This will be my first tournament, I was wondering what the rules were on taking a friend/partner. Would they also have to pay entry if they're not competing or can they just come as is? Sorry if it's a silly question!

Hey thanks for the offer, I use Challonge for TCG tournaments which I TO and judge, very familiar with the setup. Will use the discord if I have any questions.

That would be a question to ask the store directly, I handle the TOing of the event but that would be a decision for the staff. You can find their contact info in the link to the event on facebook.
