Does anyone know where I can watch the subbed version of Crossfight B-Daman?
Cross Fight B-Daman Anime Thread
I actually watched the English dub version of Cross-Fight B-Daman. The 1st episode was actually pretty good. I watched it on the Vortexx (A cartoon block on Saturday mornings on the CW)
Woop! First episode of B-Daman Crossfire came out in English dub this morning & I'm loving it so far. For some reason, I feel like the animation style is more mature than some of the other kid's anime recently...or maybe that's just because the art reminds me of another animation studio I like. Anyway, I'll be keeping up to date with this one.
I just watched it! Pretty cool, but the voices, not so cool.

Quote:Okay, so this is some sad news now.
Starting October 6th, a new anime takes the entire B-Daman/Beast Saga timeslot, titled "Ace of Diamond". Right now, there are no plans announced for either show to be moving to another timeslot, so we may have to prepare for the worst; as far as information goes September 29th, 2013 will be the last episode of B-Daman on Japanese broadcast.
Sadly, I can see the franchise ending. With the recent shuffling of releases, and them cancelling all releases in August, not telling anything about September...all the signs are there guys.
It's quite upsetting news as the franchise was promising and had a lot to offer, but it looks like it's reached the end of it's run after only two years. Queue the Hasbro spin-offs that make us want to hate the series.
EDIT: Just to confirm about "Ace of Diamond" as well;
EDIT 2: Takara-Tomy have revealed production will cease in two months time as well. Honestly, I didn't really see this coming; I honestly thought we'd have one more year of it.Spoiler (Click to View)
If the franchise is a huge success in North America, it would be a huge push episodes, if not in Japan, just in North America.
I think BeyBlade has it's work cut out for it if B-Daman gets enough attention, especially if it starts having tournaments of it's own.
It appears the anime will star airing on YTV in Canada starting September 7th: http://imissbionix.wordpress.com/2013/08...ember-7th/
So I'm kinda getting into this after watching some videos and getting the app, it looks really fun! so far my favorite is Dravise, can anyone find me a good deal on a Sonic=Dravise? at least less than $18!
It's worth asking Dimsum2u if he has any. He has the cheapest prices on B-Daman as far as I know.
Hasbro's uploading the anime to Youtube:
I can't believe they made Samaru a girl!! I was disappointed! they call her “Shigame?†unless I'm hearing things wrong in the show?
He doesn't have it in his store

It's pretty good!
Ruri is annoying and creepy as usual, and Rikki sounds like a five year old with a cold...actually, he sounds like Bull from Battle B-Daman.
Overall, I'm liking it.

They changed his name from Subaru Shirogane to Samuru Shigane. Samuru is still male. They only call him "Shigami" during Crossfire events because, if you notice, they refer to all players by their last names.

Ever thought of him having a FEMALE voice actor...? What were you expecting his voice to be like, SIMILAR to Kai of Beyblade? (I'm not saying David Reale but I'm saying some one who WOULD sound like him)
Everybody likes Ruri? I hate her!!!
Heh, sorry, but she bugs me so much.

Eh, Liena kinda got on my nerves. She was pretty much one huge sack of happiness. It's like "oh, hey evil guy, lets be friends."
"No."
(Smiles) "ok."
Sumi doesn't really bug me.
But Ruri...*twitches*

Eh she's not that great in my opinion and I also prefer Liena from Battle B-Daman than "Sumi"
In my opinion Ruri is a great character. She just wants everyone to have fun at Cross Fight and she's really badass not only when she fights those dragonbits to deliver the new gauntlets to the boys. I love it how she does everything she can to settle situations like fights among the b-ders and like that time when Daiki appeared. She might not be as strong as most of the boys but she sure has other more important strengths than physical power.
And I understand if you don't like Natsumi because she can be a bit mean sometimes but she cares a lot about B-Daman, too.
When the boys fought in the finale and Akira said that all they can do is to wait she went to the WBMA all on her own and even supported the former antagonist to join.
And she has a blog dedicated to marble shooters what more do you want? XD
It doesn't mean you must like them but they still have good personalities.

I don't find Sumi bad but whenever Shumon/Simon (Again I told you his name was gonna be Simon but you thought Syumon was it) appears she ALWAYS slides across bothering the poor guy. Now I realize she likes him but she always pushes him off in definite just to have a turn. As for Ruri I only like her in the Japanese ver, in English ver voice is a little creepy when she is VERY quiet. Liena is just a nicer character and does not go pushing someone off clumsily.

I kinda agree and also I don't like Aona that much because of how she has to own boys (what I mean is she always scares them when she's mad, always acts like she's the boss to them (even a serious person like Kagero). I also don't like how girls always scare boys in some anime and look stronger than them e.g. Aona scaring Kamon, Natsumi yelling at boys in one ep when it was her fault for getting wet, Natsumi scaring Shumon as you said MissKarat etc. but also there are other examples not from B-Daman. In Top Plate the girl with Antler Goat gives the main character leg torture, Madoka from Beyblade yelling at everyone scaring them (even Kyoya? COME ON!!!) etc Why do girls always look stronger than boys and scare them? And if anyone says stuff like "Ooo but it wouldn't be right for boys to scare/lash/own girls like that" here's my response to anyone who says this to me "And?! I don't care stop making the boys getting owned by girls"

What's wrong with them getting owned by girls sometimes? They yell at each other, too?
And Natsumi just doesn't know that Syumon is scared of girls in general (neither does Aona).
Natsumi treats him like every other guy (hell, she's just like that. I mean she even dragged Naoya along)
Also when Natsumi was falling into the lake it was because she was the one trying to fish while the others just played around with their new tune up parts and didn't try to help making food at all.
Yeah... Natsumi can be a bit scary sometimes but I actually love that a lot about her. She's not just the nice girl from Kakeru's class but she wants to be strong herself and get a talking B-Daman (and when that doesn't work at first she supports other people because everyone should have fun, right?)
Aona is Kamon's big sister and... they're just a pretty realistic family? Also Aona is kind of like the boss of them. She cooks for them and makes sure they're alright and she cares so much about her family and Ryouma too, long before Kamon even considered it possible that they could get him back...
Repeat after me: Aona is strong.
And Madoka has all right to shout at the boys in MFB, too. Kyouya treats her (and also his bey) disrespectful sometimes. Do you understand how much that girl works for the sake of the guys' Beyblades?
There is a lack of important female characters in both shows but the way they present the girls is really nice and they show that being good at playing with your stupid toy and behaving like an idiot does not mean that the girls just have to let that go unchallenged.
Edit: also Syumon is what it's written like on the official Japanese page... 'Shumon' was just used by the fansubbers. I never said it wouldn't be written Simon in the English dub...
I'm not sure if I'm getting too hung up over linguistic details here but 'look stronger than them' bothers me, because seeing these things happen in series context that means the girls /are/ 'stronger' than the boys in canon, in that particular situation. And what exactly is wrong with that?
Normal people do get angry when their rights are ignored, boundaries overstepped, requests denied and so on and so forth... It's not like any of these characters was screaming and bossing around 24/7. Yet somehow their few situations of perfectly human anger get them labelled as total bitches?
Besides, why are these girls getting judged on this scale right now anyway? I mean, disliking a character for their personality is fine and none of my business... But saying Madoka for example is bad for yelling at Kyouya, who hurts and abuses people on so many occasions throughout the series is kind of hypocritical.
Natsumi's not a girl who takes carp and she can be very selfish, this far I agree. She also goes out of her way to provoke on occasion, despite being a generally sociable and supportive character.
As for Aona? She takes on a mother role. Her mother is never home, one of her brothers disappeared and her other brother suffered amnesia for a long time. She handles all of that and on top of it keeps order in the house, even when her brother brings down a ton of other kids out of all sudden.
Besides, characters like Kagerou and Kyouya /let themselves be yelled at/. You made it sound (not sure if that was the intention) as if it were OOC for them to do so... However, it's the canon source material and it can't be OOC. The Kagerou, the Kyouya and so on who let themselves be bossed around by a girl from time to time are the only Kagerou and Kyouya and so on there are. It's their canon personality.
