yeah but then you gotta pay the deposit and then delivery costs which run up the price a bit.

Firstly, aplogies to all those who have continued to express an interest in attending but have not seen or heard much progress on the subject. I'm honestly still not completely sure who does and doesn't want to come so I'm starting an all new thread (things get quite confusing when you try to organize tourneys in older threads).
Please post whether you can or cannot come, I'll add you to a nice, new attendance list in the first post so everyone can see what's happening. I am assuming that we have 8 or more attendess but if not I'll deal with that in a day or so.

Here's all the current tourney info, originally created by theflightyellz (thanks!):
Cold Combat
Regents Park, London
Meeting Spot: The Boathouse Cafe
12:00pm - 3:30pm
Regents Park has been the location for the last few WBO tournaments, and we've found it to be a good location, yet we felt a change was in order. The previous location was difficult for a lot of people to find, and was poorly located which made access to food and toilet facilities difficult. The new location will be The Boathouse Cafe.
The attached map should help you to find the location:
http://www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/regents_park/
The Boathouse Cafe is marked as number 5, and is heavily sign posted throughout the park. It is also marked as number 5 on all maps within the park.
We'll me meeting outside the Boathouse Cafe at 12:00, and will move to an area of nearby grass at 1:00 to start the tournament. The tournament will most probably go on until around 3:30, yet it could go on for less, or possibly longer.
We will be around for a period of time after the tournament, but probably not for a lot longer since the park will be pretty much pitch black by 4:30/5:00.
We'd recommend traveling to the event from Baker Street station, as it's closest to the event.
We'd also recommend that if you do intend to take part in the tournament, then bring your own beys.
This may sound like an obvious suggestion, but in the past people have come without, expecting to borrow other peoples.
This would not be a problem, but more than half the blades that have been lent out to people have either come back damaged from improper use, or not come back at all (as those who visited expo will know).
Obviously this has made people a lot more reluctant to lend out their own beys.
The entry fee will be the same as usual, free with a blader passport (£6 to buy), or £3 otherwise, and as usual there is no age restriction.
We hope you'll be interested in this tournament, and enjoy it as you have done with previous tournaments.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's pretty much all that needs to be said on the matter, if you have any queries, suggestions, or want travel advice, etc, feel free to PM me or post here. I'd say you could ask theflightyellz too but he's gonna be more busy lately so it's probably best not to disturb him at the moment.......he does know what he's doing though and would be able to answer questions if it was super urgent.
Really, really, really urge people to bring lots of layers, I've been in central London a lot lately and it is bloody freezing and will only continue to get colder, especially in the evenings.
Regarding lending out beyblades, I personally don't mind people borrowing mine but, for the aforementioned reasons, other people might not be so free with theirs so try to bring your own if you can.
Current attendance list:
- Rocky
- theflightyellz
- LeeDraciel
- linh004
- ♥
- cutewolfsam
- revertedtozero?
- BLaDeZ
- Zero?
- Zero's mate?
- legend Kai?
- legend Kai's mate?
- Blitz
- brazman?

- The tournament style will be block round robin, since this worked well at the last event.
- The main tournament will be MFB only, but free battles will allow plastic and HMS as usual.
We'd also recommend that if you do intend to take part in the tournament, then bring your own beys.

Can we discuss the actual tournament ...
Ughhh, exhausted and it snowed so much. I will upload pictures in a bit, just glad to be warm again.
Good turnout again, had great fun too. I am seriously poor at competitive play.
I wonder if anybody has ever had success with RF outside of their homes. ;[

So wish I came lol although i would of been 10th xD Then it started snowing and I wasn't out in it D: lol I must be there next time!
Just got back in, absolutely shattered.
As soon as the snow started getting in the stadium, my win streak just started going out the window :\
I was only two off of Lee though, so it could have been worse, had a really good time.
Really glad everyone could make it
edit: my silvers frame my face of the Wyvern

I tried my hardest not to ruin your rf lol
I don't think it was you lol ... too mint, I think. It's just so hard to get it right, this is exactly why everyone (myself included) picks Stamina, because there's little or no danger of encoutering a strong Attack type.
I hope you enjoyed playing with MFB BLaDeZ ... hopefully changed your mind about them. ^^

yeah I definetly have lol and thanks for letting me use your beys
oh and sam
oh and sam
I have had success with RF.
The key is that it needs to be very worn down lol. Then it works quite well.

Yeah me and Linh was thinking the same thing today, i might try it for the next event.
My RF that doesn't even have an indent anymore is the one I would pick for tourney's.
I had a really worn down one too, which normally works alright ... must have been too worn today; it just wouldn't move. ;[
There's quite a specific condition for RF I should think, I remember when I could keep it in with a full strength launch with absolutely no problems.

Even worn down it's not the most reliable part. Bit of a gamble when you use it.
no khel seriously, his rf wouldnt move at all when i watched his battle
Yeah Alex do you remebr at the tourney every time i used S.Pegasis it always went stadium out with a hit it just whet sliding shoot gone like with linh.
Should be, but freakish tournament conditions said otherwise lol.
Like Lee's Pisces125D, flame libraT125ES's out spinning virgoDF145SD's, RF's just going weird, WB's going in to attack patterns, F and HF based combos consistently knocking out LibraC145WB's.
Was chatting to ♥ after the tournament, and I don't even know how much of beyblade is strategy anymore.
Some freakish element of luck seems to have a bigger factor.
Either we need more reliable parts, or we just have to take different strategies for tournaments like using F's instead of RF's in less controlled conditions.
The Japanese have been doing it for ages, and we've never really questioned it, we've just assumed that they're all mental.
