WizardRod is a very dominant part, however it does not need to be banned throughout this event. 9-60 is not as overly dominant but it's still a solid choice. Neither WR or 9-60 will be banned as the meta will still be in development leading up to Starlight Showdown.

We will be playing in the default Takara Tomy X stadium for this event.

Hello bladers! With less than a month left until the event, there has been a bit of excitement as we come together to fight to the top of this region. While this is all great fun, we need to establish ground rules to ensure the event is safe and runs smoothly with little to no issues.

Play Area & Shelter

Due to the large number of players attending it is highly recommended that you bring chairs to sit in the surrounding area so that the shelter isn't crowded with people. As stated previously, the maximum capacity for the shelter is 65 so doing this will ensure we do not potentially go over the limit. Chairs and tarps will not be provided by the Organizers.

Players are not allowed in the dedicated play area where matches will take place unless you are one of the following.

• A Judge
  
• A Player with an active match
  
• A spectator
  

Players with matches may have up to 2 spectators. Some other people may be allowed into the play area under other circumstances. Otherwise, these are the rules that are expected to be followed.

Match Information & Communication

We will be playing 6 rounds of Swiss.

To keep things organized, 4 matches will be called out at once in waves. You will have a total of 3 minutes to show up at your designated stadium otherwise your match will be counted as a loss. Before each callout, there will be a call for attention. You are expected to remain silent and pay attention during this announcement phase. Once ended, you are free to continue free play and conversing with one another.

If you aren't going to be present for a short amount of time in the event you need to use the restroom or grab something from your car, you need to let the head organizer know (Cindercast) when you are leaving, how long you may take, and when you come back. If it is an unreasonable amount of time that gets in the way of the event, any match of the person will be registered as a loss.

The judges will be preoccupied with ensuring we all have a smooth event. In order to keep this the status quo, DO NOT ASK WHEN YOUR NEXT MATCH WILL BE.

Player Responsibilities
As a player at Beyblade West, you are expected to do your part in order to keep the event running smoothly.

1) Thread Updates
All updates will be posted on this thread. Ensure to check it regularly, especially as the date comes closer.

2) Ensure that you pay attention to announcements.
Every call for attention is important. Ensure you are silent during the announcement phases of the event. Feel free to raise your hand about any questions you may have before the event starts. When you hear your name called for a match, you will have 3 minutes to be present at the stadium you were called at.

3) Your property and wellbeing
Keep your property safe and secure by any means you can. The Organizers and Judges at Beyblade West are not responsible for any damage, theft, or misconduct of your parts. Additionally, we are not responsible for any potential injury regardless of degree.

We do not promote intentional misuse or harm from any bladers. If there are any issues, please let me know so it can be situated with as swift as possible.

4) Attendance Fee
Ensure you have the $5.00 admission fee. Those who show up without the registration fee will be unfortunately denied participation.

5) Communication
You are expected to be in contact with Cindercast regarding any Beyblade West issues. This means if you are going to show up a little bit past registration, if you won't be present momentarily, or any other reason that involves keeping the event running smoothly.

No, there will not be a chance for a participant cap raise. There is a waitlist you can register for (will probably end Aug 1). You can shoot a DM here or on Discord (Cindercast) to register for it.

IMPORTANT - Final Stage Changes & Waitlist

After a vote in the West Coast Discord Server regarding the amount of people for final stage, we will be increasing the top cut from 8 to 16.

To make it clear the waitlist means that you will have to show up on the day without a guaranteed spot at the event. After registration, those on the waitlist will be accounted for an added to the event in place of absent registered bladers. YOU DO NOT HAVE A GUARANTEED SPOT. All players registered have reserved their right to participate.
