Great battles. Super Tornado is a great new move for Ranjiro and I’m satisfied with all the results. Also nice use of Limit Break The End.

the battles may be short but it's satisfying finally tactics are use and shu and lane work pretty well shu intercepting both Helios and Hyperion to push them up directly for lane and the way he use the end limit break was creative and genius defently learn well their going to be a problem shu is defently up to something which valt will most likeky be the only one that  figured out although it's obvious,aiga and ranjiro had a great tactic too ranjiro using his new move to stale sisco while aiga take free with him out of the stadium and Satan pushing ragy back but little did sisco know the plate give ragy that extra spin and gg nice strategy, the asahi Bros also was good just mot ready for that pair of genius and prodigy overall good episode if they keep this up it's going to save this season for most fans

Story
I really enjoyed how they tell the story in this episode battle are using strategy again after a while and pacing are really good in this episode.


Hyuga hikaru vs Shu lean
The outcome was really predictable but how they execute the battle is really enjoyable and fun

Aiga Ranjiro vs Free Sisco
Finally no Mirage claw for the save it's really cool to see Ranjiro finally after a while gets a new Special move and taking the W


Animation
In Some scenes the facial expression character model and proportions are weird as well like how Shu jacket is looks more bigger than the character model also to point out that at some scenes the 2D movement are kinda off but regardless the animation doesn't really effect the episode overall

Opening 4 or 5 looks to be animated by hanamaru judging by the movement and art style

Overall I think this is a really good episode to start off the tournament and surprisingly really enjoyable one to watch solid episode I'll give it 8/10

My guess is Shu bursts Hyperion and Lane bursts Helios.

Nice to see Ranjiro and Aiga win as I was rooting for them. See? The wins are random and anyone has a chance. Hyuga/Hikaru and Shu/Lane seem to be the only confirmed plot armour links in this tournament

Very enjoyable episode imo.

Everyone knew the result of the first round but I love the way they did it. Shu and Lane actually synergized well and used strategy instead of Lane being the usual 'I say "FLARE", you lose'.

Second round was great too. I didn't want to choose between Aiga and Free so the tie is great. Ranjiro getting a new move (Super Tornado) is great as well. That said, how was Sisco stupid enough to push Ragnaruk into the storm plate?

i will have to agree with you here; looks like they will be portraying shu as the red eye form until they do a reveal that shu is actually good and that he teamed up with lean to improve him in a later episode (im guessing episode 49-50). It will also be interesting to see the fight between Rantaro and Shu.

I agree, there's like 0 chance Shu isn't faking it.

I don't mind at all though. Edgy Shu, a round-robin tournament, and a rich person hosting and sometimes commenting on said tournament in his VIP cabin reminds me of God a lot lol.

Happy to see more strategy implemented with this new stadium. I'm also happy that Ranjiro's training has actually paid off a made the Super Tornado, though I kinda found it weird that Aiga used Infinite Sword as a special move when it seemed like they wanted to avoid that. Well, still two nice battles. Short, but nice.

Edit: Infinite Sword is not a special move, just checked the Japanese website.

First of all, Aiga needs to start using the shield mode, it was only used once unfortunately. Secondly, this was a great episode, and I'm guessing the finals are gonna be Lane and Shu vs Hyuga and Hikaru since they are probably gonna have a rematch. Very excited for the next episode.

I wouldn't consider that Red Eye. When he was Red Eye he was extremely agressive and destructive in battle. He's not Red Eye again.
