Phantom Orion is such a good buy. Man I love that wheel.
Beyblade Random Thoughts
It's pretty much next on my list, too, even though I do really need to get Vari. I'm not really super interested in Stamina, or at least I wasn't, but Phantom has been interesting me...
Get Phantom. You'll be impressed by its attack usefulness, as long as you have MF-F, the Cancer CW, AD145, and RF.
Phantom Orion = New Hell Kerbecs

I have a feeling that Phantom is going to be spammed at the tournament i'm going to on Saturday...
You have variares. Just practice that launch and KO it or whatever.
It's pretty dominant everywhere, right now.
It's a great wheel, but it's usually not *super* great against attack. Though MF-H Phantom Cancer BD145CS is a very good defense combo, I'd rather face that than Basalt in the same setup.

*goes to buy Phantom Orion and SBS*
lol I wish my grandparents would do that XD
But eh, I get enough on Christmas already (I'm almost guaranteed EVERYTHING on my list, and it's a pretty big list :s)
Oh, and I plan on buying a Jiraiya MS pretty soon :3

Oh, I didn't already buy them; I just threw that in for humor or something
Do I want to get the UDXS for testing and actually be a useful person, or get the SBS and have good parts? Hmm...
Others will test the UDXS. You should never feel pressured to get something you do not think you are sure about just to contribute, especially when such a huge amount of money is involved.
Like I said in the Purchase Consultation thread, the UDXS still comes with S130, MB, 230, LRF, 90, and WF, so they'd compensate if none of the Beyblades are good.
You know what? My parents said I can buy one now and get one for Christmas, so what the heck, I'll get the UDXS.

No, seriously... Phantom is amazing, Blitz is Amazing. B: D is awesome.
s130: eh, mb: eh, 230: outclassed, lrf: not that important any more, 90: outclassed, wf: still only good in like one combo that also requires th170 anyway so yeah

It's interesting though, that some parts become useful long after their debut. If there had been a set that came out with R145 'X' months ago we all would have said, "ah that part's outclassed by BD 145". And yet here we are today with VariAres R145 RF burning up stadiums around the world...
In that light, I think the chance to load up on tracks and tips while getting the latest set of wheels is a pretty good thing. That being said, phantom is the wheel to have at the moment and I wouldn't pass it up!

Oh, pfft. Here's the conversation I just had with my parents:
Kaiba: "So, can I order the Ultimate DX Set now and get the Strongest Blader Set for Christmas?"
Kaiba's mom: "You know we were kidding, right? We wouldn't let you spend over $100 on Beyblades in under a month."
Kaiba: "Actually, I did believe you..."
Kaiba's dad: "Well, we were lying. *chuckles*"
So, looks like the SBS.

Not really, to be honest, R145 was always good on Gravity Perseus, I don't think anyone considered it outclassed by BD145 for that setup.
XF might be a good example though.

Don't you just hate it when they do that?

Either set would be fine to me, though. In the long run, SBS would probably be better, seeing as the price for the UDXS is still pretty high, and the SBS' parts have been tested and succeed.
Once SonoKong releases the UDXS, though... I'll be getting my hands on that.
so my beylauncher L/R screwed up on me again. this is the second time the string got knotted under the retracting gear. it was a pain to fix the last time (there is a small "spring" like piece that refused to co-operate)
Arrrrgh, crummy piece of plastic

I have been able to KO basalt 230 cs with a ray combo, is that weird or is it me????
It's normal. Ray sucks.
EDIT: Misread. That is not normal.

I know right but i could KO basalt! I was using BB-10 if you were wondering

Is the one that comes with Gravity? I've found that the Red one doesn't have those problems.
Actually, I misread your post. It is very abnormal that you were able to KO Basalt 230 with Ray. What condition is the CS in? And what Ray combo?

yep, but it is the takara version, not sonokong.
i think i know what i am getting next then, as i do not want to fix it every time i use it
The cs was calm and the ray combo was mf ray libra sw145 rf
