They can just introduce Daina and then no need to give Lean a teammate. And any other bladers will be better than Lean. Even Lui is better.
Lean almost offended every single legend blader, and he still got a teammate. This is what we called DISGUSTING.

Well they only have so much space in their cast and introducing Daina would require him to have his own arc which wouldn’t work since the super tag league is seemingly a closing arc. Having a teammate is just a rule of the tournament so it makes sense that he would have to have someone. Yes he’s offended the legends but he’s an antagonist, it’s what he does.

Well, it showed the tournament pairings, that's really it. Now let's talk about them.

Hikaru and Hyuga are a no brainer.

Valt and Rantaro work well, I thought Valt would pair with Shu but Rantaro is the best bud too, so hey.

Lean and Shu are kinda weird, but in all fairness, Lean had no one else to team up with, although I suppose they could've made a new blader who'd somehow be Lean's toady.

Free and Sisco... I can see it. I thought Free would pair with Lui but Sisco makes more sense since both are BC Sol. Maybe this'll be where Sisco proves himself to Free? Here's hoping this time.

Drum and Lui honestly felt like the writers just threw in whatever because they had no other real matches... granted they did sorta work well before, but it's just... weird.

Aiga and Ranjiro work well, though again, I hate that Ranjiro is in the Legendary Bladers group at all, when someone like Delta deserved it more.

If we're judging by what they had to work with, I suppose this was the best they could do. Alternatively I would've liked to see:

Valt and Shu
Rantaro and Ranjiro
Aiga and Drum

However I suppose it does leave too many leftover bladers who wouldn't match either.

Since Lean and Shu are inevitably the last ones standing for the main characters... that just means Shu once again advances further than Valt. I know it would likely be Lean getting them this far, but it really sucks that Valt is constantly getting upstaged by Shu when they should be equals. He's the one who gets to beat Variant Lucifer. Just make Shu the number 1 legend honestly, I feel that Valt is barely his equal sometimes. Yeah I'm kinda getting into a tangent, but I hate that Shu basically overshadows Valt too many times when they should actually feel like equals, I swear Shu is almost like a god figure in the series.

The tag battle concept is okay and could be interesting, but I would've preferred single player. I know it's because there's two main characters, but I feel the finale could be where the two face each other off, and not have the issues of some odd partner choices for others.

and i think we all know shu is kinda stronger than volt even in turbo shu was the first one to make a bey with the turbo wings system and volt even complimented shu saying that he is still 10 steps ahead of him

If we're going by what could be picked between all the Legendary bladers, keeping other pairings into consideration, then yeah, it's a no brainer. But if we ignored all that and looked at them as characters, I feel like they needed a bit more time. I know, limited by time but maybe show them interact here and there for a bit more.

Hikaru and Hyuga are brothers, a strong reason.

Valt and Rantaro, long time best friends, again, a strong reason.

Aiga and Ranjiro, same as Valt and Rantaro, a strong reason.

Free and Sisco, they at least had history with each other, and decent time for it. So decent reason.

Lean and Shu, while not as strong, Shu was at least established to be his coach, and had more time or plot relevant stuff with each other.

I understand that there's no one left to pair them with, and for what they are, they work okay, but it always seemed like the odd one out of the lot I suppose. But some could argue Shu and Lean are more odd. I'll give Lui and Drum credit that there was at least something at all, rather than just full on pairing the spares.

IMO drum and Lui chemistry goes well if they weren't forced like this, and about Sisco and free i do wish they didn't go this route because i want Sisco to finally beat free continuing the Sisco arc that barely got touched after the tournament arc

I see some don't like the lane vs shu team up but we have to remember. theirs no one else who they can put him with shu can take the heat.  his a character you can put with anyone as long as he has a little connection to.  now although that means their in the final that doesn't mean valt isn't equal to shu or shu is stronger yes story wise valt and rantaro pair is away to nerfed valt cause although I don't mind the pair.  and yes I would personally prefer if it was valt and shu while the glorious kiyamas work as a pair they could've been the twin jewels of this series , their another thing we need to take into account for some who says why they didnt make a partner for lane which is what I wanted to cause that's the backslash you get with double protagonist.  Uranus was wasted in lane hands he could've had s sibling or a friends that train with him under shu and boom problem solvers ,but again we have to remember they don't have the 20 plus minutes per episode anymore.  to much character will make the series rushed as H . it's already rushed as it is. now their us something they could've done I'm going to take a page out of bakugan since the series is 12 minute each per episode which 52 or 51 the solution is simple make the season a 2 part series with 102 or 104 episode when combine we get a full 52 episode with 20 plus minutes.  and I said once I'll say it again the went to far with the multiple main character thing they already had 3 with valt obviously favor as they Main character of burst why not keep these 3 and just make the bros add on rivals . look at this wall of text like lane flare lol

well if we look at an other way technically it actually Doesnt make sense while at same time it makes sense . lane is already op the writers just buff him with shu I don't think people really has a problem with shu it's more of a lane problem to why his getting buff so much why not just keeping out of th tag tournament. shu is basically being use to only buff lane not as an actual partner

So far the only bey we havent seen burst no including Helios Volcano, Hyperion Burn (which it has), Lucifer The End. Its pretty much just Mirage Fafnir. Tho when it does burst I think it will likely be in Absorb Mode
