Pretty good episode, it's cool to see Lui return and he seems as strong as ever...well against Aiga anyway. And yeah he fights Aiga here much to my surprise.

Aiga vs Lui, after a small tap and one large collision, Longinus beats Achilles effortlessly. The scene before it is a reminiscent of the first seasons ep 36, only this time Aiga is shown physically capable of both dodging the rope pulling swings from Lui and catching it too, which is kind of cool.

Now for Valt vs Lui, I honestly thought Lui had this one, and initially he did easily winning two points from Valt. However Valt also gained two points after with his awesome and stronger Flash Shoot move used by the Volcanic driver. The third battle had a collision so intense that the stadium was destroyed therefore ending the match with no conclusion and Lui unable to steal Valts title, angering Lui. It was funny to see that too. The battle was overall really good, I really liked it.

I should mention that throughout the episode, Longinus glows purple in Luis hand which is similar to how Lighting L-Drago did. This is also the fastest Lui has lost a point with his new beyblade, losing it in his proper debut and also not actually win a match this time. It's also the first time Valt onscreen hasn't lost against Lui although he didn't exactly win either. I did like seeing Valt be more capable, as well as landing a jump and not trip over.

So yeah this episode was cool and entertaining, and I saw episode 6's trailer and I have one question: Could Lui make a face more laughable and unintentionally more hilarious than the one he had near the beginning of that trailer? I found the face he made absolutely hilarious!

Wow! Since most of the bladers have covered of what was on the episode there is nothing much left to say...
But,
Valt Vs Lui..

This is gonna be sweet..
And Fubuki, he looked way to serious in this match..
Don't know why, but I feel this episode is gonna teach Fubuki teamwork?
Cause I could see him playing all solo on the preview.. But I could be wrong.

Of course my favourite part was the Fubuki with Shu flashback, which shows they're gonna go deeper into their relationship.
I've spent the last week thinking how could Valt vs Lui end, and both options seemed weird. Glad they went with something like a tie.

Valt has been avoiding it up until now evidently. Maybe now that he's champion, it's time for him to get the arm injury treatment.

Tbh I think lui will win one point and maybe a lot of ties then Valt Bursts him? Valts has held his world placing for two years and has had 2 months with wV, so maybe lui might win 1 point but Valt will win the battle ?

Honestly speaking I'm still trying to understand how did valt maintain his title for 2 years , I mean if he was having title defence constantly he had to lose sometimes it's hard for me to see him wining everyone , don't get me wrong valt is very strong but the story is telling that nether shu are free couldn't beat Valt,  the must have really softened this 2 to nerf them somehow lui is understandable since he didn't have nL unless the say he had repaired it and than change to bloody Longinus but anyway I looking forward to see that battle

Shu has arm injured after the God bladers cup (although Shu could use his left hand to shoot, it might not be powerful enough against Valt right hand)
and Lui's nL got broken by Shu which means he has no blade to battle with.
The nearest top rank left are Sisco and Krutz, which Sisco already lost to Valt in his normal practice.
Therefore chouzetsu plot make Krutz the second rank in the world at the very beginning,  and make Lui comes back with his new blade after the championship match.
And now Valt got his hand injured in this episode. Funny thing is the stadium got destroyed and announced  "no contest" saved Valt's championship title. Valt is still a miracle boy indeed. However Aiga is a talent type. Fubuki is a hard working type.

just remember: ChoZ takes place 2 YEARS after the end of God,so I don't think Free and Shu would still de arm injured after 2 YEARS of recovering.

Oh the ending to that battle was such a tease!

Though I did love this episode a lot. Aiga finally got casually curb stomped which is something I wanted to see for weeks now. Lui's been toned down a lot which I really enjoy as well, still a jerk, but it's obvious that the battle between him and Valt was in good spirits which is how Beyblade battles should always be.

Lui better win next episode's three on one battle though. We just curb stomped Aiga so we don't need an excuse for his unbearable ego to flair up again (Not without heavy training on his part)

yeah well this is a type of ritual followed by every beyblade series that the protagonist should have an ego size of an elephant or lets say size of japan...
So no matter how much the ego gets hurt it will never effect the protagonist..

Why did the judge point at Valt at the end of battle 3?

If the champion is not defeated, then they still remain the champion under no contest conditions, assuming no contest doesn't mean that the tournament will continue at a different date.

I feel in general people underrated the significance of title defence. It's significantly more difficult than achieving the champion position and also less significant interest wise compared to the initial stage of achieving champion status. Since Valt has been the undefeated champion for 2 years, which seems to be a record of sorts, at this point in the story, Valt is canonically one of the strongest bladers in history. Also, since no mention of Lui and Valt's rivalry during these past two years was mentioned, there is a possibility Lui had challenged Valt to a title match previously. Free and Shu haven't been mentioned at all and the same could apply for the both of them. Extrapolating Valt's season 1 ability is thus meaningless since he must have improved significantly by default due to the fact that he's been undefeated these past few years. Trying to say his only competitors are Kurtz and Sisco is not a fair assumption to make.

Wow both Valkyrie and Longinus had the level up chips but they didn't talk about at all.
