Serious question? All I've seen are people screaming "troll" whenever someone asks this question. This is a popular beyblade forum yet the "experienced" people here can't explain to someone why requires skill. It's like yall got the keys to the gym or something.
Can someone logically explain to Mr Mack how Beyblade requires skill?
The skill lies in the launch some beyblades are better when weak launched (i.e. Fafnir) and attack types must be bank launched or they would be useless. Strategy comes from part combos.

It seems that fate or just randomness determines the winner. Yaddamean duke?
Beyblade is all about premeditated strategy.
Since there's no interaction after launching it -- the game's skill is almost completely based: on knowledge of the parts, the opponents' gameplay, and overall strategy before the match starts. While launch technique, launch power, and overall luck is important; the mind-games involved, the knowledge of the current competitive landscape, and making the right choices almost completely determines how skilled you are.
I think of it like a glorified Rock, Paper, and Scissors with a touch of luck dashed in -- albeit a lot more expensive.

If you consider it like a glorified RPS I guess that means you admit its mainly luck?

Skill (noun)
1. the ability to do something well; expertise.
"difficult work, taking great skill"
2. a particular ability.
1. Beyblade can go either way: skill required, or non-skill required. I would say it's non-skill required because it depends on knowledge. For example, each launch technique requires thinking and results. Another example is disc/frame weight, which is just knowing how much each disc/frame weights (possibly memorize it if you want to).
2. Anyone can Beyblade, so it isn't a particular ability. Sure, you may have strength or a great mindset. But that's a physical trait that can be used in any other sport/activity/hobby. I have a friend, who I compare to Rantaro. He knows nothing about Beyblade, but he still beats me because he is stronger (He plays Basketball and Football for hobbies). He even beat me with Trident.D.P, a trash combo.
