I think i prefer F over RF since it has more endurance and more stability. but im gonna try wear down my RF on purpose just to see how it would react.

Firstly, aplogies to all those who have continued to express an interest in attending but have not seen or heard much progress on the subject. I'm honestly still not completely sure who does and doesn't want to come so I'm starting an all new thread (things get quite confusing when you try to organize tourneys in older threads).
Please post whether you can or cannot come, I'll add you to a nice, new attendance list in the first post so everyone can see what's happening. I am assuming that we have 8 or more attendess but if not I'll deal with that in a day or so.

Here's all the current tourney info, originally created by theflightyellz (thanks!):
Cold Combat
Regents Park, London
Meeting Spot: The Boathouse Cafe
12:00pm - 3:30pm
Regents Park has been the location for the last few WBO tournaments, and we've found it to be a good location, yet we felt a change was in order. The previous location was difficult for a lot of people to find, and was poorly located which made access to food and toilet facilities difficult. The new location will be The Boathouse Cafe.
The attached map should help you to find the location:
http://www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/regents_park/
The Boathouse Cafe is marked as number 5, and is heavily sign posted throughout the park. It is also marked as number 5 on all maps within the park.
We'll me meeting outside the Boathouse Cafe at 12:00, and will move to an area of nearby grass at 1:00 to start the tournament. The tournament will most probably go on until around 3:30, yet it could go on for less, or possibly longer.
We will be around for a period of time after the tournament, but probably not for a lot longer since the park will be pretty much pitch black by 4:30/5:00.
We'd recommend traveling to the event from Baker Street station, as it's closest to the event.
We'd also recommend that if you do intend to take part in the tournament, then bring your own beys.
This may sound like an obvious suggestion, but in the past people have come without, expecting to borrow other peoples.
This would not be a problem, but more than half the blades that have been lent out to people have either come back damaged from improper use, or not come back at all (as those who visited expo will know).
Obviously this has made people a lot more reluctant to lend out their own beys.
The entry fee will be the same as usual, free with a blader passport (£6 to buy), or £3 otherwise, and as usual there is no age restriction.
We hope you'll be interested in this tournament, and enjoy it as you have done with previous tournaments.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's pretty much all that needs to be said on the matter, if you have any queries, suggestions, or want travel advice, etc, feel free to PM me or post here. I'd say you could ask theflightyellz too but he's gonna be more busy lately so it's probably best not to disturb him at the moment.......he does know what he's doing though and would be able to answer questions if it was super urgent.
Really, really, really urge people to bring lots of layers, I've been in central London a lot lately and it is bloody freezing and will only continue to get colder, especially in the evenings.
Regarding lending out beyblades, I personally don't mind people borrowing mine but, for the aforementioned reasons, other people might not be so free with theirs so try to bring your own if you can.
Current attendance list:
- Rocky
- theflightyellz
- LeeDraciel

- ♥
- cutewolfsam
- revertedtozero?
- BLaDeZ
- Zero?
- Zero's mate?

- The tournament style will be block round robin, since this worked well at the last event.
- The main tournament will be MFB only, but free battles will allow plastic and HMS as usual.
We'd also recommend that if you do intend to take part in the tournament, then bring your own beys.

I think its a waste if you ask me
It's good to know that everything went well and that you all had a great time Also, congrats to those who placed!
Well after that tournament, i'm gonna need a new WB, or possibly a new blade, or obviously both
I think the plastics the MFB use are less durable then the plastic used in the plastic and HMS generations. my fmb tips seem to be getting worn down really quickly. but anyways, had fun at the tourny =). hope the next one is soon!
Linh, I think we need a bigger mat in future lol
yeah, and a more fluffy or softer one so that it can act as a cusion when blades fly out of the stadium. A large towel will be perfect.
Wb is illegal now? O_O.
No he means now that it is worn, i hope
wheres the pictures to or havent they been uploaded yett?
They haven't been put up yet.
Yeah, pretty sure he means if it gets too worn it'll become illegal. But I think with your WB it was more because you were ripping it really hard, causing it to move around faster...
Am curious to see pictures too, even though I think everyones gonna look a bit wet and bedraggled. >< The snow was pretty.....sorta..... Probably shouldn't have forgotten my own camera.

WB moves pretty quickly if you shoot it at full speed, so i'm not surprised to hear it was fast.
What has to be said has to be said sam lol.
I remember alex taking alot of pictures and lee took a vid but just wait Mortal Nerd

Pictures! Lots of big images, so ... (Click to View)
I'll upload videos later and send them to Lee, who'll probably do a compilation video.
Lol, hoods up all round. And so little colour.....pretty much sums up the day. XD Ah, but we still had fun. And the beyblades themselves were colourful at least.
Alex, I fixed up some of the descriptions, lack of spaces was making them appear funny and was bugging me. ^^;

I dont even know if my WB is worn out or not. at the tourny everyone was saying it was, so im guessing so. i think it was because when it was knocked out of the stadium it grinded against the floor.
@ <3 I no lol we forgot the group pic oh well we will get one next time. Yeah and just pm me the vid links or add me on msn, which ever is easier for you, i got some good footage too so should be a good one considering nobody wanted to film as it was to cold to take our hands out of our pockets lol so only problem will be that it may be a little shakey due to the shivering
K i beleive you all that IS cold.
