Neil Wrote:here's what i can say..
1. 3rd best blader? im happy coz i made my family and country proud. it made me prove that beyblading can make a good family bonding. it paid off all the hardwork and failure that i have encountered on my beyblading journey. being 3rd is something that reminds me that there's still a lot more beyblading to do and learn. actually, it's not what place that get, it's how you have gained and played it. winning and losing is a part of it.
2.actually, i never had a strategy.. we dont have blue stadiums in our country.. in the Philipppines, im known for having my originality.. i just use 1 to 2 beys every tourneys. for me, i have to be one with my bey that im using coz the thrill is there, winning with just one combination all throughout the whole battle.. its an honor to win with that kind of attitude for me. in the world championships, all my fellow bladers there were switching combos every round.. i only brought with me 3 beys coz i dint know also that that in every round, we can change beys.. in my case there, they knew what bey im gonna use already.. im like an opened book there. my beys can easily be countered.. but i just let it happen.. i have to be the Neil that my fellow bladers knew me for.. I have to have my own identity in terms of beyblading. that's what they like about me. i may not be the world's best blader, but i can be the best that i can be..
3.it's a tricky stadium.. my bey got stucked on some dents while i battle with ryo. it's cute coz it has prints on it that stadium is ideal for stamina and attack too. for me, it's hard.
4. everybody there is a national champion.. so they are all professional bladers for me. they're all good.. indonesia, japan, hongkong, singapore are tough bladers too! actually, asians are very good in beyblading because the training and tourneys are all based on rules.in the Philippines, we have the "foul" and it gives you minus points..we have fence for stadiums so launching is really not that easy, balance and focus is a must. you can notice, most of the asian bladers are serious when battling, quiet and concentrated.. we have toy distributors that facilitate tournaments and they add rules and always improve rules. Japan has got a lot of strategies and combos for every round that's why he won. I could've done that too, using different beys, but i have to be the Neil that im known for..wether i win or lose.. i have to win with just 1 or 2 combos.. exciting!
and.. i dont know too that it's allowed to change beys for every round.. i didnt bring any bey with me..
attack stadium right? it's mf2 basalt aquario 230 sd.. just like what im always using.. and what i used at Dufferin.. my 1st favorite combo, which i used in the world championships is mf2 burn virgo 90wd.. and mf2 helll aquario bd145rsf.. those are my signature beys that im always using.
6.in the Philippines, Bankee Trading started the season 2 competition for the qualifying for the world championships. they do tournaments there at toys r us and toy kingdom (toy stores) every weekends. i became the first champion. there is a rule there that if you win already, you cannot join temporarily in the next tournaments while the qualifying every weekend is taking place to give chance to other bladers. every weekend, saturday and sunday in every branch of the toy stores in manila, there is a winner.. so every weekends, around 10 bladers qualifies for the grand tournament. until feb 28, the grand tournament day.. the day im officially announced to be the representative of our country. there's 200 kids that joined as "walk-in" and 100 champions that qualified already. we used wide square arena, yellow attack stadium and tornado stadium. when i battled for the finals, ( with Coco Chua ) he's a good friend of mine, our families are great friends too.. he scored 2 already.. but it was best of 5.. and it turned out that luck was on my side that day. all my friends there are so happy for me.. we have solid support system and im glad that even parents are proud that i will be representing our country. even our town mayor and congressman gave me a courtesy call at the city hall and included me in a program and announced to our townsmen that i will be representing the country. they made me and displayed tarpauline in our town which inspired me more because they all love and support me. even in my school, all my classmates and teachers, preists, school scientist, my coach ( im a varsity, i play football player too).. they all made me feel powerful big time! they were all proud of me.. they were supporting me all the way. and maybe because they all believed in me, that's why i had the opportunity to represent the Philippines.
7. Blader Ken is very friendly, we stayed at the same hotel, we had the chance of eating and bonding together. He was amazed when he saw my beyblade collection ( from photos) .. he even told me that i am a very good blader and i have a very good attitude. He told me not to be shy too, coz i am.. he shared with us his activities in japan, he is dubbing for beyblade series.. doing voice overs.. he's amazing!
fro the fun questions..
i like to eat...
egg
quarter pounder from mcdonalds
broccoli.. i love to eat vegetables
corn
peanuts
barbeque
french fries
dumplings
i like chinese and japanese foods
im not picky with foods..
yeah.. Canada is very cold, when i was at Duffferin Park battling.. i cant feel my fingers anymore.. but im loving it!
yes, i did make new friends here, and those are you guys.. friends from WBO.. Jesse.. is like a big brother.. you, like a big sister..everybody there.. and im looking forward to meet more new friends..
yes im excited! there's a lot of tourneys there.. but they're proud that i had the chance to join in the WBO tourney..
yes.. i really had a great time here.. beautiful place, friendly people, very clean and green.. nice parks.. trained dogs everywhere.. skateboarding.. traffic rules here are awesome! and a lot more to know...
WBO tourney?... it's hard.. you guys used 4ds... my combo can easily be countered.. WBO tourney is very diffrent from ours.. nice experience for me. what's good about WBO is that you can always decide based on what's going on.. very felxible!
my favorite.. is GRIGIO.. my burn-virgo combo.. because we had so much fun with good memories.. even my basalt aquario, we are like one when we battle, it's as if he's doing what im thinking.. what i used in the world championships are the beyblades that brought me to where i am now that's why i will always be using them even if i lose.. they deserve to be famous.. they're my own customisation.. i dint get combos on the internet. for me, its not just always winning, it's how you played the game. it has to have an inspiring story behind every battle..
And there you have it.
