Now I'm debating if I will still go just to meet people. I don't want to go all the way down to LA for nothing, and i was looking forward for this too... Crying
You should go and establish yourself in the community. If you show up without an official tournament, that shows your dedication to the game so future tournaments will be considered.

Also, you can study your opponents because no doubt whoever still shows will go to the next official event.
Agreed, actually, I'll just go then. I might bring my attack stadium. I have nothing better to do and i just want to beybattle.
Will people still be going to compete? I'm sure if we all bring stadiums we can still play!!!
You should definitely bring your attack stadium! Not everyone has them.
I'll still go just because I am that dedicated and prepared. I'll have my stadium with me. I feel like not only beyblading but also to meet fellow bladers.
Now that's real blader spirit! It's not about the prizes or the points. It's about the dedication and will to play.
Now I feel pumped!! XD I can't wait!!
I'm still going to be there, but I'm still waiting for a reply from Kai-V, so If you come, I might battle you!!
Stealth, bring your stadium, too.
I won't forget that. That's the first thing you need to play with your Beys!!! I'm also waiting for Kai-V to reply since I suggested to limit how many guest I would accept over there, or just cancel the event completely.

EVERYONE WHO IS STILL COMING, BRING A STADIUM
I can still buy a passport, right?

Hmm, I didn't think that through. Let me PM Kai-V about it.
Hi, this is Deikailo posting from Taiwo's account. I got in touch with him and it appears he shall be late due to transportation and parental issues. Right now, we're all ironing out the details.

Just letting everyone know that it's not actually Taiwo online in cause anyone is accusing him of ignoring you guys.
He'll be able to make it?
Kai-V told me changing the time would make the people who already read to be at 12 and didn't see the time change, they wouldn't show up.
I suggested doing two tournaments: one restricted round robin event or a single elimination tournament followed by the actual event at 3. The restricted event or single elimination would just be the warm up event used as a stalling tactic until Taiwo got there.

I could still walk everything through it all, too, but this isn't my decision to make.
If a tournament is to happen at the same place as this one because this one is canceled, then it has to be at the same time (around 12 PM), otherwise it cannot happen. I would definitely not approve it, and it could not be discussed anywhere on this board and we would not be endorsing anything that happens at that tournament.
Okay, so should I change the topic to update it with Taiwo's situation as well or do you want to?
Well, if the tournament is not going to happen, i suggest people ahould just go to meet and battle.
A tournament is still happening, it's just not promoted a lot.
Taiwo will be there around 3pm. Call me if there are any problems. I'll help as much as I can:

honestly, everyone who was planning on going should just go anyway, it'll be fun. plus, it just means more time for free play. There are a lot of people who were planning on going, we could just start a tournament on our own or something. Honestly, prizes or not, it would be nice to meet everyone and blade a bit. It shouldn't really be about the prizes anyway, when it comes to beyblade it's about community. I'll definitely be there guys, I'm sure I could learn a thing or two from you guys. Whose with me?
I NEED PEOPLE TO BRING BLANKETS FOR US TO PLAY ON. YOU DON'T NEED TO BRING THEM UNLESS YOU WANT YOU BEYS TO GET GRASS STAINS ON THEM
