your friends have not yet made WBO Accounts and have joined this tournament, I highly encourage them to do that soon. This Tournament is capped at 40 participants and we currently only have 5 spots left. Definitely have them sign up and join if they already haven't so they can secure their spot.

But if you're unable to bring it, that's totally fine, no need to worry.

My stadium is the yellow promotional one from Cho-Z, which I know is legal.I don't know if mine is legal because there are a ton of scratches on the walls and a few on the floor, which might affect the performance of the Beys a little bit.
