Yes, that's right! I am back writing, yay! Now, before you panic, I am sad to announce my other series of stories have ended. But, do not worry! I am making a new series called....
The Alpha Kids!
So, without further ado, I'd like to begin the story. Here we go...
Prologue:
"It's just a stupid game, right? What could go wrong?"
I will never be able to take those words back. I regret even thinking of them, for, I was completely wrong in judgment.
It all started when I downloaded this computer game my friends were talking about. They called it "Battle Frontiers".
The title surely lived up to its name. Now, we're locked in combat for the rest of our lives. Until we defeat the final boss, we're stuck in this hell, battling evil, mind-controlled bladers, only to watch them wither away and die.
But, I don't plan to give up in here.
My name is Kenny Vantas. And with my partner, Nuclear Cancer AD145D, we are going to make it out of this world alive. We make up one of twelve bladers called "The Alpha Kids".
I will make it out alive, even if it's the last thing I do! Let's go, Cancer!
Chapter 1:
Enter, Kenny Vantas
"The sales for the new game, Battle Frontier, have shot through the roof--"
I shut off the TV with a sigh and rolled my eyes. That new game seemed so overrated. You battled through worlds with your bey. Big deal, it's a cliché topic, done over and over again.
"That's so stupid..." I mumbled, getting up from the couch.
I went upstairs to my room to change from my sleep pants into my normal clothes. But before that, I brushed my teeth and combed my black hair. Although, I don't really see why I did it. It always stayed kind of messy. I also took a second to stare into my green eyes, like always, but soon looked away.
As I washed my face, I thought about my plans for the day ahead. First, go see my girlfriend Tabitha. Then, we head over to Carlos' house and meet up with him and our other friend, Tommy.
I went to my room to change into my favorite outfit, a candy red t-shirt, black jeans, and converses which were red with black details. I strapped on my black, fingerless gloves and put on my bey-belt. Then, I grabbed my phone, launcher, and beyblade. From there, I ran downstairs.
"Later mom!" I shouted as I grabbed my skateboard and helmet.
I ignored what she said as I hurried out the door and onto the sidewalk. From there I began to run and then through my skateboard out in front of me, only to hop on it.
I then skated down the street. About thirty seconds into the ride, I took out my phone and called Tabitha. She answered almost right when I called.
"Hey!" I said when she answered.
"Oh, hey Kenny." She responded.
"I'm coming over. Are you ready to skateboard with Carlos and I?" I asked, turning to corner on my board.
"Yeah, Libra and I will meet you outside in a second. Later!" She responded.
"Bye." I said, handing up the phone.
I looked up to see I was almost at her house. And, there she was. Standing at the edge of her lawn, waving. I smiled and sped up.
I kicked the end of my board, causing it to go up, and for me to stop. We were right in front of each other. I smiled and put my arms out, only to be greeted by a hug.
She pulled away, revealing her outfit. A teal, sleeveless jacket with a black shirt under it. This was only to be added to by a pair of regular skinny jeans and teal converses. She has her dark brown hair straightened. But, all I really noticed were her beautiful sky blue eyes.
"You ready?" She asked, snapping me out of my hypnosis.
I nodded. "Yeah, c'mon."
We both grabbed our skateboards an headed for Carlos' house.
A Few Minutes Later
"What is up my brother and sister?!" Carlos asked as we got to his house.
Carlos, as usual, was sitting on his lawn with his brother Tommy. Tommy looked up from his book to us. He waved.
"H-hey guys!" He exclaimed as we got over to him.
Carlos stood up to give me a high five.
He had on a light purple sweatshirt with light purple poka-dotted sweatpants, and a pair of light purple Vans. His black hair was in a mess, as always. He has always been obsessed with light purple. Even his eyes were light purple.
Tommy had on an orange t-shirt with a black jacket over it, a pair of baggy jeans, and a pair of old, worn-out, orange tennis shoes. His normal light brown mohawk was the same. His light brown eyes didn't change either. But, the poor kid was confined to a wheel chair.
"Alright my brother and sister," Carlos said, going to get his skateboard. "It's time to skate the board. You catch my drift?"
Tabitha and I both nodded. Soon, we were out in the street, messing around on the ramps we built as Tommy cheered behind us. Doing ollies as we soared through the air, grinding on small steel beams. It was fun.
Well, until a rude visitor showed up.
The girl wore a sky blue, strapless dress that was torn at the bottom and a pair of sky blue flats. Her long brown hair was curled, as usual. All of this was topped with a devilish set of ice blue eyes.
Tabitha's evil step sister, Veronica Serket.
"Tabitha Pyrope!" She exclaimed, laughing. "Eat beyblade!"
She laughed even more, launching her bey, Venom Scorpio, at the ramp Tabitha was on. This knocked her down onto the hard road.
I stopped everything I was doing and ran over to Tabitha. I helped her up. Thankfully she had no cuts or scratches. Just a few bruises.
I looked back up to Veronica. She always had to ruin the fun by hurting my poor Tabitha.
Veronica was on the other side of the street, laughing, as her Scorpio spun around her. I got up and ran over.
"Veronica you jerk!" I shouted. "Get lost!"
I readied my bey in anger. This made her laugh more.
"Come at me if you're so mad!" Veronica shouted, still laughing.
I growled and launched Cancer in anger.
"Destroy her, Cancer!" I shouted.
I will try to post new chapters as soon as I can! Thanks for reading!
Oh, I will be posting a poll around Chapter 6 or 7 so you don't go "judging a book by it's cover" before it gets good.
I Have No Idea What I'm Doing With My Life Right Now
