The base blue launcher works with gV
They don't fit on any of my launchers, I got gZ, gK, dF (Left spinning so doesn't count), sX and M2, and with my Hasbro launchers I can only use M2 and sX but most of the times doesn't even fall off the launchers.
I have to use the proto launchers

Certain layers (like my aC) don't like the fact that the metal rivet in the center is there, and also tend to stick.

No. The picture that Valt holding dE is just use Valts' face expression to show how amazing this beyblade is. Actually Valt have been holding a lot of other beys in different COROCORO issues.

I think they mean in the comic.
Valt only uses the featured bey(s) in the comics that showcase the bey(s) for the purpose of trying to increase hype. It's more of a separate line of story than a main/canon one.
