Beyblade Random Thoughts

I've used Zenmarket a decent bit now to get stuff from YJA, and after experimenting a bit, I found that putting the declared value (as Zenmarket allows you to change the shown value) to below 3500 or 4000 yen will guarantee no customs fees when shipping via EMS to the UK. Packages are marked as merchandise when ordering from Zenmarket or HLJ, so I guess that's why sellers like Oki or using Tenso are also good options.

That's strange since the cut off point is £15 so you should be getting charged for anything that's like over 2400ish yen.

The US in general doesn't seem to bother with charging people customs. Wish the UK was like that. They're more than happy to take a chunk of money from you.
IMO the ability to change the customs declaration value might be worth the cost of using ZenMarket alone. And unlike any other shopping service I've used, they'll personally insure the entire value of the package for you anyway. Most services will only reimburse you the declared value.

but I guess you know that you pay a lot of hidden fee with Zenmarket
coz someone without I asked him anything, showed me his zenmarket order and what he paid
and I made him realized that ZEN charged him 3 or 4 times a Hokkaido Local shipping fee (1,200 x4) from the same seller who is actually located in the same City as ZEN (in Osaka) which is only had to pay 500 yen
and a fee to repack your items, a fee to send your payment, .......

such you said that you bought the B-31 from Amazon, I guess using then
you paid about 1,600 yen without adding the extra fees

on my site it's 1,575 yen after adding the Paypal fee, and no local shipping to pay
like the guy I talked with specified me

and if my site charge too much shipping cost,
I ask the buyer if he needs to get anything else, or want a partial refund or I transform the extra money in point on my site.
but there is also the option to use pay the shipping after the release to get the exact shipping cost like a fee people use when make a big order

yesterday, I actually found out that ZEN was in Osaka after that Ashton Pinton put a picture here.
coz I never checked the site, and I dont know why but I always thought that they were from Tokyo
Yeah. That was me he is talking about. They charged me 3600¥ for 2 NIB HMS beys and one NIB plastic bey from the same seller, all bought at the same time. $30 to ship what was probably a $5 package. Seems that they can be pretty sneaky sometimes. I have a hard time believing that they paid 1200¥ each for those small packages and they probably combined them to boot
Here is What Zenmarket Says about Combined Shipping :-
Recently we have introduced a new automatic system for purchasing items on Yahoo! Auctions. This system automatically asks seller for combined shipping, in order to make shipping fee less for you. Thus, you no longer need to worry about this matter. However, due to the limitations of the system, the system will only ask sellers to combine shipping for items, purchased from 5 am JST (Japanese Standard Time) till 5 am of the next day All the items purchased after 5 am of the next day will be treated as purchased on the next day, and wont be eligible for combined shipping.

So its like Auctions should be won the Same day between 5 am of the day till 5 am of the next day.
No I am really not sure about their system but it looks maybe that's why they charged you So much shipping ? not combined shipping Even from the Same seller !!!
if remember well those auctions ended about the same time

Did you guys consider that it was an administrative error? Describing it as "sneaky" seems unfair. Did you ask ZenMarket for an explanation?
My experience buying in Japan at the stores where with a passport and Visa card saving the sales tax (8%) plus 5% of M.S.R.P. and buying NEW releases ONLINE the best prices out there are Hobby link Japan, there's no middle man no local shipping and for us in North America faster because they are Off Tokyo. We bought from so many places in the past including Taka Ohno, Oki, amazon.co.jp Takara Tomy mall. Buyee, Zenmarket etc, but as we speak this are the best prices.
Hobby Link Japan

By the way we don't get commission to refer them but we are doing this to save YOU on your future purchases.
Hey,
My first Burst Beys order was from Hobby Link Japan and yes It arrived around few days ago. It was a fine Experience.
I had ordered The B-01 DX Valkyrie Starter Pack and Three Boosters and yes they had declared the full value. I had to give 2 Dollars Approx Clearance Charges when it was Delivered.
Cheers !!!
Burst.
HLJ is a great store, I just find their stock is pretty unreliable. Plus since I buy other things from Japan it's nice to combine shipping.
HBJ So far so good in terms of stock and the fastest delivery time of all the places we Buy from. To do a combine shipping and lower the the value of parcel zenmarket is ideal but not god new releases.
Yes, Kevo did in the Guide to Fake topic already : https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-theflig...pid1313709
I miss the good old days of Sonic the Beyblade, Charizard, Great Moth and Grand Tortomon. Back then, atleast fakes had comedy to them.

So thanks to HEAVYWEIGHT REVIVAL I got some "amazing" ideas for Beyblade Burst modifications, which are really dangerous haha. Video is coming soon.
Sits on the defense ring, eh? It would be pretty cool if they crafted an actual disk like that.
Hahahaha. That's awesome dude. Now that's what I call a Victory Valkyrie (cuz you aren't gonna lose, lol). Gonna have to try it out. I bet other similar rings fit too
can anyone tell me how much should i pay to buy 1 F230 [TT Orange]? in USD

edit:- my old F230 brokes, so buying new one
I hope there are going to be a Griffin/Gargoyle Disk and a Horn (H145) driver. That would be cool.

In my opinion the orange hasbro ones from Bandid Genbu work fine, too. I have two and with some wd40 they are unbeatable. I recommend you to buy a hasbro bandid genbu because it only costs you 15$ instead of 90$ and they are as good as the tt ones. Wink
Um, no, stop spreading false information. First off, Hasbro F230s are no where near as good as an orange TT F230. Also, using WD40 is an illegal modification.
Bandid Genbulls don't cost $90, and have never gone for that price... They used to range from $30 to $40 just on eBay, and could probably be found for less on Rakuten or YJA. Pretty sure a Bandid Genbull just went for $25 on eBay the other day..

Hasbro F230s can be alright, but they have never compared to the Takara Tomy orange F230, let alone Hasbro's consistentsies, too...
I actually tried the Driver thing with my Death frame but it keeps slipping off, probably due to the placed gaps.
Hey, I was planning to buy a display to expose my rarest Beyblades. I had thought something like that (http://imgur.com/jEdbnDx) but I would not know where to find it, if you have any suggestions tell me. Grin

Oh, there are several that are on sale on eBay, for instance here: http://www.ebay.com/bhp/acrylic-display-box

Otherwise, if you are looking for real local stores, I do not know what exists in Roma, but try to find the sort of shop that specialises in artisanal art, that also sells frames, etc.
