About the WBO

Beyblade has always been about skill, strategy, and the thrill of the battle—but Beyblade X3 takes it to the next level. This isn’t just a fight between bladers; it’s a clash of teams, where synergy, trust, and coordination are just as important as the power of your Beyblade.
In this electrifying 3v3 format, every match is a test of not just individual strength, but how well you and your teammates can adapt, strategize, and win together. No one carries the team alone—every launch, every battle, every point matters. One blader falls, the next one steps up. The question is, can your team hold the line and claim victory?
The competition is fierce, the rivalries are real, and only the strongest teams will rise to the top. Bring your best Beyblade, trust your teammates, and get ready to Let It Rip! (Go Shoot, if you will)

🔹 3v3 Team Battles – Teams of three compete, rotating through an order set in secret.
🔹 Unique Beyblades –  One single beyblade per person with no repeating parts across your team.
🔹First team to 12 points wins!
  • Spin Finish – 1 point
  • Knockout/Burst Finish – 2 points
  • Xtreme Finish – 3 points

🔹 Winning the Match: First team to 12 points wins!

🔹 Player Reordering: If no team reaches 12 after all players compete, teams can reorder their lineup for the next rotation.

🔹 Coaching Rules: Encouragement is allowed, but direct coaching isn’t!

🔹 Match Limit: Maximum of 15 rounds—if no team reaches 12, the higher-scoring team wins.

🔹 7 Rounds of Swiss – Every team competes in multiple matches, meaning one loss won’t send you home. The Swiss format ensures balanced matchups, so you’ll always be facing teams with similar records. No eliminations in this phase—every match counts!

🔹 Top 8 Advance – After the Swiss rounds, the best-performing teams will move on to a high-stakes single-elimination bracket, where only the strongest survive. One loss, and you're out—win or go home!

In Beyblade X3, ranking is all about tracking your team's performance and progress over time. Every tournament your team competes in contributes to your overall ranking, and it's all tracked through Challonge.
Each tournament you participate in adds points to your team’s total score based on how well you perform. Whether you win or lose, your scores from matches and events will be reflected in the rankings. The more you compete and succeed, the higher your team climbs on the leaderboard.
Rankings are updated after every event, giving teams a transparent view of where they stand compared to others in the Beyblade X3 community. It’s a great way to see which teams are consistently performing well and who’s making strides toward the top.
So, whether you’re chasing that top spot or just having fun competing, your results in every tournament count toward building your team’s reputation and legacy!

But how do I know who are my teammates and was I able to join eggball’s team?

I think Boogie said something about it on page two but I don't remember what they said
Boogie was I able to join eggball’s team?
Frisk291

It's essentially 3-on-3 but individuals control each bey. After every match the next player in the line will go until all three have played then they will reshuffle. I hope this answers your question.  Tongue_out_wink

Hi Kevin. I understand your excitement for tomorrow but please remember to no spam the thread! Ask your questions and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can! Eggball has accepted you as his teamate and your 3rd might be Zom-X. I will tell them to DM you if you would like to discuss combos and strategies.

When we register over there at the church what do we do
Yesterday we held the FIRST 3 team tournament in Chicago with a whopping 14 teams! We played round robin in two randomly assigned groups, with the top two teams of each group moving on to the finals! Following the X3 Format rules above, we had a long, hard fought battle, but Team KSO (Me, Frisk291, Plot Armor) Took 1st! Team Spin Gin Circuit made their way to 2nd, and Team Third Place (actually their name) took 3rd! Wanna thank everyone for coming out, playing, and giving so much good feedback! There will be changes made in rulings based on this tournament as well as more to come! Stay tuned for next April!
