Beyblade Random Thoughts
Besides the commercial, discussion on beyblade.ytv.com should go in the anime forum, since there is nothing else on the toys really ...
I can see the Metal Fusion commercial really appealing to the kids/teens that see it.
I'm sure it'll get lots of new people into Beyblade. (And I wouldn't be surprised if it pulled some old fans back in)
As long as those old fans aren't the type that think anything that's not the plastic generation is automatically inferior.

That promo is pretty nice.
yes I agree they did a pretty good job on the promo. even the anime promo was great. Iliked them both XD.
Very nice promo. Like others have said, I'm sure it'll get kids into the hobby.
However, I loved how the guy was like "I've practiced ... prepared ..... and battled at BeybladeBattles.com", as if battling online made him a better player LOL. They have to promote the platform, of course, but it's just funny how they put it in there.

Probably should've went with "I've tested out combos at BeybladeBattles.com" or something.
Finally it's opened. The site looks ok so far, as everyone else has said, the promo was actually pretty good.
Thank goodness, I was worried that it would never be up! Those promo videos were pretty awesome, but the anime commercial made it sound like it's just back to getting to the world tournament again, only with more plot elements. Hearing Jinka just made me laugh. But I can't wait for this anime. Beybladebattles looks like the Battle Strikers game, but did that guy playing the game have some sort of controller?
the ad looks like something thats advertising UFC or fight night games xD still its quite cool
Apparently we are supposed to say "Marcury" and "Olso" ...

It would be a shame to miss the movie; but when I go to Japan, I could just buy the preorder ticket just for Sol Blaze.
So technically speaking, we could simply pre-order the ticket that's on there for "Small public sale ticket set (3 years old - junior high school student)", and get the blade for 1,580 Yen (including tax)?
Are there any details on there about when they'll ship you the Sol Blaze, or do you have to collect it in cinemas with the pre-order ticket?

It'd be really Badcarp if you can use Mail Order for that.
Also, below the all the movie stuff there's some info for the new NDS game. Apparently, iif you buy the game at Lawson, you can get a Metal Sticker of Susanoo. That sounds interesting.

It appears unexpensive to me.

August 19th, I believe. Two days before the screening. Pre-order period is between that, starting today.
Ah, the actual items do look more Uranus Green ...

The color actually looks pretty good and more Uranus Green-ish than what they showed in the old images.
Those aren't sets, Kai-V -- those are wholesale cartons.
